She put her gasmask over face and looked through the red lens. She turned on the burner and easily measured the water. Placing in the four Aloe leaves the Aloe water was soon done. Olivia shut off the burner and looked for a bowl. She began grinding up the mint leaves until it couldn't be seen as leaves anymore but powder. Olivia placed the bowl aside and began mixing the sap with the drool. She took a small stick and mixed it in a little before adding in the Aloe water and grinded mint leaves. Now she was mixing until everything was beginning to start getting a bit thick. ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ xx xx xx x

Axel Minami Hm... I expected more
Axel was now heating his cup of Aloe water over one of the bunsen burners. Being him he had already grounded up his mint leaf and had it ready to add to it's mixture. All that was needed was for this water to get hot and then for it to get cool, and then he would pour some of it into a mixture that would make it sort of neat. After he was done, he waited for it to cool and then looked back to his doodle and then back at the board, checked his measurements again, and then he proceeded with caution and began to mix and noticed its subtle changes in the feel of it.

Zali nodded as the vampire explained herself, his wooden face blank as it ever was, but from his posture one could guess that he was smiling. "thats quite allright dear. Better safe than sorry is a good philosophy to have when dealing with potentially dangerous plants" he said looking over at the Hawktrap. He had been starving the thing for several days to get it to produce enough drool for the lab, but he couldn't help but feel kind of bad for it. He reached out and took the raw meat he had teased it with earlier and tossed it to it. The plant greedily snapped the meat out of the air and its jaws sealed shut as it began to digest it.
miss Ivy raised an eyebrow at her request, but shrugged it off seeing kids allways seemed to like giving themselves weird nicknames. "well its not what I'd have picked for ya but if thats your name thats your name. Very well, Miss Boost" she said with a small smile.

Axel became so into looking at the plant eat the meat that he had not noticed that he had finished with the cream. When had he finished? He didn't really know. Some other students were not done yet so he did the best thing he could do. He placed his finished product on his desk, neat and presentable, and then began to fall asleep with his eyes open.

When the video ended Eclipse was frowning as she tapped her foot as she observed the room. "Alright Alright I'm sorry this isn't as up to date with yall's technological uses and videos but jeez you all act like this is the most boring thing in the world," she shook her head hearing a cough. "History, everyone has one and that's the point of that video -alright alright it was to bore you all to death...are you dead yet? NO! History is an art form, a way to identify one's hardships,why they act like that, why they dress like that. Quick answer me this; as you can see I'm not very fond of those fancy reinacment videos you most have used in other schools, I used a memory strand strip basically the witness of Damon's speech. How old do you recon I am? Really in my early 20s? What don't be shy," she chuckled quietly. Her, childhood side was showing and she really wished she could get into contact with one of her scholar friends. "How about this, once you answer I can give you your homework assignment and trust me, it won't be that boring- I hope"
Segarus blinked as she looked down in embarrassment. She had drifted off to dream land and this time it was really noticable. "Professor Birch...what are we doing now?" she whispered quietly. She looked down under the table wondering if she had permission to rewind and relisten to what he said now...

"They say an ounce of honey is worth cup of vinegar....."
Camory broke out of his small fit of depression as the snake girl from earlier came running into class late again. "she's sure late alot huh?" he thought, but his attention was stolen by the teacher as she began lecturing them, pretty harshly to. Camory tried to do his best, he simply couldn't comprehend anything the video said, in the end he was horrible at learning stuff like this. If they were step by step instructions or a recipe he'd be just fine, but pretty much anything but that flew over the boy's head. As she continued to berate the class Camory shrunk back in his seat, tearing up a bit in his usual goofy way. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry" he mentally repeated. When she asked them to guess her age he cocked his head to the side, confused by the question. She looked really young, and he couldn't imagine her being over 30. He looked around the class room and slowly rose his hand timidly. "ummm...28?" he said, having been raised to never call a woman old, even if it sounded like a trick question.

Basili glanced up in amazement as the teacher didn't even seem to notice her standing there, as she seemed to be in the middle of lecturing the class. The snake girl smiled and immediately slipped into the closest chair she could find, as quietly as she could. "oh don't tell me I got off scot free" she thought, an enthusiastic smile on her face at her small victory. She had been so distracted by the fact she had gotten away with being late that she wasn't even paying attention to what the teacher was saying.

The Rogin let out a small sigh at Segarus's question. "please try to stay more engaged Ms. Segarus. I know Herbology might not be your favorite subject, but I do atleast try to make it somewhat entertaining" he said. To answer her question he reached out and tapped the board. "this is a list of ingredients needed to make a special skin cream using Venis Drool, I have allready placed the ingredients and measuring materials on your desk. You have until the end of class to finish it." he explained.

Eclipse was making a circle gesture with her finger when she heard Camory's answer. A black swallowtail butterfly fluttered on Basili's desk and slowly turned into mist, the message was seen only by Basili. " Basili Tenmaru, princess or not, you aren't getting off easily. ". Eclipse glanced over at Basili as she waited for the young girl's reaction. "Now don't go asking around my fellow facilty members how old they are, I only reveal my personal information because it's my history. 5,000 years ago I lost my ruling right when the Frost Kingdom was annhilated. A bloody mascarre assured the deaths of my beloved parents. I'm forever frozen as a 23 year old? Why? Because my History of my genetics allowed it. My father, Ryo was a Fallen Demonic prince of Hell while my mother, Valaria was a lycan and frost demon who reclaimed the throne bringing the Frostline back into order." she explained, her voice was softer, the slight pain and sadness of the little girl in her was showing. "Because I'm aware on how much distaste you all have when it comes to history; I decided to give this little project that would span for a few weeks. You and a partner shall presentate each other's history, what makes them who they are. Be creative, find out where they are from. Where their parents warriors? Merchants? Someone who struggle to survive? This should be a History assingment you would enjoy I mean after all- if you don't do it, you would be required to endure more of my "old fashion videos without color and graphics," she chuckled quietly. "Any questions now?"
Segarus bit her bottom lip in embarrassment as she tried to focus on the ingredients list. She closed her eyes in horror as she tried to hide her struggling to read the list. Gently she placed her head on her desk and groaned. This was not her day. Professor Birch? I have a personal matter...my father did inform this issue to you last summer correct ?" she hesitantly asked really quiet. She was bright red hearing on of her classmates snicker.

Camory dropped his head down when Ms. Dogwood gave her real age. "I'm sorry" he muttered, feeling defeated by this entire class. He couldn't stay vested in the video, he couldn't take legible notes, he couldn't even answer questions correctly. As she talked about being the princess of something called the Frost Kingdom, something he bet all the cool supernatural students understood, he couldn't help but feel completely out of place. It wasn't often he felt like this, infact he hadn't really felt that way since joining the Disciplinary Committee, but it did pop up again from time to time, it reminded him of his first few weeks here. His ears perked up as she gave out the assignment, though a quick scan of the room told him that the only person there he knew was Asa, but he kinda doubted doing a report on someone who could barely remember anything would be all to fruitful. This feeling of being alone only made him miss Olivia even more. "thats it!" he thought slowly raising his hand. "ummmm is it possible to do this assignment on students outside of this class?" he asked, if he could do the assignment on Olivia not only would he have a garuanteed partner, but then he'd get to learn more about Olivia at the same time, win win.

Basili grimaced as the butterfly landed on her desk and relayed that she hadn't exactly gotten off the hook. Begrudgingly she bowed her head "understood" she whispered, mentally cursing her situation. "dammit. I swear when I get my hands on Melody..." she thought, though she never really intended to harm her even if she was mad. She sighed and shook her head. "she's damn lucky she's so attractive" she thought.

Zali titled his head for a moment, before remembering what she was refering to. 'ah yes ofcourse my apologies" he said heading over to her, so he could help her through the assignment hands on. "first your going to need two cups of the Venis Drool and Spriggan tree sap mixture" he said holding up the beaker of amber liquid and a 1-cup measuring spoon. "simply take two of these and add them to the bowl" he explained, hoping that walking her through verbally would allow her to understand it.

Past students of MCA really questioned was Eclipse Bipolar or not. This was one of those moments. She clasped her hands together as she nodded. "Yes Camry it certainly is. In fact I recommend that because it gives you a variety. Some of you aren't so friendly with each other so this is my way of getting you students to know each other a bit better," she chuckled quietly as well hearing their Snake Princess mutter somethings in defeat.
Ignoring all the soft whispers of students that were done assuming one of the Hazard Squad members was a teacher's pet was much better them knowing what really was her issue. She nodded that she understood the instructions and began to pour and measure the Venis Drool and Spriggan tree sap mixture. Careful with a good amount of care, she combined them together into the bowl. ""I got this..." she mumbled to herself trying to rein in her nerves.

Tosen walked into Mr. Birch's class late, as usual. Although, it was much later than the time he comes in normally. He was already prepared to be scolded. I apologize for my late arrival. I had something to take care of. He explained as he took his corner table, as gloomy looking as ever. Tosen took off his jacket to reveal his rather toned body under a black V-neck and slightly pale arms. His black and gold necklace hung off him. He grabbed a beaker and asked the kid next to him what exactly they were supposed to be doing. He grunted and continued on he grabbed the ingredients, trying his best not to think of Akira. Camory let out a sigh of relief as she let them know it was ok. "thank you very much ma'am. Thats a big relief" he said with an inoccent, yet highly relieved smile. It was odd, but she suddenly seemed to be alot nicer than she was a few seconds ago. It was kinda strange but Camory wasn't about to question it.

Basili sighed at the class assignement given out, and made a quick scan of the room and noticed Asa, perfect. The fact she couldn't remember half the stuff about herself meant she would make for a very easy assignment. "hello partner" she said sitting down beside Asa and smiling at her.

Zali waved Tosen off as he came in and apologized. "don't worry about it, assignment is on the board" he said dismissively before turning his attention back to Segarus. He nodded as she managed to get the first part down. Next he took the mint leaves and the vanillia bean and placed them down infront of her. "next your going to need to mix in 5 ounces of crushed mint, then 2 grams of vanillia bean". he said sliding over the mortar and pestle as well as the 1 ounce measuring spoon. He then ran his finger over the vanillia bean, stopping near the middle, showing her exactly how much of it would add up to two grams.

Squinting her eyes a bit as she concentrated, Segarus skimmed her fingers along the edge of the mortar and pestle as she obtained the right amount of the mint and vanilla beans to be crushed. She didn't question her abilities at this, she just followed her gut as well as her teacher's instructions.
Eclipse waved her hand in a 'no problem' gesture. "I expect you to at least have an idea who will be your partner by the end of today, the rest of class is yours. However, if you had me before you would know the consquences of what happens if you all start acting like caged animals longing freedom" she chuckled quietly at her analogy before sitting down at her desk going through a journal.

"ma'am, I would like for my partner to be Olivia Shatten, Hazard Squad of the Disciplinary Committee"

Zali nodded along as she completed each task competently. "your doing very good Ms. Segarus. now for the trickiest part" he said pushing forward the aloe leaves. "to make the aloe water place four aloe leaves in a cup of water and heat it over the budsen burner for a full minute. Allow it to cool then remove the leaves before adding it into the mixture, remember you only need 1/4 cup of aloe water and this method will produce a full cup, so measure out a 1/4 cup before adding it in" he said pointing out to the 1 cup and 1/4 cup measuring spoons, not sure if her dsylexia effected her ability to read numbers or not.

She looked around to see that a few students were done and their creams look the same as her. She set the bowl of cream and placed all the other measuring utensils aside. She sat down on her desk and wrote down the formula in case she was able to make more of the facial cream. Olivia's mind began wondering around and out of nowhere Camory popped out. She wondered how he was doing. " I wonder if he's being dramatic or something." she thought to herself. Olivia laid her head down and rested her eyes as she waited for everyone else to finish up. ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝xxxxxxx
