I'm dead convinced it's Gamera.

Just saw Cloverfield. It was freaking amazing. I really liked how they did it all from a personal camera. Made it much more real.

Note to any prospective viewers: Don't go out and have a few beers beforehand. Not awesome.

I went on an empty stomach and I still started to feel queasy about half way through. It helped to have some popcorn on hand and close my eyes for a few minutes during one of the running scenes. I didn't miss plot and I got to settle my stomach.

I'm avoiding that one. The "realistic" jerky camera gimmick is enough to keep me away. I hate quick cut directing and jerky cameras. I want to see what's going on.

Saw Cloverfield. Good movie, and I liked how it didn't explain anything. There's something endearing about an unrepentant giant monster movie. And the way this one represented itself, I didn't get annoyed bythe lack of an explanation or anything like that. It made sense, for what the movie was.

That said, I was so bored with the humans until the monster showed up.

Juno, on the other hand? Absolutely wonderful. Seen it three times in the theater and am already anxious for it to come out on DVD.

I haven't decided, though, if it's because it's actually a good movie, or if it's because I have a horrible crush on both Michael Sera and Ellen Page and any movie featuring a soundtrack of almost entirely Moldy Peaches/Kimya Dawson stuff is awesome.

Plus, they were singing a Hole song. Always nice to see them get a little love.

there another movie out there much like Diary of the Dead, from the UK, called Zombie Diaries both look awsome, but at the same time might make people motion sick.

TO SEE OR NOT TO SEE

Meet the Spartans, i'm in debat on if i should see this movie, because on one hand it look pretty funny, but on the other hand it look just like Date Movie or Epic Movie, in that they only show the funniest parts in the previews.

but still, to see or not to see

I"m personally sick of these types of movies. I get annoyed every time I see a preview for a movie like this so I'm going to have to go with NOT.
