Before Remus could object, the girl had given him a key. He looked down at it and shook his head, returning his gaze to the girl. "I'm sorry, love, but I can't accept this. It would be way too much trouble for you and your mates... And I can't exactly sleep in a place where I'm not welcomed." Slowly approaching Renia and returning the key, Remus clasped the girl's hands in his and gave them a little shake. "I really appreciate the kindness though, and I will repay you for it, but don't worry about me. I'll be fine," the irishman said in a reassuring voice. The last thing Remus wanted was to be a burden for the girl, or for anyone. It wasn't often that he met a stranger who showed such kindness, but he couldn't live with himself if he was taken in undeservedly.

Meister: Jillian Q.  Ren frowns. He was still refusing her offers, which meant he probably hasn't gotten much kindness while being in the city. She awkwardly shifts back when he touches her, it was a bad reaction but she couldn't help it. Renia wasn't used to physical contact. If she had been wearing her normal dress her hundreds of scars on her back and shoulders would be showing. " You don't need to repay someone for being nice.. Ever. Okay?" Renia shook her head slightly. Her frown kept its presence on her pretty pale face.

Remus was a bit taken back from the girl's frown. Fearing that he had upset or offended her, he released her hands, crossing his arms tightly in front of him. "Sorry, love... Didn't mean to get touchy," he said apologetically. It almost seemed like she was scolding him as she spoke about not repaying her, but the irishman paid no mind to it. He was raised to repay kindnesses, but he didn't want to argue with Renia. She was almost too nice for her own good. "Okay..." Remus said meekly, still worrying that he had offended the girl.

There were no birds chirping, no wind blowing and no sign of another human being for miles. It was like the two were cut off from the rest of the city. The eerie silence was broken by the subtle sound of a low-pitched humming noise. The noise was coming from above them. If they were to look up, the two would see a towering figure standing there in the air, looking down on them. The soul wavelength that it was giving off as well as the incredible amount of madness, could only have belonged to one man. A man Mirai and Texas both knew, it was none other than Mirai's own father, the Demon King himself, Divine Hope. Divine said nothing as he slowly began his descent towards the ground. He would land a few feet away from the duo, "Mirai, your existence is a plaque to both me and the world. In order to put a stop to that, I will need to eliminate you." he told her, completely ignoring Texas. ◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas was walking along with Mirai, arms folded behind his head. Just then he felt as if something were off and looked around, unable to tell how he knew. Then he looked up and saw Divine hovering in the air. He listened to the brief back and forth between Mirai and Divine, his expression becoming angry. He was still too scared to say anything directly to Divine's face but he looked over at Mirai. "Don't worry Mirai, we can beat this chump!" He told her confidently, putting a hand on her shoulder.

Holding out his right hand in front of him, Divine summoned a simple longsword and pointed the tip at Mirai's chest, more specifically where her heart was, "Kill me and save your mother and the city or die here, knowing that the people and city you love so much will be utterly destroyed. Those are you two choices." he told her before lowering his sword. Divine then glanced over at Texas, "Boy" he uttered, finally acknowledging his presence. "From the very beginning, I felt neither hatred or joy towards you. I saw you merely as a toy for Mirai, but now you've both worn out your usefulness. Take your weapon form and prepare to fight." Divine commanded. However, as soon as he spoke, his body eroded into pure energy and vanished. Seconds later, Divine appeared behind Texas already aiming his sword towards the boy's neck, attempting to decapitate, he would give him no chance to transform. ◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas grit his teeth as he listened to Divine talk trash about him and Mirai. As soon as Mirai teleported them away, he switched to his Weapon form, landing in her hands as soon as she had finished her telekinetic blast. "Come on Mirai! Let's take him out!" He yelled from the flames of his sword.

She had never spoken like that to Divine before. Her words were those of pure hatred and disgust all of which was the result of Divine's own actions and words. Hearing her speak, Divine actually smiled at her, "Selfish demon trash? Spoken like a true demon, Mirai." he said, before multiple portals opened up behind him and various ordinary swords were seen shooting out intercepting her blast, effectively protecting Divine. Still standing there, Divine spoke up once more, "It seems you are finally embracing that demon blood that flows within your veins. That hatred and anger. Where was this Mirai before? This Mirai is the one that I've longed to control." Divine told her, as he noticed her powers spiked, "Sadly, you are still useless to me and that pathetic boy you've grown so attached to, will die by my hands." Divine increased his soul wavelength as well, easily matching Mirai's. He then sent a one hundred of his swords at her, intending to impale her and Texas. ◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊▬◊
