Alekssander clenched his fists. There was a big decision to me made, but no time to make it. Regardless, he made his choice anyway. "No..." said Alex, his voice painful. "We can't go looking for him. Not now. We have our own safety to look out for first. The labs are probably still looking for us. There's no way we can go out now."
Jon and Kale both looked at Alex with a look of pleading confusion. Why couldn't they go look for Cecil? He could be in trouble...
Meanwhile, Rachael and Mikayle both nodded, still shaken, as they started to follow Hannah downstairs.

Richard quarter turned his head towards Alex. "You're really going to leave a friend of yours out there with those labcoats while you hide around in temporary safety? I don't mean to be rude...but couldn't you do something? Every second only adds to the pain before something is done"

Holly looked down at her plate and said quietly, "Alex is right. Our safety at the moment is more important than risking it to go find their friend. Our group is too large. If we all go out at once to fnid this guy, then we'll be spotted for sure. There has not been enough time to pass for the labs to be calmed down yet. We all need to wait, rest, and plan. We should never go out without a plan and a backup plan. We cannot afford to lose one of our own in an attempt to rescue another--we've done that before and I'm the evidence that that doesn't work out too well."

((Gah! Sorry I havent posted in a while... A little distracted lately.))
Manji and Ivy continued to walk in contented silence for a little while before arriving at a small clothing store. Manji pulled his hand away from hers for a moment but the sudden loss of warmth in his palm made him regret it. "Pick whatever you want but if it goes over four hundred please let me know" me said smiling a little as he went to the mens section.

Richard thought to himself. Then said, "I see...well why don't you send someone as a decoy before sending a team of two...someone that will grab the labcoats attention?" then he bit himself so that he could shut up. "Never mind, sorry I ever put up the idea."
He was going in too deep. This wasn't his personal problem, it was theirs. He couldn't do anything about it without Alex or Amelia's consent. "If you're done with the plates, please give them to me to wash up, since I'm already here."

Holly was about to say soemthing, but her silence agreed with Richard. She looked at her plate and stood to take it to Richard. "Thank you." She said softly before leaving the room, giving a glance over her shoulder at Rei before she rounded the corner.
Ivy was stunned he mentioned that high of a price. No way would she cost him that much. She went through the racks carefully before actually making a decision. She knew she'd need clothes that weren't confining and she wouldn't mind getting dirtied up a bit. So she settled for two pairs of jeans, a pair of shorts, two sleevless shirts, and two shirt sleeved shirts. When she looked at the clothes in her hands and thought of the other girls living with her, she grabbed another pair of jeans and a pack of underwear and socks. She mentally added it all up and it ended up to only be $195. She smiled with triumph at her bargin finds. But frowned when she looked down and saw her tattered shoes. She shook her head and decided to ignore them.

Richard nodded his head as he took Holly's finished plate of spaghetti to wash in the sink. He started slowly, thinking about the day's events then focused back onto scrubbing the plates and utensils clean.

Manji pulled some stuff of the rack a few singlets a few pairs of loose fitting pants and a couple T-shirts. Nothing he grabbed could be considered stylish it was all just utilitarian stuff that would survive some wear and tear and wouldnt restrict his shapeshifting. Along with that he grabbed a few pairs of boxers and a can of deoderant by the counter dumping it all in a big pile gestured for Ivy to come over.

Ivy went over to the counter and dumped her load with Manji. She saw the deoderant Manji had grabbed and took two femine cans for her and ther other girls. She smiled at the cashier who looked at the pile of clothes with near disgust.

The cashier began ringing things up uncerimoniously cramming it in bags one after the other, Manji fixed him with a stare that he had often used to intimidate and unnerve. The cashier picked up the pace and had everything bagged pretty quickly "thats $325 and 75 cents" he said, Manji pulled out the wad of cash seperating several bills he dropped $350 on the counter "Keep the change" He said taking all the bags off the counter and turning to leave.
Jack pulled upto the gate at the labs in the agents car he gave his name and he was waved through he drove in and pulled the car into an empty space. He reached into the back seat and pulled out the young agent "C'mon mate, wakey wakey we've got work to do" he said hoisting him to his feet "Now wheres this doctors office then eh?" he asked the young agent looked close to dead as he lead the way into the labs.

Ivy grabbed her bags and followed after Manji. "So, are we going to go find a gun shop now or what?" She was slightly smiling--she felt good being with Manji.

"No I should be fine, Besides we should really get back to the others soon" Manji said he wanted to continue being alone with Ivy but he felt an unusual vibraion in the air, something bad was coming.

"Alright, I'm okay with that." Ivy smiled, only partly lying. The night felt crisp and the city gave the air a lively buzz. She had never felt like that before and it made her want to giggle, but she kept quiet instead. As they walked back to their hide-out Ivy suddenly burst out, "Have you ever cared for someone other than family before?" She didn't even think about it before it slipped out of her lips.

Manji looked at Ivy for a moment before taking a deep breath to steady himself "Once, when I was in the labs there was a girl" he said looking down. "She was in the same ward as me under a different series of experiments" he continued involentarily clenching his fist "When the experiments first started to affect my brain and I had my first attack-" he stopped almost seeming to choke on his words. "She was to close they diddnt put me down quick enough the last I saw of her she was being dragged away leaving a long trail of blood" he said closing his eyes to hold back tears.

Ivy immediately regretted asking. She stuffed her fist to her mouth and bit her knuckles as tears swarmed her eyes for him. She whispered, "I'm sorry." She watched the ground as she walked, trying to blink back the tears. She hadn't ever cared for anyone outside of her family, but she decided not to tell Manji that--it wasn't right at the moment.
