The Jolly Glomper PyroGod5416 You know you're a band geek when you help your band director write the marching show. It turned out really good too. I wanted to do that...my school administrators are psychotically strict though. At least I managed to get my baby into my senior pictures...(I brought my violin, clarinet, and trumpet)

you know you a band nerd if you've ever backhanded a cheerleader (who happens to be your best friend) for saying cheerleading is a sport but marching band isn't. (guilty)

Happens to me every day. you know your a band nerd if you've never put your instrument in your locker, you carry it everywhere with you. you know your a band nerd if you mom has ever yelled ayt you for spending 3 hours on the internet, talking to your friend(a percussionist) about evil things to do to freshmans on the first day of camp...

RinoaHeartilly You know you're a band geek when stalking the drum major is normal. (just for the record... no, I don't stalk my drum major) XD my drum major is my neighbor lol and you know when you're a band geek when all your friends are in band and just to get the teacher and all those damn preppies pissed off you and your friends sing the whole entire marching show and a few drum candances

You know you're a band geek when:
-You unknowingly march in time while listening to your iPod.
-You have every song from your show on that iPod.
-You were probably listening to a song from that show when you started marching in time.
-You know every word to every song from your show.
-You march to walk faster to get through tight spaces in the hallway at school or elsewhere.
-You have no memories of high school besides the band events.
-You have smacked someone for saying the wrong instrument when asked what you play.
-Your band is your family.
-You have been going steady with that cutie from the clarinet section for almost a year now. *not relevant, don't care*
-Your fellow "bandies" start singing the show with you in the hallways.
-You are on first name terms with anyone involved with anything to do with the band.
-You can name any problem with your halftime show after seeing it on a VHS tape.
-You'd rather spend money on a new mouthpiece than car insurance.
-You've figured out how to play the Crazy Frog, Halo theme, Simpsons theme, Star Wars, etc.
-You can name the instruments playing in any given song.

You know you're a band geek when you and your friends sing your part in the band music from 5:30 in the morning for three and a half hours straight, and then all the way thruogh Six Flags with people looking at you like you're crazy for a good 4 hours.Not to mention every time the teacher walks out of the room for months before and after the concert-yes, we have, and we're proud of it!
Also if you knock your instrument into another instrument and say "i'm sorry,"and the person answers"It's okay," and you say:"actually, I meant your instrument."

You know you're a bando when:
-Just the thought of marhcing music being brought out in a couple of days makes you too excited to sleep.
-When you do sleep, you have dreams about band
-You have ever come home from a long day of band rehearsal (try 9am to 9pm) and found yourself still marking time while brushing your teeth.
-The thought of having to pay to get into any school sporting event pains you
-You enjoy pep band versions of songs more than the originasl versions.
-When hearing a pep band tune in its original form on the radio, you finger your part in the air/on a pencil.

Spurple RinoaHeartilly You know you're a band geek when you subconciously start practicing with a pencil. I do that in class. xd You know you're a band geek when you sit and tap out the rhythms to your band music on your desk... and then get funny looks. xp I don't get funny looks-cuz everyone around me is too!(it's the people who don't that get funny looks) xd

Spurple You know you're a band geek when you don't know the words to your fight song, but you can sing your part to every band song you've ever gotten. (Extra points if your friends can sing their parts with you to the point where it actually sounds like the song. xd ) Friends?just friends?Hell-my whole band can do that!

You know you're a band geek when:
-You cry when your friends quit band for anything (one for drama, another because they wanted to do something else)
-Your Band Director had to drive you home from a concert and all you talked about was next year's band (I'm gonna be in the new super high abnd! *squeals*)
-You've centered your life around band.
-You plan to become a musician.
-When people diss band, you automatically retort with something against them (i.e. Choir can't read music, Orchestra is kinda squeaky (ours is))
-You can play other instruments' parts by ear
-You watch people go across the stage at an Award Ceremony and label every band kid you see with a loud "Band kid!" to prove that band IS better... most of the time.
-If anyone threatens to take away your band because of your grades, they miraculously become A's.
-An oboe and a clarinet are completely different to you.
-You actually know what a bassoon is. (sadly, many people don't!)
-Your Band Director gets tired of hearing your voice.
