Nobody had ever told Rin face-to face that they cared for her until now. Her face was near cherry red and she was still looking at Sukai. The look of pain had slowly started to disappear "Do you really mean that?" She asked refering to when he said he cared. She didn't really understand why people would start caring now. After all the times she was alone, it was now that someone actually said they cared.

He let go of her gently."I mean it."He pulled off his bracelet with the three bells and put it on her arm."A gift. To a beautiful girl."he said.Sukai fixed his glasses once more and pushed his hair behind his ear.
I have a friend now. This is wonderful
He smiled and tried to think of something else to say."So.....Do you feel better now?"he asked Rin.

Rin smiled sweetly. "Thank you." This was the first time in a while that she could call someone a true friend. Looking down at her wrist, she looked at the bracelet when Sukai called her beautiful. Now that was a first timer she would remember. Never in her life had Rin ever been called anything close to beautiful. Looking back up to Sukai, she listened to his last question he asked. "Yes, I feel much better now." She answered.

He saw her smile again and it filled him with joy.He was so glad to have a friend now.When Rin said she was better he grinned."That's wonderful!" he said rather loudly.He put his hand over his mouth when he remembered that they werein a library.Slowly he moved his hand away, still grinning.
I hope the Elders won't be too mad at me for slacking off on my duties

Rin's smile remained on her face. When Sukai said what he said in loud tone, she slapped her hand over her own mouth to prevent herself from laughing. Although her eyes said it for her already that she wanted to laugh. Without thought, she leaned back in the chair and accidentally flipped it over. "I'd say today hasn't been my best day ever in the way of how coordinated I am.."

He smirked when he saw her try to supress a laugh.suddenly she fell backwards with a loud 'thud'.Sukai got out of the his chair and rushed to Rin's side."You alright?" he asked her while he checked for any visible signs of injury.He held out his hand. "Here, let me help you up."

Rin stayed in that one position for a few moments thinking. She then stood up with the help of Sukai. "Yes, I'm just fine. I've had worse accidents then this" She then pulled the chair upright and looked around, hoping not many people saw her flip the chair over. "I feel so clumsy right now. Second time in the sameplace..."

"Don't feel so bad.I'm pretty clumsy too."he said.Sukai sat back down in his chair and smiled. "So, how long have you been here at Ria?" he asked Rin.He wanted to keep the conversation going.He was really interested in her life.Plus he loved the way she talked.

Rin thought about the question, thinking back on how long she'd been at Ria. "Not even three weeks yet. Possibly even two." She answered as she sat back down in the chair she was in. Normally, she didn't keep track of time, making it hard to tell how long she has bee in one place. "And you?" She asked Sukai as she looked up at him.

He shrugged."A few days I guess. Hard to keep track around here. Time flies by so quickly in this place."he said to her.Sukai scratched his head abit."So do you enjoy it here? I think it's a tad bit...unusual, but that's just me.Of course I've never been to a school before so I guess any school would seem odd to me."he said.

Rin had always been home schooled until now, so she had an easy answer. "I agree with you. Since I've always been home schooled and all... this does seem unusual" Looking down at the table, she didn't think of very much. Her gaze shifted to the bracelet, then back up to Sukai. To her, public school was different then home school.

"Yeah back at the orphanage the closest thing we came to public school was sitting in the same room with each other.So I'm sure you can only imagine how shocked I was when I came here." he said.Though he was looking at her face he couldn't help but notice her gaze leave him and go to the bracelet and then back to him.
I wonder what she's thinking about

"An orphanage? I think I'd be terrified just walking into one after all my experiences with my six siblings." Rin let out a small laugh. "They could count as one whole class I bet." She said refering to her siblings. Knowing her siblings they are such troublemakers. She then thought back on how they always tried to use her as an experiment and shook her head slightly.

He laughed along with her."Yeah I bet they would."he said.Sukai sneezed from the tiny bits of dust in the air.His glasses slid almost completely off his face so when he looked back up at Rin, they were very crooked.He frowned a bit and tried to re-adjust them."Bloody glasses I swear." he mumbled to himself.
