She felt the energy connecting them fade, and Musica release her hand. She had burns on them, but that was a small price to pay. She would do it again, and again, and again. They blinked, and when Ari opened her eyes, she was seeing from her own body. It was dark, however, almost as if there was poor lighting. With each beat of her heart, it got darker, and darker until with a final beat, the darkness became complete once again. It sucked, she wasn't going to lie, to go back to this when she had seen. It really, really sucked. But she was happy he did that for her... she was oh so happy.
She gave him a big hug, drying off the remaining tears. She placed a palm on the side of his face and guided it down to hers. Ari pressed her lips to his, and the kiss was full of happiness. "Ich freue mich, dass Sie es taten!" she murmured as she pulled away.

Musica was too weak to return the kiss like he normally would, he didn't even shake this time. His piercing blue eyes were more pale, but his vision had fully returned to him. His breath was heavy from the loss of all that magic and pure energy. He'd never worked magic very often, that being the first time in years. Musica never got the chance to be trained in it, so he couldn't use it properly. He took her hand again and slowly, with heavy foot steps, walked them back out to the bedroom and sat them both down on the couch. His breathing didn't didn't cease being heavy, and when he spoke he stuttered badly. "Ich bin, also traurig kann ich nicht tun besser als Fräulein Ari, oder bilden Sie es länger. Ich würde sterben, wenn ich es viel länger bildete, dann würden Sie nie eine Wahrscheinlichkeit haben, wieder zu sehen. Ich würde nicht so weg von Ihnen nehmen wollen."

"Musica," Ari said sternly, "Es ist nicht erforderlich, dass ich sehe. Ich bin unglaublich dankbar für diese Momente, die du mir gegeben hast. Mach dir keine Sorgen!" She put her hands on the sides of his face again, placing her cool wrist on his forehead. "You're feverish!" she said nervously, probing the rest of his face. "Never do that again if this is what it does to you..." she murmured, brushing his hair away from his face.

Gently he grabbed her wrists to bring her concerned fingers away from his face. He shook his head and placed a finger to her lips to insist her to be silent for a moment. From within his jeans pockets he pulled out a flask filled with a drink for revitalization, just in case of moments like these. He drink about two gulps of it and then his fever began to cool and his energy began to stabilize. He definitely couldn't perform another trick like that for at least a few days, but he wouldn't be vulnerable to this War God anymore. The average person might not think, despite even knowing he was a Demigod, that he could hold his own against another God. He just displayed his ability to control Light Magic and was unnaturally strong. Musica put the flask back and brought her wrist back up to his forehead, just to show he was better now. "See? Nothing to worry about. I won't be able to do that again for a while, but I can do it again. Just so long as I have this potion I'm fine." His accented purr had returned to his voice, you know he had to be well again from that.

Ari rolled her eyes. "Show off," she muttered, but she smiled. She was reliving the few minutes she'd had of sight. It was amazing, and to think she'd never even thought to miss it her whole life! She supposed it was true, then, you couldn't miss what you'd never had. Well, she'd had it, and now she missed it. Still, she was happy to be back in the dark. It was familiar, it was safe. "Thanks again," she said, kissing him on the cheek.

Musica couldn't help but shake his head, laughing at her immediate switch back to the feisty Ari. He already once again had his arm around her shoulders, watching the girls torture the God. "I noticed you were awake longer than you appeared to be, in fact I noticed you move some when the music played for Evermore's dance. Sorry we woke you up, your very cute when you snore." He chuckled and looked at her, wondering how should respond this time.

Ari gasped, her hand flying to cover her mouth and her dead eyes going wide with her shock. "Musica!" she thundered, "I most positively do NOT snore!" Ari was on the defensive. Never in her life had her mother or friends ever accused her of snoring... oh, what if she had?! That would be embarrassing. "... and as for the song, I like Bad Romance! Lady Gaga has a few good songs," she said, sticking her tongue out at him for the millionth time. It was almost a signature comeback for when she couldn't think of anything else better to say. "... do I snore?" she squeaked.

Musica cackled now, his laughter growing uncontrollable as he grabbed his stomach with his unoccupied hand. He even started his old habit of snorting when he laughed, but he didn't care. Never did he care actually, which was good and bad sometimes. "Of course of course, my mistake little Ari." He spoke still laughing, but it was toning down now. "And Lady Gaga has good music? I mean sure that one song or two, but come on there is way better than her out there. Would one such as you argue a man named Musica about music?" Musica was actually just a name he made up after his change 77 years ago, never reverting back to his old name, his old identity. He kept the last name, but he never went by the name Nikolaus anymore. He made up the name because of his love of music, so yea arguing with a man like him about music would never be a good thing to do.

Ari grumbled as she shot him death glares. ”You enjoy torturing me, ja?” she quipped, smacking him on the leg. ”… and I never said all her songs were good! Paparazzi, Bad Romance, and Telephone are the only ones I like, Herr Critic!” she said. ”To each his own, though,” she said diplomatically. ”Is Musica your real name? Not that it’s a bad one… I’ve just never heard anyone called so before.”

Musica hummed when she smacked his leg, an image she probably wouldn't approve of flashing across his vision. Most of these song names didn't even ring a bell to his brain. "Why, I don't enjoy torturing you Miss Ari, am I doing such? I thought you enjoyed my company so well. And just food for you thought from the sounds of it I don't think I'd ever see you willingly go to a concert I'd go to. Then again I could be wrong." He said as he tapped his foot along to a tune he was playing in his head. Pulling out his iPod, he placed it on her leg and handed her one ear bud. "Here take a look and see if we see eye to eye musically. And to answer your question no, my whole life I haven't been known as Musica. After my change I became Musica, and that happened about 77 years ago."
((Take a gander at my music list, that'll be his iPod.))

"I do enjoy your company... maybe too much!" she said, laughing. She placed the bud in her ear and listened to the song. She raised her eyebrows. "Not bad!" she said, smiling, "I like this song..." she said, tapping her hands on her knees to the beat. "What was your birth name?" she asked, curiously.

"I'm glad you like Miss Ari, maybe sometime I could bring my guitar up and play. Or better yet come to the shop, I've got a whole section dedicated to karaoke and playing music. Maybe tomorrow night the party could be there. Some business would be nice you know." He said putting the other ear bud in his own ear. The girls sure were taking their time with Ares, he couldn't wait to see the finished product. At the mention of his past name he sighed deeply. "My old name used to be Nikolaus Brandt, but he died along with my past. No need to bring him up anymore."

Ari paused. “That’s a nice name,” she said softly. Sensing he didn’t want to share, she changed the subject. “Karaoke? I can sing,” she said, smiling. “… and I can play the guitar as well as the piano. I also write songs when I feel inspired,” she said. “What you helped me do today was inspiring… I might just write a song about you!” Ari teased. She bobbed her head in a comical way with the beat now, instead of tapping. “Is Eric done yet? You have to describe him to me!” she demanded, laughing.

He was thankful for leaving his past be, and smiled at her suggestion. "Oh yeah? A song about myself? I believe it's tempo would rival that of "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. My life is quite varied and hectic." Watched her dance with a happy gleam in his eye. "I've no idea as to when those girls will be done, they sure are taking their time. Don't worry I'll let you know when the time comes."
