The little sneasel would giggle lightly at his thanks. She afterall had nothing to gain from his death, and he had been so nice to her. Of course she would try to help him ...as something would move them in the corner of her eyes and she would turn her head around as she caught a familiar scent.
((Mommy))
She declares as Raven would only hear the normal Sneasel. The little pokemon would struggle then to get loose of him as something would poke it's head from behind a cactus.
A Sneasel female ...whom looked like she was searching frantically for something. A call of something else, Weavile would be a male's voice in the distances as it would seem that he was doing the same.
((Sorry for the short post))

((Tie, but you had to out roll me - Second attempt ...three rolls this time to see who takes the injury))
Claudandas would see it then. The ground shifting from the side ...as it pushes inwards and downwards. They were about to find themselves skewered as the section further away from them, but still inside of the circle fell completely inwards as the dirt would reveal the sharp spikes they were currently perched on.
It was time to move and fast, and if they weren't fastest enough their area of land would fall away and they would each find themselves getting quite a sharp poke for their troubles.
(Those that outroll managed to get to safety, and those that don't find themselves getting the spikes))

It happened in an instant, as the poncho pulled back, the ground began to collapse, Lindbergh let out a sdqueak before she bounced, taking off immediately into the air.
At least flying types were immune to Spikes, but it was still a question of getting out of the way, she didn't even stop to think of the others!
Claudandas bit down, beginning to rush, about turning and moving, calling back to Jasmine. [Move! Move quickly!]
But Jasmine... with the circle opening, looked back at Claudandas... she wouldn't even move, she didn't run, instead, she threw the poncho, with Claudandas running on it, looking to send him out of the circle, she was going to try and help the feline instead, not caring what happened to herself!
((1, Gligar, 2, Purrloin, 3, Jasmine's assist))

((Answering this one first only because it's the quicker/easier of the two.)) Raven looked up as the Sneasel began to struggle, making sounds that as usual he couldn't understand. Calls of another came from the distance, and another farther off then that. It wasn't particularly hard to figure out what was going on; her parents at last.
Or so he hoped at least...he'd already been wrong before.
Reaching up, Raven grabbed the little Sneasel around the middle and placed her on the ground. The gentlemen that he was, he took hold of the female's claw and gestured for her to lead the way; or so he'd like to say. Honor and noble deeds had nothing to do with his actions. They were a precaution. He'd been fooled before, and they weren't entirely out of danger yet.
Until the Sneasel was back at her parents sides...her true parents...he had to remain close.

The Drillbur surprisingly, wasn't caught off guard by the Larvitar's attack. One might have wondered why, till they noticed the way the Pokemon kept rhythmically tapping his foot. The Drillbur was carefully monitoring the vibrations of the ground and movement of the sand; something like a ground-type version of sonar.
Lowering his claws into the sand, the Drillbur began to spin rapidly once again. This was not an attack however, instead the Drillbur began sending wave after wave of sand crashing in the direction of Ryuu! ((Lazy post, won't deny it. Tired. Head Pounding...the Ibuprofen does nothing!)

The Larvitar watched at the pokemon sent the waves of sand at him. However as he watched carefully, Ryuu picked out the pattern and began to weave in through the brief moments in which there was no sand. He was able to successfully catch his opponent with a Bite attack despite all attempts to push him away. He saw that the battle was going well and decided to clamp onto his opponent with another Bite attack!

Athena didnt even have to give the cammand as Victor moved trying to dodge whatever was thrown his way, his memory on Vine Whip had returned and he would be glad to use it again, but for now he would do his best to make sure he wasnt put to sleep disabled again or crushed into the dirt. "Oh Victor your.... Ok I want you to do your best to keep out of the way of that wigglytuff(Roll1) Jace smiled and walked with the intention of getting clear of the desert and making his way to the next place. He wouldnt let this place take him he wouldnt die easily. He looked down at his egg and thought of how much weaker Oni would be when he hatched again. "Hmm now this is an interesting perdicerment, on one hand I have an egg and the other I could be killed by a pokemon if I am not careful, hmm yep this is how I like it, the odds against me" He chuckled and walked at a swifter pace barely keeping the sand from sucking him under(Roll 2 egg post 5/10)

Whoawhoa. Big change! Ada looked at the water, like heck she could hold her breath down there for long...plus her long hair didn't go too well with salt in it, and she didn't bring a swimsuit...
Well, she could already rule out one way to go. Now, to the island, or to the skies? Well, the island looked safer. She'd bet that was the route everyone took, huh? The girl held out Impromptu and Carmines Pokeballs, calling them back as she looked up at the floating pieces of land.
To the skies!
She hesitantly reached for the newest pokeball on her hat, and looked at it. Erion could either guarantee some saftey, or take it away. Well...it was good to take risks? She released him right in front of her, the red light forming the shape of the prehistoric pokemon before clearing and leaving him there. Erion glared at her, heavy and savage breaths as he stood and stared.
Alright, this wasn't so bad. Maybe...maybe she was too big a meal or something. Whatever, he seemed calm for now, though no telling how long that would last. "I'll need you to do me a favor" the Aerodactyl winced his eyes, and she sighed. "If you do it for me, I'll give you good meat whenever I'm able to find it" that caught his attention. The promise of meat that wasn't from an old, fossil pokemon sounded good to him.
"I'll be going up there" she pointed at the floating lands, "I'm pretty good at jumping and balancing but...theres no surefire way of knowing I won't fall. All I need you to do is fly either above me, at my side, or below me, wherever suits you best. If I fall, you will be there to catch me" The Aerodactyle flicked his tail, he'd do it. Erion turned around and began with a short run, flapping his wings as he began to fly into the air. Crimson sighed, she never mentioned anything about knowing where to get meat...
She stretched her legs before jumping onto the lowest floating bit of land. She wasn't on for long, and once she landed she kept running forwards onto the second. It was a sort of pace, jumping onto the landmasses and never breaking the run as she just kept going.
Her brother was a freerunner, and sometimes afterschool she'd go with him to whatever abandoned building, rooftop, or junkyard he was going to practice in. Hopefully some of that spirit of his rubbed off on her, if only even a little.

So far so good. No complications or anything...you'd think there'd be some flying types up here or something. or actually, any pokemon that could climb the floating lands...they were pretty big, despite the fact Ada was zipping through them she could picture a small pokemon living here.
Ah, that next one was pretty high up. She wouldn't...no, she'd try. The girl kept running, jumping up at the floating piece of land as he foot reached out to get on top of it and...she missed. By a mile. The girl grabbed onto the edge, digging her fingers in. Oh my Arceus, this was a baaad idea.
She pulled herself up, using all her strength as she got her arms on the land. She fought against gravity to stay still, and she could hear the flapping of huge wings drawing near. A large tail put itself under her feet and pushed her up, and she landed facefirst onto the ground.
She coughed, getting up and dusting herself up. "Thanks..." all she got was a distant roar in response. Well...it was nice to know that, even if she couldn't see him, he was watching. She took a minute to catch her breath before taking off in a run and jump pattern again. Keep going, just keep going!

The Drillbur bounced back, managing to pull himself free when the Larvitar opened his mouth for another bite. That had been more then a little unpleasant.
Thrusting one claw into the ground, Drillbur swept his feet out from under himself, small tail skimming the sand as swung around. Pulling his claw free mid-spin, the Drillbur slid down to his back and toward his head, enacting something that looked a bit like a break dancing move.
Bringing his claws together as his nose touched the sound, the Drillbur true to his name, began to spin at high speed like a drill. Sand began to fly in every direction haphazardly; but before the Drillbur could burrow into the ground, he shifted his weight falling on his side and plowing forward much as he had before. This Larvitar wanted to take a bite out of him? Well he could have a taste of Rapid Spin instead!

What Victoria would see next was a sight to behold. Coming down the mountain was what first appeared to be a dense cloud of some yellow guess...until it sparked with electricity, and the sound of much chittering rose into the air. It wasn't a gas, nor was it a cloud, it was a swarm of Joltik!
">REVENGE!<" They cried together, and although each voice was small, the combined force of the shout rang clear across the crater! Skarmory might not travel in groups, but it wasn't particularly uncommon for such a small Pokemon as Joltik to exist in such mass swarms!
Spreading out like a wave, the Joltik leaped onto the whatever Skarmory they could. Sparks and webbing flew, accompanied by harsh caws and the glint of steel. Many Joltik were eaten, but the Skarmory were quickly paying the price for that.
It was more then just a battle, it was like a miniature war between the two groups of Pokemon...and Victoria was right in the middle of it!
[Roll 2 D20. One to see if Victoria gets caught in the Crossfire, and another to see what happens next!]

Lunarsun Arthur's movement through was slow, and he was open easily to attack as the leader went at him first. His head down as he would hit against that solid structure and bounce off to land on all four. His head ringing like a bell, but he could see the damage ...the other two ..the one whom yawn would fail as it seemed that the pokemon managed to stay awake and finally the last would surge forward out of no where when the dust clear to hit with a sucker punch. Flipping backwards in success of his attack as the Alpha would give one strong back and the other two would back away ..merging back into the pack's circle. Sitting down as it would seem that for the moment ....Arthur was once more facing one on one ... a much better situation then it was before as the pokemon glares at him with an evil smirk.
Yes, if the human can call in help when he choose ...so could he ...as he walks slowly around the Onix looking to dodge whatever attack he bothered to try and throw at him.((Don't worry it was only for 1 attack)) (18 - 2 + 7 - 10 = 13/2 = 6.5 rounds to 7dmg) (9 - 1 + 7 - 10 = 5/2 = 2.5 rounds to 3 dmg) [OOC: ...Resistance? From Dark? I won't complain, but I don't think Onix has resistance to Dark. Am I wrong?]Arthur was hurt. That couldn't be denied. He gave a bit of a pained glance back to Nick, not because of the injuries, though. No, he was sad to be losing. It was painful to be on the losing side. It was painful to be so weak. Nick could see those two blows took a lot out of Arthur and he had to think, without showing fear. It looked to be one-on-one now, but for how long. Use a potion and give defending another shot? Attack, hope for a good hit, and throw a pokeball at the next available opportunity, hopefully not getting Arthur K.O.'d? "Arthur," Nick called. The Onix turned slowly to give him a serious look, trying not to look any more pained than he already did. "Here," Nick walked over and gave Arthur a drink of the potion. Things like hope and luck weren't necessary. Skill and heart would win this. Nick needed Arthur to feel his second wind hit. "Heal and defend, my friend," he spoke softly. Arthur felt warmth passing through him. Yes, he could see it now. Victory was easy, wasn't it? He just had to have good timing. Yes! He could win! This would be easy! Nick and Arthur traded a smile. This wasn't over yet. They both looked to Poochyena and gave a knowing smirk. "Really," Nick said with a smile, "Who fights 3-on-1? I was going to let your best guy fight my best guy, but in the end you only shamed yourself with disgrace. You were unable to face an honorable battle and you have no right to lead any pokemon. If you wish to redeem yourself, fight with pride in your own abilities, for if you are without honor or pride..." Nick smashed the potion bottle against the ground, shattering it, then held the jagged edge facing the Poochyena. "...I will end this bout and come after you myself!" No, he wasn't joking, nor was he bluffing. He knew if it went back to 3-on-1, Arthur would lose. He would intervene before that happened again, taking out every one of these pokemon he could before they offed his friend. [OOC: Sorry that was a bit long sweatdrop ]

The Larvitar's Bite attack seemed to slice in deep into the pokemon. He hadn't meant to bite down so deeply on his opponent, but his opponent's rapid spin had not managed to deflect the attack. The battle had been won, but he felt kind of bad. It had just been a simple battle and he hadn't meant to kill his opponent. Wearily, he walked over to Riku.
The girl looked at the pokemon and began digging into the sand all around. It was hard work but the mole pokemon had dug into the sand already so it was easier. She finally placed the limp body into a hole and then buried it. Having a moment of silence, the girl then patted Ryuu on the head and now it was time to continue forward.

Luckily the pair went uninterrupted as they journeyed back towards the beginning of the island. It seemed to be taking forever to find the way to the beginning. However the girl and her pokemon were alive and well so that counted for something.. hopefully.

((Patience is a virtue lass, and I think just for that I won't give you any EXP!...nah, not really. Well actually I might if I thought I could get away with it. I'm evil like that.))
((Now, it's time to make Red jealous with a personality I bet she'll wish she thought of!))
[RYUU GAINED: 21 EXP]
">What ho! I say halt there, halt!<" A voice barked from atop one of the many dunes. The tone was surprisingly polite for such a savage place, and the girl would soon see why. ">Greetings and salutations!<" The voice barked again as a shape emerged from the darkness of night, padding across the sand ">I do say we don't get many visitors in the desert, wot!<" The source of the varied, polite barks would reveal itself to be a Growlithe. Muzzle a bit fuzzier then most, the fiery canine appeared as if he had a moustache and beard. To top off this odd feature, the Growlithe wore a somewhat rusty old monocle over his left eye. Heavens only knew where he'd obtained it.
Lifting his snout, the Growlithe sniffed the air around the pair tentatively. ">I dare say I smell death upon you lads! Now I enjoy a good ro myself now and then chaps, but there's no need for bloodshed wot!<" The Fire-Type stated calmly, sauntering closer to the pair ">Honor n' principles and all that. Never forget them wot!<"
">Why, without em we'd just be beasts, rather then the fine gentlemen we are! Ain't that right lad?<" The Growlithe spoke while leaning in toward Ryuu, inspecting the Larvitar closely with his food eye. One had to wonder how he'd gotten so close....and he was gone again.
Now standing a good few feet away from the pair, the Growlithe promptly sat down in the sand ">Now tell me lads, what brings you to my neck of the desert? Not here to cause any trouble I trust? I won't stand rifraf in my territory wot!<" The Growlithe gave a gruff cough as he sat there. Clearly he was a bit older then most of his kind in the area...and likely just a bit stranger as well.
