Come on, I'm probably the youngest one here and even I know about OJ, even before I saw the south park episode.
I'm use to use to younger ppl make me feel old, not the older foggies. xp

Age doesn't matter so much as individual interrest.
If you have no interrest in EXCESSIVELY advertised court cases,
you're not going to hear about any of them.
Personally, I actively try to ignore them.
With all the crap news my dad is OBSSESSED with watching,
if I don't, I'd go crazy 24/7.

Technically, all news is "gossip" since it's talking about people that aren't connected to the audience. The supposed difference is that news is supposed to be important stuff that can affect the audience's life.
