"Farewell indeed, Friend"

Knowing that Inferno has now chosen his path. He has let Dom overtake him. He was indeed saying goodbye to his long lost friend. Inferno was no more in his eyes. which means that there is no reason for kite to hold back any longer. Drawing his sword once more Kite could now fully feel the hunger his blade was feeling, the excitement in the air as the powers collided. This would decide it. touching his forehead he said one final prayer for his lost friend inferno. as once again his blindfold reappeared on his head blocking out his sight. unable to look at the person standing in front of him. He griped his sword and pointed it at Dom.

"Farewell indeed..."

Kite held up his sword across his body holding it with both hands. channeling his energy into it as it formed a shield to hold back the coming explosion. a true test of who's power was stronger. The oncoming blast of molten plasma collided with his spirit shield. his sword holding back the molten ball enveloped itself in the heat. absorbing a nice portion of the blast as it explodes. the rest of the blast finds itself dissipating around kite leaving him a bit singed but on the whole untouched. the Blade of his sword was now hot to the touch. filed to the brim with the bulk of the explosion that just occurred. Quick to recover Kite felt the flaming dragon charge at him. holding his ground he let the dragon take him. and with a smile on his face as the dragon exploded. but just as soon as it did Kite released the energy the sword had absorbed in its own explosion coming from kites body itself. the two forces at equal ends left Kite standing there, winded. but ok. raising his sword again his hand outstretched as he touched his blade. Charging at dom He raisis his hand summoning ice once again from the earth, but not pointed at Dom, no moving toward kite himself. as they reached him they stuck to his body. creating an armor of earth and ice. then taking to the sky he jumped. the oncoming storm Kono had summoned earlyer finally reaching its peak. with a smile Kite thanked Kono for this storm. as lightnight began to strike the ground all around them. a few bolts actualy hitting Kite charging the ice rock and earth around him. now a ball of elements Kite hurled himself toward Dom, with the elements of the earth at his side. he aimed for dom's arm. slashing sideways at him. as the ice, earth and electricity would surround him as well. making escape a very painful alternative.

Kite knew very well what contact with the beam would bring. But still knowing this, he was unwilling to let this stop him. not fully withdrawing his attack he managed to move so that the beam would not hit him head on. instead it just manage to hit his left leg and arm.while his sword disabled Inferno's left arm as well. falling to the ground in pain as the beam hit him. the elements surrounding Kite quickly fell away, leaving it scatted on the ground around them. Kite quickly regressed into himself to escape the pain. Again the change overtook him. his hair turning blue. signifying that Kono was now in control. With his dark heart kono was able to hold back the pain. his arm and leg still badly wounded but he was still mobile. he looked up at Dom with a look of triumph in his eyes. for Dom would not be able to come out of that undamaged.

"You had your time Kite. and you served well. now. I have my score to settle as well." Kono said to himself, gathering up his strength once again for Dom's next attack.

this was not the first time Kono had seen Inferno's chaos beam.. Kono knew its course of action, and so had Kite, Kite being hit with the beam itself was most affected by it.while true they shared one body. it was not always so. they had split once. and they could split again. this was the death for one of them. but it did not need to be the death of them both. Kite and Kono both knew this. And the choice had been made.

"Wipe that smirk off your face Dom. this will not be my end. Kite Sacrificed himself so that you will die along with him. And I don't intend to disappoint Kite by not holding up my end of the bargain."

Kono looked down at the sword kite had dropped. the one that had finally tasted the blood it had hungered for for so long.. and reached down to pick it up. it had been the first time that he had held it. Kite had always taken it with him when he changed. as kono had taken the dagger. never had one of them had both weapons at the same time until now. Kite gave everything for this. and left their future in Kono's hands. Kono held Kites sword in one hand. and His dagger in the other. ready to take on Dom one final time.

"Come Dom. let us finish this like men."

"As we both do right now as well."

Kono reminded Dom about the outcome of this battle. with a smile on his face. the storm still raging on about them more fierce then ever as if the world itself was mourning Kites inevitable passing. calling once again to the elements that had helped Kite were now under Kono's control the what remains of the shattered armor on the ground rose up again coming when called. joined by more forces as it repairs itself. holding up his sword pointing it at Dom he gathers both his and kites energy into the sword. stronger than ever. and ironic twist. seeing as how their powers are now combined, while they will now be forever separated. it was a quick flash of light as the energy exploded from the tip of the sword. hurling toward Dom. under control of Kono this blast would not rest until it had found its mark.
