Maeda decided that she needed more Pokemon and training before she battled Gyn Leader Brock.
She walks around in the grass until a wild Pokemon attacks her and her Bulbasaur!

Pidgey is weakened.
Meada threw a PokeBall at the weakened Pidgey.
After some struggle, Pidgey is caught!
Maeda caught a level 5 Pidgey!

"Hey! You! I challenge you to a battle!" She yells as loud as she can, getting a bit embarrassed about being so over dramatic about it.
