Jak gave him a lazy smile, "I would have come to get you but the doc has ordered bed rest. Not that I need it mind you! I'm as fit as a fiddle and ready to go back to my beautiful engines! Speaking of which! Have you seen Juslo? I really need to talk to him. Since I'm not allowed to I really need his help looking after the engines. That battle has me worried. I have no clue what condition they're in and if they need me I really need to be down there taking care of them!" She said everything quickly and took a deep breath once she was finished and made to start up again but she whimpered and clutched her head. "Stupid head...you know after the first few times I did this I would learn to stop hitting my head." She frowned and looked at him with a determined expression.

El Diablo Loco kissed her hand, "The way you work all the time? I'm glad he forced you to rest. Otherwise I'd never be able to get you out of the Engine room," At the mention of Juslo, Diablo grunted a bit but he answered her anyway, "I saw him just the other day- And nooooo. . . You don't need to talk to him, he's working down there very nicely. Everything is fine, Jak." Diablo reasurred her, and kissed her hand again. He gave her a smile, and then he said, "So. . . Since you're ordered Bed rest, how about I talk the doctor into allowing you to stay in myyyy bed?. . . Hmmmm?" Diablo gave her a little wink, but he kept his smile.

Jak wanted to protest and insist that she be reunited with her beloved engine room but bit her tongue. She turned in the direction of the dark corner in which the doctor had disappeared to once he finished his orders and slowly turned back to Diablo. She didn't want to say it but it actually hurt to turn her neck to either side.
"He went into that back corner if you want to ask. I'd love to get out o this medical setting if I'm allowed," she said quietly.

El Diablo Loco noticed that Jak didn't seem too thrilled to be spending any time with him, but he wasn't about to argue with an injured woman.
After Jak told him where the Doctor was, Diablo said "Say no more, Beautiful. . ." He kissed her hand, and then caressed it with his thumb, "I will go take care of it." He carefully stood up, gave his girl a smile, and walked to the other side of the room to find Rett. Once he found him, Diablo said "'Ey,. . . So you know, I'm going to take her back to my room. She will get plenty of rest there. She won't put up a fight with me." He wasn't going to ask. He was telling Rett what was going to happen. El Diablo Loco felt bad enough as it is that he wasn't there when Jak got hurt, instead he was searching for Kat on the other ship. The only upside that he could see was: He found Scott, "The Titan" was destroyed, and the ship has a new doctor. Other than that, he was feeling pretty negative about the whole thing; Blaming himself, and all.
Diablo stood tall as he awaited for Rett to speak. Fully prepared to argue, and everything. Anything so that he could make it up to Jak for not being there when she got hurt. Diablo then said, ". . She'll listen to me when I tell her to stay in bed. I'm not only her boyfriend, but I'm also her superior. . I can take care of her, Rett." He had hoped that it was enough to bring her back to his room. Diablo could tell that Jak wasn't happy being in the Infirmary at all.

Rett raised his eyebrows at Diablo and chuckled. "You can make the little pistol mind you ey? I had a hell of a time getting her to stay put when she came too. Well then sir I wish you luck with her. For no reason is she to be on her feet until the wound is healed completely and I can remove the bandage. If you notice anything odd about her behavior let me know." What Rett didn't say was that Jak was showing signs of memory loss. He didn't want to worry the man anymore then he clearly already was. He hoped with more rest her memory would return completely. "Her bandages will need to be changed every morning when she wakes and every evening before sleep. I'll come find you when it needs to be done."

El Diablo Loco nodded, and then he said "Alright, then," He looked over to Jak and then back at Rett, "Thank you." Diablo gave him another nod, and then walked back over to Jak's bed. He smiled down at her and he said, trying to sound macho, "He didn't bother to put up a fight. ." Diablo smiled at jak and he said, "Come on. . I'll take you up to my room." As gently as possible Diablo picked Jak's petite little body up in his arms. He recalled all the times where he had called Jak 'heavy'; In truth, she was as light as a feather. . well, compared to most girls he had been with.
Diablo kissed Jak on the cheek and gently Jak up to his room.

Jak didn't say anything on the way up to Diablo's room. Once they arrived however she started up again, "I love that you did this for me. This will make it all that much easier to go down to my engines!"

Captain spyre sat at his large table on the bridge and looked over charts as an exclamation came from a sailor at the controls.
"Captain! someone is hailing us!" called out the sailor as scott looked up.
"Patch it through!" called out scott.
A light, cheery laugh came from the ship's vocal tubes, "Well well, Captain Spyre! have your precious orchid blown full of holes I see, how careless of you, hmm"
said the voice.
"Oh lovely, some painted up harlot hath control of my ears, what do you want, Genevieve?" said scott.
She gasped "My dear, I gave you the distinction of your title, you should know to call me Madame LeCruz! or have we forgotten our manners? such a pirate are you, Scott Spyre" she said.
"You have yet to tell me your business here, I suggest you kindly make haste, I have better things to do then to jabber all day"
Said Scott. "Why don't you come aboard the 'Yellow Diamond' and find out for yourself, my dearest Captain."
Scott shook his head "That brothel in the sky? no thank you, I am still recovering from the last visit I had taken" said scott "The orchid will do fine, you came all the way to come find me, some walking could not hurt you" said scott.
"Very well, have it your way, just keep your hands to yourself! ta ta for now!" she signed off with a giggle.

Juslo stares out his window dreamily, while he thinks of the future of his family. On the ship his family is his fellow crew, in other terms that would mean Capt. Skott is Daddy. But Daddy is too strong of a word, Father is more like. ... Jus begins to daydream- If I had my own ship, I would search everything, find my own path, learn of my own parents, and keep my Aye on the prize. I need to be settle for now but I will get there. As he came out of thoughts, he saw in the distance a ship aproaching. It didn't seem threatning, which meant a visitor. "Better get to work," he said to himself.

El Diablo Loco let out a heavy sigh, and he said "I didn't do this so that you could sneak off to the engine room. That is what you have your gremlin for," He locked the door and then stuffed the key into his trousers, "You want it, then you're going to have to dig around for it." Diablo knew Jak wasn't going to want to get the key at this time- later on maybe. He walked up to Jak, kissed her forehead, and then he said "Lay down, please? You need your rest."

Jak pouted for a minute and then did as Diablo asked her. After a minute or so she looked at him and said, "Well? Are you gunna stand there or what?"

Juslo got to the engine room and began to lube evrything that is a gadget (that includes the major parts of the ship engine). Then he began to clean up the room, the spare parts, made sure they worked, and swabbed the floors. Next he left the room and made sure all guest doors worked perfectly, pipes and plumbing are in working condition, and no broken stairs were broken. "I guess now I need lunch," he said to himself as he wiped his head with the back of his arm. So he headed for the kitchen.

El Diablo Loco gave Jak a bright smile, then he hopped right into bed next to her. He put his arms around her and gently squeezed her, he whispered softly "To be honest, I'm. . sort of glad you're not working right now. . I hardly ever see you sometimes. But when I do see you, the visit is always short-lived. We're either under attack, or someone is trying to take over the ship. . Orrrrr we're getting into some kind of trouble. Either way, it's bothersome and I only just want to see you for a while. . ."
Pulling Jak closer, he rested his chin on the top of her head and sighed, "Tell anyone that I've gone soft, and I just might kill you. Just saying."

Jak laughed, "Soft? The El Diablo Loco go soft?! Surely you must be joking!" She pulled his blankets up and did her best not to move around too much. Being more serious she said, "I'm sorry I'm such a workaholic. I c-c-can't-" she interupted herself with a yawn. "Can't help it. If I don't make sure the engine is in top working order who knows will? Juslo is a good kid but I don't know him very well yet." She closed her eyes and the throbing in her temples began to ease.

"Well," El Diablo Loco began as he started to rub her back, "when it comes to you I'm painfully soft; Honestly I favour you over most of the members- Well, okay. . That's kind of a lie right there. . . Hmmm. . ." He kissed the top of her head and after she spoke he let out a 'Hm' then he replied "As much as I hate saying this, I'm going to tell you right now that since you've been out he's been the one handling all of the maintenance on the ship, and for a shorty like him he's been doing a perfect job. . So you need to stop worrying, Babe."
El Diablo Loco moved one hand to the back of Jak's neck and he started to rub. He didn't mind that Jak loved her job. What he hated was how she didn't really know how to relax. Diablo nuzzled into her hair, and then he said "Tell me how I can get your mind off of work."
