There's no way diplomacy is going to work with him, and it's not like he can just give back the town anyway.
The only thing we can do right now is continue to grow. I know it sucks, and it pisses me off, but he could probably take out our entire alliance single-handedly.
So we need to just focus on growth, with this in mind, so one day we can simply erase him from the game.

I posted this in the guild but I'll repost it here Quote: In light of recent event I seriously urge everyone to take time out of expansion and vastly increase your army. Especially those of us with 9 and 15wheaters. I know I'm probably going to increase all of Nisroc's wheat fields to at least 10 and make as many units that I need to get my wheat production back down to 500/hr~. Most of you already know this but make sure you increase your city walls and invest in an armory. Both are a serious help, a palace/residence also increases the villages defense.

Both are a serious help, a palace/residence also increases the villages defense. *sigh* And none of it will do any good if the aggressor shows up with twice the men you have, 50+ rams, and 199 catapults to take your Residence out in one attack... and then follows it with a triple shot of Senator attacks. The only way I can think of to support an army that size is to literally build four cities in a block right on top of each other: three that're defended but do nothing else beyond generating wheat to go to the #4 spot. Number 4 has the Army From Hell stationed in it to spring this sort of attack. The force that hit me was 5156 wheat/hour to maintain. I just did the math. That's not counting the Barracks, Stable, Rally Point and Siege Workshop required to make them. I get the crawls just thinking about it. Either Belrias -lives- in Travian, or he's using a third-party bot program to do the wheat transfers.

His main force came from Juniper, a 15wheater with a pop of 902. It goes without saying that he has his wheat fields at lvl15 2 double wheat oasis and a single wheat oasis.
I wouldnt be surprised if he didnt even attack you with his full force, maybe 1/2 of it because THAT is the power of a 15wheat capital and why I and many other people covet them.

I didn't mean simply in being a go between, I was looking for a plan to support this. I seem to have heard one via an IGM from Arc which echoes something I had planned anyway, the main issue being organising such a thing. Realistically, we'd really benefit from having an offshoot with 20-30 people in addition to those in the main to fully capitalize on the idea.
Currently i'm balancing between expansion and upgrading my army to it's limits.

Hrm. My 'What the ********?!' message Why? To my knowledge there's never been any hostilities between us; to be so brutally attacked overnight without any sort of provocation is puzzling. Why? ... was answered... Belrias the ******** a*****e citystealer I like booty so much I should've been a pirate! Ye been boarded matey! All your resource are belong to us! Ahhhrrrr pass me bow again, ye get the broadside! Ask ye matey sephiroth about the fates of his scouts! Ye scout, ye ask for war! ... which just makes me angrier than ever.

1. He's an asshat who should be chemically castrated 2. Scouts -ARE- considered an act of war. Seph should have known this so he's partly to blame, though Belrias did take things out of hand not only by STEALING a city but taking Seph's act of war out of you.

If we actually plan on finding a spot to all settle in then I'll hold off on building my next village.
Though I am -slightly- biased in saying we should have it in the SE corner near myself and Balc :3.

I have no real say one way or the other, though the Teutonic FAIL that is merchants riding snails will mean that wherever we do pick it, my own growth will be dependant upon there being farms within relative proximity to the 7x7.
And i'm not letting this hold me back, as I got the go-ahead to settle another 9c that's actually not far from my capital. I'll just throw some extra resources into a daily small party to build up culture points if need be.

After discussion with Arc last night, I'm trying to find a handful of other spots that would be viable. I'm not home at the moment; when I get there I'll resume my hunt.
