Myles leans back again in the seat of his autogyro and snoozes.
Meanwhile, the golden clank approaches Alexandriaeveindigosharp and looks curiously at Ava's goggles. It then looks down at the fore panel of its own left shoulder where the golem's eye sits behind protective bars. The panel raises up and holds itself in front of one of the clank's empty mask eyes, leaving an uncovered space in the shoulder. The space inside is empty, like a suit of armor.

"You are a fighter pilot? But you are so..." She didn't want to say small, or young. A moment passed, and Alexandria glanced at the goggles again before tearing her eyes away. "I really must get some one day.." she thought. "Oh, the captain...I'm terribly sorry, but I've just boarded this ship myself actually, looking for passage, or employment if possible. Perhaps we could seek out the captain together? This ship is frightfully large..." She voice trailed over as the clank approached. Alexandria shuttered, as she had never seen a real clank before today, and the golem's single eye was something in itself. Her grey eyes flitted over Ava's clothing, and then at the hall they were standing in. "Perhaps I overdressed a touch..."

[corridor, very close to the hold]
The dark elf looked around, trying to find where the walking sound came from. Nothing. She slighty chuckled at herself.
"It must be the atmosphere. It must be messing with my extremely keen senses. It's not my fault", she concluded, her nasal voice sounding a tad more cheekier.
She then continued to walked to the hold. She then saw two ladies, one wearing red skirts and another clad with trousers. Next to them was standing what seems to be a golden giant.

[near the bridge] Hearing the booms he and his pet races towards the sounds. Really he shouldn't be running in his condition, but damn it all he needed directions to get to the third level of the ship so he can find a cabin.

Alexandria raised a gloved hand to fiddle with a curl that had been tickling her ear from a few minutes now, when a figure appeared around the corner. The first thing she noticed was the prominent nose, then very odd coloured skin. "Hello?" She called hesitantly over Ava's shoulder.

[crew/passenger deck corridor] yousha set off down the corridors, heaving his large sack of contraptions down the corridor.. he began searching for a room, he had remembered what the captain had said earlier about picking a room.
he kept on knocking on doors and checking them if they were locked or full of clutter, ever getting closer to the small gathering in the centre of the corridor.

The figure got closer of Ava. It was a short, dark elven lady wearing highly decorated sun goggles, blouse and high-heeled boots as well as an underbust corset, baggy cargo trousers tucked in her boots and too much accessories for a proper lady to wear. She walked, her enormous appendage nearly pointing the ceiling, then stopped and slowly bowed her head, revealing an oddly shaped stick ornated with rusted brass and old, ornated wood on her back.
"Good greetings to you, ladies and... whatever you may be", she started with her vain, nasal voice. "My name is Martha Narcisser and I was looking for employment elsewhere. The place where I have worked before was not as... proper as I thought."

(( The golden clank isn't huge. Five foot four at most. ))
Triskadeca peers curiously at the newcomer. It leans a little closer, and then scrunches the panels on the sides of its head to stick out all pointy-like for a moment. Then they flatten out again and the golden clank extends a hand, saying in its harp-like voice, "Hello."

after long deliberation, yousha finally found and picked a rom that suited him, right next to the stairs to the lower deck to the hold, he thought it would be convenient to be near his new toy too.
he shut the door behind him and locked it. He tipped his giant sack upside down to let all the junk like objects fall out.
a brass cube bounced off the floor and alienated itself from the pile. yousha's keen eyesight noticed it almost instantly and he pounced on it like an excited chimp.
he picked it up and examined it, unlike the other ones its spring was missing.. "huh? wheres its spri-" "Wha!" he suddenly realised what had happened and threw the bomb away from him and further into his cabin, it landed on the bunk and the contraption combusted. BOOM there was no flame, but instead a large puff of white smoke and a chaotic shockwave that took yousha from his feet and sent him flying through the locked cabin door, breaking it down and sending him against the far wall of the corridor.
"aahhhhooww...boomer-" he grunted as he fell onto the stairs and clumsily tumbled down them into the hold. after reaching the bottom he lay sprawled on his back in the 'starfish position', his mouth gaping wide open, the dark shade of his goggles leaving it clueless to tell if his eyes were open or closed..

Alexandria nodded, taking in the elven woman's appearance. What was on her back? "I'm beginning to think I should see if this ship would take me on as an employee as well..." She said slowly, eyes downcast for a moment before looking up again, "Would you happen to know if the captain is in need of a Cartographer?"

((OCC: Does that make Myles 5'4" too? Anyway, Martha is short too, maybe 5'1" and the fact that Triskadeca is was all golden-coloured made it seem bigger, as far as I know.))

Martha jumped as soon as she heard the loud sound.
"Egads! What was that noise?" she asked, trembling.

"Small..." Ava mentally added in a sigh to the end of Alexandria's sentance. She had expected it but still, she hoped everyone on this ship wasn't going to think of her a child. Ava had been about to reply with an assertion of her competence and an enthusiastic agreement to go look for the captisn together when the elven woman had made her apperance. And what an apperiance it was! Even for a dark elf this woman was something. Ladies in finery were something new to her, but the other creatures that inhabited their odd world were all part of her experiance from her racing, and messenger flights. The second explosion didn't catch Ava quite so much by suprise as the first one. "Don't worry, I believe they are just testing the canons." Ava assured the elf. "I'm Ava Gearwright, it's pleasure to meet you." She halfbowed in greating.

Martha turned around to where the sound came from. She then saw a tan, filthy-looking man lying on the floor.
"So, is there a reason why that man is on the floor?" she asked again, beginning to think that this ship is a tad too weird for her taste.

[third level/near Yousha's cabin]
He dashes towards the explosion he just recently heard and groans in pain as he feels the aftershocks coming from it. Turning a corner he sees the sprawled Yousha and the smoke coming out of his room.
"What in god's name happened here? And...do you know where we are?" He offers his hand to help him up as his pet sniffs the smoking door on the ground. "I'm sort of ....Lost."
