xD Aw. With all this marriage stuff it's making me remember that my mother is TRYING TO MAKE ME MARRY SOME BOY I KNEW IN /PRESCHOOL/.

Youko, that's terrible about your dog. Okay, I really cannot say "I know how you feel" because it is hard for me to feel kinship with anybody and anything, especially animals. But I do know of something similar when my uncle had a cat that got cancer and nobody had the money to pay for anything for her. So we just had to kind of...let her die. Of the cancer. Nobody even went to get her euthanized. And, though I admit I really did not get along with this cat (she was the cat that instilled in me a fear of all cats) I still thought it was really heartless to just let the cancer devour her. Kinda made me mad at everybody. And afraid of what would happen if I got really sick.
So...I can sympathize in a way. Good luck with her. And I say that you shouldn't try to remain close to your friend. Maybe she has some problems of her own that are driving her to act that way which she doesn't want to talk about. But to save you from her coldness, you should go to your other friends if you need to talk to someone. Put some distance between you and her and it'll be a lot of good for you.
But Ume, the spikes are the end-all be-all of my outfit. I go plenty of places without makeup ('cause my mom's with me and she'd have a fit if she saw me in makeup) but the spikes? NUUUU. I'll do without the makeup but never the spikes. crying
There is one problem with the museum arrangement that "friend" and I need to overcome. The thing will be open, like, all day. According to something I saw in the paper about it (newspapers are lovely for finding info about stuff, no?) they only want a certain number of people in the exhibit at a time. And they're going to use a specific method to eforce this. They estimate that it takes about 90 minutes to get through the exhibit. And though they say they won't rush people through...I dunno. I mean, if we slowed down yet kept moving, we could probably stretch it out to about two hours. But who knows he'd be there within that two hours? And who knows if he'll be coming in way later than we get there? And who knows if we'll miss him? It's supposed to be pretty crowded, and I've noticed that people all seem to move at the same pace through them.
Hmm. This could be a challenge to capture the elusive Winslowclone. stare
Also, I have this horrible, sneaky little trick which I may play if we meet him. If all goes right it shall 1. Get me the guy (with a bit of further manipulation of the situation) and 2. Get back at "friend" for betraying me in the past (see, this whole tension thing between us kinda goes back. Remember the girl who had to go to her precious concert so badly that she basically said "Screw your sweet sixteen, I'm gonna have me some fun!" ? Same person. And that's not the whole of it either.)
This trick would involve me saying to Winslowclone "Uhm. Hi. She wanted me to meet you. She was going to set us up together or something." Which would play out with her getting mad at me, maaaybe him getting mad at her, and perhaps with him and me teaming up against her. Plays out very much like another battle that cause a rift in my friendship to her.
But I dunno. I guess I'll have to gauge how safe this maneuver is. See, I don't value my frienship to her. I'm just going to get her to get me in contact with Winslowclone and it would be over anyway for the most part. I'm sick of her. But the biggest problem is that my plans don't usually...er...go according to plan. So I'll have to think about the risks as well. Whaddu you guys think?
Oh yeah, I'm a nasty little b***h when crossed.
And if I don't execute this plot or if she doesn't get mad at me if I do (though I can't see why the hell she wouldn't. She's as obsessed with him as I am) after we're done with this whole escapade in search of this guy...I'm gonna have a little heart-to-heart talk with "friend" here about how she's ******** up her life. Make that more like a claw-to-heart talk. I'm gonna tell her what a ******** I think she's been and basically rant about everything she's done to inspire my anger as well as screw up her life. Or maybe, if above plot is carried out successfully, I'll add this part about what a terrible "friend" she's been in front of him. But that depends. Either way, I'm going to tell her and it'll be up to her whether or not to change. I doubt she will, but still. I'm going to give her a tiny bit of elbow room if she decides to.
Homan, I sound like such a conniving evil thing. But I really don't feel that (despite what friendship we had before) I will let her get away with all this s**t she's pulled on me. She's gone too far this time.

Aw, Alexis, I'm sorry your friend turned into such a biatch. You really don't need someone like her in your life anyway. Those kinds of girls just really piss me off. The princessy girls who think they're better than everyone else. Girls like that made my life a living hell when I was younger. You really don't need closed-minded people like her around you. I hope your plan goes well. At this point, I guess it doesn't really matter if she gets pissed off at you. It sounds like your friendship with her is already coming to an end, even if she doesn't get mad at you.
You must get your Winslowclone! It seems like you have every right to be "a nasty little b***h" to that girl. She doesn't sound like she's been a particularly good friend to you.

Youko-chan, I'm really sorry about your dog! gonk That sounds absolutely horrible! And that was just inexcusably rude of your friend to slam the phone down like that. She shouldn't take her problems out on you.
And Moocat, are you serious? You have my condolences.
Anyway, I would write something journal-ish, but I don't really have anything to write at the moment sweatdrop .

Omg Alexis! That dragon is awesome!
Ume loves dragons, and is quite a**l about how dragons look. But that... is awesome... I just cant think of any other word but awesome at the moment.

Shiny dragons are good.
I draw dragons waay too much. But they're fun.
I can draw dragons and people. All other subjects I either do not care about to draw them on my own or am suck-tacular at. (Thanks for addicting me to that word, Roze.)
Haha, I'm pretty a**l about how dragons look myself. "That wing is way too small to fly with! How the hell is it gonna get the dragon off the ground?!" I can be pretty bad.
And don't even get me going on dragon sizes. People make them waaay too big. Mine are about three to four feet at the shoulder and about six feet at the eye. And around 20 feet long. Very lightly built and therefor delicate. So they're fast and poisonous. They don't breathe fire, though.
Man, I'm too scientific about this stuff.
I have a whole division of dragons called Novar'ra and they are my babies. Along with the shadow fey, of course. But I usually only draw aveurai-ai dragons (the fuzzy brown-gray kind). I'm working on some more pics and if you guys want, I could scan 'em and post 'em. I still need to ink 'em, though. *Needs money for pens badly* *Still owes herself, like, 17 bucks*

omg that reminds me of my 8th grade year. We were in the band room, having finished the final exam, and our trumpet player, Josh, comes over and asks me if I can draw him something.
So I say yes and ask him what he wants. He tells me a dragon. Now I tell you this and j00 better listen. I cannot draw animals or anything beyond people to save the life I'll end up selling on Ebay. So I hesitantly say yes and begin drawing.
THAT DRAGON LOOKED LIKE A LLAMA WITH SCALES.
Swear to God. I even told him and he didn't care. XD Never have tried since. I just don't find joy in drawing animals. Still life, yes. People, yes. Landscapes, let's talk. But animals? FOOK NO.

Animals are only fun to draw if they're fantasy animals ore they look exceedingly aesthetically pleasing. Otherwise...nope.
But then, the only reason I like animals at all is for their aesthetically pleasing value. Or if they have fierce, dignified tempraments. Otherwise...no. I am not an animal person.
And dragon llamas are cool! My dragons are rougly the size and weight of llamas.
I can draw still lifes without much emotional attachment. I do it for art class all the time. Are they good for learning how to paint? Yes. Is there any joy in drawing or painting them for me? No way. They're just really droll and repetitive.
And as much as I love landscapes, I couldn't draw one if you held a gun to my head...or offered me Winslow. I've tried. Failed mizzzzzerably.
Meh, I only have one dragon pic that's worth showing off right now, actually. But I have some people stuff I could post. (RDS, I know you've seen this stuff 'cause I showed it to you a couple days ago. But I've modified it a bit, so it's a bit more finished than what I gave you. Utakan...I'm pretty sure you've seen the very early version of at least one of 'em, but it's changed a lot since.)
I'll upload and post them later. When I actually have time.

Omigosh I used to draw dragons all the time, I was fond of water dragons or two-legged dragons with no arms but large wings heart
Aww damnit I just finished this gray phantom profile that somebody commissioned...but I can't remember who commissioned me becuase I randomly did one of my mailbox "cleaner-upers" and deleted the damn email gonk Maybe I'll just make it another public accessible one but I feel bad by eternally never giving it to them (after I made her [i remember that much...] wait over two months for it) sweatdrop Which reminds me...I still have to finish all those Utakan pictures O.o
