Sam grinned at Kristi. "Jeez, I hope they don't kill us!" He shifted his weight foot to foot, he was excited. Aleera was inside, if she had come...'Hopefully...' he thought to himself.
{Jeez, thats harsh! I'm glad your better! I just finished english but I'm memorizing a script for my drama classes play! Its killer, since i've been sic since november...}

 Aleera smiled at Mysti, she was trying to make the party funner for everyone... at least she was sweet and trying. She decided to try and help... before she could get to Mysti, she closed her eyes... she could smell them... Kristan and Alex. Great... they were here. She had a feeling Casper and Dylan were busy and they would protect Maxi and Maura... so Aleera would probably have three to protect... Kristi, Sam, and Mysti... She smiled, even though she was on the defensive in her mind. So Aleera has to be the mature vampire didn't fall in with love and such.
Alex looked at Kristan and hoped he be too busy to notice her flirting with a boy... or girl, to get their blood. His hand curled into tights fists at the thought of her with another... He knew she'd get jealous... and he knew that he'd get jealous... hopefully they'd get over it. She was too important to him now to lose her, like he did the last time. He calmed himself and smiled back at her. "The night is young my love... party hard and feast well." He chuckled and then watched her jump and ran after her, stopping right beside her. He examined the house and smiled... he could smell their blood from here. He was going to calm this Sam at some point, but his attention was also on Mysti... He made the first move and started to walk towards the house.
Kristi nodded at Sam, "Yeah I hope not... but we aren't the only ones late, so maybe it won't be too bad." She laughed as she waited at the door. He seemed excited... so was Kristi though.
(yeah, I'm in the musical and in a play, so I understand what your going through. I have so many lines to memorize on top of homework. what play are you guys doing? The musical is Guys and Dolls and the play is Dearly Departed on my part XD)

"Hopefully." Sam murmured back. He grinned at her when she laughed. She seemed just as excited as she, Kristi was just better at hideing it.
{Its a play one of our grade twelves wrote. Its really intersesting, creepy and humorous! I forget what its called, I don't have my script with me at the moment. But yeah, when I get the name I will tell you! biggrin }

Mysti heard the doorbell ring and clapped. "Finally, this thing was getting dull." She swung open the door for Kristi and Sam. "Maura!! Yes! The rest of the gang is here! And with gifts to bestow upon your feet!" She looked past her friends and saw Kristan and Alex at the end of the driveway. Her heart fluttered in her chest. That boy was a fine piece of meat. Kristan's eyes flashed something Mysti couldn't quite understand, but it made her smile nevertheless as she held the door aloft.
Casper couldn't help but chuckle at the flicker of Maxi's emotions. One minute his smile was sexy and he looked like he could dance all night, then the next minute his shy smile was back and he looked like he'd prefer a more private area. Both work for me. Whoa! Mind going bad places, mind going bad places! He wasn't sure if it was the hormones or the blood-lust that had caused that thought. Nevertheless at the sight of Maxi's nod Casper couldn't help but smile again as he wrapped his free arm around Maxi's waist and pulled him in for another kiss. "I'm glad." He murmured against the boy's lips before kissing him.
Kristan's eyes never stopped surveying the house. Nice size. Looked like some rooms would be open while others were more secular. Didn't seem as though there were many ways to escape. And oh! It was a two-story. Perfect. Victims always tried to jump out of windows, that was always so entertaining when they had to fall for awhile. The realization of how stupid their choice was always made her crumble with laughter. That or the blood. She was never really sure when she was in her hunting zone. Refocusing on the scene, Mysti opened the door and was happily greeting her friends. When her rainbow-glossed eyes lifted to catch sight of the two Vampires, Kristan heard the sudden rupture of her heart. The blood flow doubled in speed. she licked her lips as her eyes flickered over Mysti's body, causing the female to smile and blush. If she wasn't so intent on Maura she'd definitely snag Mysti.

Aleera decided to follow Mysti to the door... none of the other vampires seemed interested enough to help the remaining humans that they weren't 'in love' with. She saw Sam in the door way and smiled. He was the joker... of course. She looked up at the right time... she saw the flash in Kristan's eyes... the flash of blood lust. She didn't like that... and Alex had a smirk on his face. She turned back at Sam, "Hello again..."
Alex noticed the way Kristan looked at Mysti... but he knew that Kristan was after Maura. Mysti would be his catch this night. He saw that she was looking at him and he smiled back at her. He shook his bangs out of his face. When she turned away, that smile turned to a smirk. A blood thirsty smirk... he saw Aleera look at them and he just winked at her, laughing on the inside. She turned away as they got to the door. He also noticed that Kristi would be a good target for later... But, for now, his attention was on Mysti. Her blood smelled so... perfect.
Kristi smiled at Mysti and hugged her, "Sorry we're late... where are the birthday twins?" She came inside and looked around, hoping to see them somewhere. She felt awful for being late.

((that is harsh, I don't think I would ever be able to handle all that =/
I hope you get even better than you are now, I hate knowing that my friends are sick and I can't do anything about it except assure them that they will get better >.>
but yeah, I read the first book last summer and just had to read the second and so on. so I'm basically stalking the publishing date for all the books. like sometime this summer the fourth one is being released ^_^))
Maxi was ever so happy that he got to kiss Casper again. It was basically his dream come true...well more like multiple fantasies coming true tonight. His first, second, and possibly many more kisses on his birthday. A drop dead gorgeous boyfriend who Maxi couldn't seem to even grasp that he was actually dating now. And the fact that Casper had chosen him, out of anyone else. Yup, he felt like he was dreaming. Maxi smiled into the kiss, deepening it as he somehow maneuvered his boyfriend against the kitchen wall.
Maura smiled as more people started piling through the door. Her smile brightened as she saw her other two friends, Sam and Kristi, walk in with presents. Oh, how she just loved all her friends for being here. She practically ran down the stairs towards them, and gave both of them hugs. She hoped that Dylan would follow clsoe behind her, so that she could basically show him off as her new boyfriend.

"Hello." Sam straightened his back when he saw Aleera. He smiled shyly then grinned when he felt Mauras hug. "Hey! Sorry for being late birthday girl! Heres your presents" He handed her the fairly large package wrapped in black shiney wrapping paper, topped with a purple bow. Another little box was tapped to the top. The larger box contained 12 different dracula movies he had collected for her for the past year and a half. Along with the dracula original book and underworld series. The smaller box contained a small black crytal spider ring.
"Wheres the birthday boy?" He asked glancing around.

Dylan smiled lightly as he looked around the room. It seemed that everyone was pairing off into little groups. It was his fault that the birthday girl was stolen away, but what about the birthday boy? Red eyes flicked to look at Casper and Maxi. We're they kissing? Or was his eyes playing tricks on him? Turning his head again, he noticed Maura's dash down the stairs. Dylan smiled lightly and then followed gracefully, or as gracefully as he could managed in the tight pants he was wearing, after her.
Curiosity hit him as he noticed an unfamiliar face. He would have to introduce himself later, but for now, Dylan made his way up to Maura and wrapped his arms around her waist. He wanted her to have full motion of her torso, but her waist was his for now, without any sexual thoughts crossing his mind.
{So sorry everyone. I've been a combonation of being busy getting college stuff filled out and done, Studying for the SATs and falling into an Emo spiral.
Oh and to solve our testosterone defficincy problem.... I have a set of twins in mind that could spice this up a few notches.... In a good way.}

I'm sorry about you being busy and falling into an Emo Spiral. If it makes you feels any better, I'm headed down that same spiral too...plus the fact that I'm going crazy...like really crazy and no one sees it. =/ ))
Maura giggled as Dylan wrapped his arms around her waist. She smiled at Sam as she held the box. She loved the way it looked, making her feel like preserving it instead of tearing it open to see what was inside. She nibble on her bottom lip as she leaned in more towards Dylan, deciding whether to open the presents now, or way until after the cake. "Thank you so much, the wrapping looks so gorgeous. I think I may have to keep it preserved like this for a bit longer." She said with a smile, fnally deciding to open the rest of her presents after the cake, which couldn't be until later. "I'll make sure to open this right after the cake. For now I think we should just have fun until the sugar coma comes." She said with a slight giggle. Maura realized that she had no idea where her cousin was. "Um, I don't really know where he is." She said as she looked at Mysti, hoping that she woudld know where Maxi had went.

Dylan smirked lightly. "Sugar Comas are interesting." Dylan had always enjoyed sugary things. It just made everything so sweet. "As for your cousin...I might have an idea where he is. Seen Casper lately?"
Reese stretched lightly. He was still a little unsure of if his brother was right this time. The last four towns didn't hold what they were after, and he was sure that this one was no exception. "Ryan, are you sure this is the right town?"
Ryan bounced lightly where he stood. He was busy looking over a map, hoping they were in the right place, lest Reese get angry with him.....Again. "Trust me, This is the town When have I told you wrong before?"
Reese fumed slightly. "When have you told me wrong before? How about the last four towns?!?" Reese was ready to punch Ryan, a fist already clenched.
"I'm positive this time, look at the soil here, to fresh and oddly shaped to be anything else besides a grave." Ryan was used to Reese's anger by now, it was usually directed to him anyways. Reaching into his bag, Ryan pulled out a pack of gum and unrapped two pieces. "Chill out... Gum?"

"Okay! So what have we missed.... It seems we have a new couple?" He smile widened when he saw Dylan hugging Maura around the waist.
Sam pushed his hair away from his face and glanced at Aleera.

Maura blushed and giggled as she thought about her cousin and Dylan's friend somewhere in the house making out. She continued to smile, somewhat leaning back on Dylan, loving the feel of his arms around her waist. After hearing Sam's comment, she blushed deeply and nibbled on her bottom lip. "Well, yes, your right." She said proudly.

Dylan gave out a bright smile. There was just something about hearing the admission that they were a couple was so joyous to him. Carefully, Dylan lowered his face to mach the side of Maura's and gently pressed his lips against her cheek. Pulling back lightly he whispered, just for her ears. "Blushing then proud? So cute."
Reese was, for a lack of a better word, annoyed. His brother pulled the same annoying stunts over and over, but he was usually correct in his chosings as well. When offered the gum, he laughed lightly. "You no I can"t stand the stuff." Sighing lightly he added. "But anyways lets go, this is a big town, and we aren't sure how many there are."
Ryan frowned lightly, his gift rejected once again. "I'm going to get you to chew it one day, mark my words!!" Ryan laughed lightly before nodding, he wasn't sure how many there were either, but he just hoped that they weren't causing any trouble to the people in the city, like they did to the poor victim that sat under the grave near them.

Maura giggled as Dylan kissed her on the cheek and whispered in her ear. She blushed again and turned to face him. "Is that a bad thing?" She asked innocently with a small smile on her face.
