Dragonz_luvr  Sarabi awoke suddenly, her long golden body tense with fear and anger. For a moment, she was in the past and the sound of approaching paws were those of one of the brutes that had taken over the pride. Fever burned behind her eyes, unnoticed as she slitted them, poised to leap up and sink her claws and teeth deep into the intruder. A savage growl silently circled in her chest, seeking to bubble up her throat. (( x3 just in case it got lost amid all the posts and OOC))

Taka spied out of the corner of her eyes the interaction between Jasiri and Suku. 'Oh my..' she grinned, making a low growling noise to get Teule's attention. Oh, she knew what was going on all too well. His ears, trained to pick up the familiar sound, head flicking over to her. Taka smirked, jerking her head lightly to the side. Teule took on a curious expression as he followed her gaze. His jaw dropped when he saw both of his friend's maws together. He nearly choked.
Taka scoffed, her face giving off an air of sarcasm as she snickered to herself. Far away her mind drifted, a sudden ripple of expectancy coming over her.
Teule quickly turned away, slightly shy over their actions. What was he to think of that? He knew Jasi was going to find a lion sooner or later. 'Boy, I ve been away a long time..' He hadn't realized how fast they'd grown since he'd been gone; and Jasi was older than him. He smiled meeky to himself. He'd have to fight fighting the urge to protect his 'sister', which is how he viewed her. Always viewed her, since he met her in the desert.
He blankened his mind to the thought before he let the feeling cultivate itself in his mind. Mwali! He hadn't even seen him yet. Teule stood, trotting over to the edge of the water. He watched as a lioness exited the water speedily, a familiar lioness. Koho! So Mwali had finally put the moves on her. He laughed, his little voice now a deeper and mature. He even held momentos of his victories out on the journey: a bone neckalce with the teeth of a hyena strung on it and a band on his forearm painted by Taka herself.
"Ey' Mwali! Jambo, Koho"
Close to the edge of the desert, an oasis was in full bloom. A spring provided the plantlife about it sustenance. A white figure was draped in the plants, large and hulking. A noise emitted from it, a long droning growl. The figure was on it's side; a lion. It was pure white, gold dropping off it neck, ears and a band holding up lock of white falling over his face. The lion's eyes opened, resembling two silver moons. Ivory wings unfolded from his back, wings fluttering and stretching.
"Amka zamani?"

A moment passed by before the adolescent got to his feet slowly, had she done what he thought she'd done? She had, hadn't she? She'd actualy kissed him!
His violet eyes watched her run of, his creamy mane and chocolate pelt mingled with a beautiful orange and deep pink of the coming sunset, a slow smile forming his maw before he bounded after her.
As he caught up he felt the red jewel against his large chest, beating steadily against his rapid heart that seemed to threaten him with bursting out of his chest at any moment.
That's why he had been feeling strange around Jasi', he had an infatuation, but he couldn't have chosen a better girl to have it on.
The smile seemed permanently on his maw before he slowed down and trotted to the female's side, his light violet eyes looking deeply into her deep purple ones...no fooling, she was beautiful.

((Sorry guys @-@ The guild went for so long without anyone posting here that i just kinda got depressed and quit looking everyday. sweatdrop
And of course Angie, not real big need to ask, I'm always open for pms :3 ))
-Having lost his sister, Mufasa stepped cautiously along the pride rocks, padding towards the cave. Perhaps she hide there ready to jump out? Grinning furiously he began to make his way forward only to be stopped by the familar growl. Ears twitching he quickly forgot the game, pressing his way into the cave and immediately back to the area that his mate had choosen so long ago as they're resting spot.
Shuddering softly in relief, as he realized she simply dreamed, he lowered his muzzle against her gently, becoming concerned again as the waves of heat rose from her body.- "Sarabi..? Dearest..?" -No. No! Of all he'd lost in the pride due to that stupid plague.. not his mate... not Sarabi...-
-Closing his eyes in soft misery he nuzzled her worriedly placing an affectionate lick delicately along her cheek, hoping she'd wake.-

All the tension went out of the golden body in a rush. "Mufasa..." Sarabi whispered, opening her eyes and turning her head to touch his. "I... dreamed of something terrible. This fever is taking its time letting go of me." She sighed as she lay there, feeling hot and cold at the same time. But beyond that feeling was a new one, familiar yet strange, that she had felt once before. Could it be? A tiny smile flickered aross her face as her gaze turned inward. Well, animals always know, don't they? wink

-Another soft smile of relief touched him as her eyes fluttered open, and he settled carefully alongside her, leaning lovingly against her, to try to share some of her heat and lower her fever.- "Don't worry dearest.. I won't let anything happen to you. I promise"
-Running his tongue gently against her neck, he glanced up lightly.-
"Do you think resting in the watering hole might help?"

(( lol. haven't heard anything quite yet *crosses fingers* Oh, and if anyone is confused, me and Iris are going to breed Sarabi and Mufasa! xd Just need the reply from Mkodi.)) Sarabi focused outward again and smiled. "Yes, that might be nice. I need to get up anyway and move around." She sighed as she rose, deciding to keep her lips closed over her secret for the moment. Already the fever seemed to be subsiding, and her movements were strong and sure.

-Standing as well he began to follow, near enough to try to help her if her steps faltered, Mufasa gave his mate a gentle smile. No need to worry her right now about the things going on around them, they could wait for her to feel better. She always had been, and always would be, his number one priority.-

 Mwali had found the muddy bottom of the waterhole before Koho's bulk had added its weight to his own. Not that it was too much for him to handle it was just slightly unexpected. He walked slowly but surely along the bottom of the river, allowing Koho to ride his back to the shore where he slowly and carefully lowered himself to allow her off. Giving her an apologetic look as she returned herself to the ground he lifted up once again to give a soft lick to her cheek, "I was just playing with you, Koho... I'm sorry if you didn't appreciate it." He really was sorry, he'd never do anything that would make her angry on purpose... even on accident he'd feel horrid about it for some time. Stepping back from her -as not to hit her with the spray- he shook himself off, wave after wave of water shot from his thick crimson mane and body. After a good shake-down he sat himself on his hind legs and began licking his fur smoothe. A little white dot soon approached the group, his ears perked upwarrds at the firmilar figure.
"Teule, little brother, I've not seen you around much." He reached a large velveted paw down to scoop the cub up from his underbelly, bringing him into an awkward lion-hug. "Don't be a stranger, we were getting ready to leave. I'd have hated to leave you and Taka behind. Remember you're supposed to be keeping me safe." He chuckled and returned the cub to his paws and his tounge to his fur, trying to get everything back into place. Not that he was vain, it was just bloody uncomfortable to have his fur wet and spiking out in every direction.

Teule gasped at a bit at the damp hug, laughing into his fur. When he was released he shook off a bit, lossening the somewhat matted ivory fur. He plopped down on his rear, letting his hind legs stand up straight.
"True, but I was out training. Besides you have Koho now, hehe."
Taka ambled off the branch, drifting over to the red lion. She gave a cocked knowing smile at Mwali then Koho. She sat next to Teule which showed how much he had grown; once he had only been half her fore leg now he was almost to her shoulder. The little brute frowned, furrowing his brows and blowing tufts of hair out of his face

Jasi watched as Suku came up next to her, the stars shining overhead and a light breeze blowing against her face. She smiled at Sukutu, admiring his creamy brown mane, and his violet eyes. She slowed as they came to a small decline, and with a sly smile she pounced on Suku, sending them both rolling down the grassy hill to the bottom. She got up from the bottom, laughing, and making sure Suku was ok. Then, she pounced on him again, gnawing effectionelty on his ear.

He let out a small 'oof' sound as they rolled down the hill, staying on his back as he let Jasiri knaw on his ear, he looked at her beautiful face before he leaned up and licked her cheek softly, kissing her cheek.
His violet eyes then looked into her deep indigo orbs, smiling softly as he felt his heart beat very deeply in his chest, he felt like saying something, something to this wonderful female, who he'd known since being a pre-teen, but what?
Then the words slowly, but surely made their way out of his throat.
"Jasiri...I...I love you..."
He had to blink numerously, thinking he had somehow gone deaf and not heard himself as he said these words, but they where true, he knew that now, he'd known it for a long time.
