"I..." Kyoshi closed his mouth and complied to what Dusk wanted. He laid back down slowly and carefully. How bad were the burns? He hoped it was just shock that made it hurt. Then again, Dusk had been really quiet and no one was really telling him anything. "Dusk....I...." What could he say?
Joker had left that room and returned to the kitchen. Then he came out and sitting on the sofa, staring at Talon with slight twitches here and there. "You okay?"

"Sleep." Her voice was unnaturally soft, something that would make others strain to hear her. But in the silence of the room, it wasn't that difficult. Was it her fault? Was it because she had made another risk for Kyoshi that he got hurt to this extent? Even like this, Dusk knew that everyone in this town got hurt, especially those in his line of work. But, there was the extent of how often they had been attacked, how bad things were getting.
Talon looked at him, a little nervous but not showing it. Joker unnerved him, he didn't know why though. "Eh, I'll be fine. That guy just hurt me a bit more than I thought."

Joker raised a eyebrow at Talon. "Want me to take a look at it? I am a doctor you know." He shrugged and folded his hands together.
Kyoshi just looked at her. He thought back. He was burned. He had a cig. Then was attacked. There. The whole story. "I burned myself. I had a cig. It must of started the fire." He said anxiously. He was trying to convince himself or her of something that he couldn't put his finger on. Not knowing what else to say, he kept quiet and looked at Dusk. Something was wrong and he wasn't liking it.

Nodding, Dusk still didn't change. "Ok. Now rest."
"Heh heh...um...I think I'll be ok...thanks for the offer..." Talon tried to keep his perfect composure, but something about Joker threw him off. Maybe it was the fact that he seemed to understand much more than he was supposed to. Talon had only known him for a little while, but that much was obvious.

"Oooooookay." Joker said and twitched. It wasn't his fault that he was creepy and scary. Looking at the door where the pair where he just stared. He didn't move at all. Waiting.
Kyoshi reluctantly closed his eyes. Very slowly. He shut his eyes and didn't like it. He was worried about getting attacked again. He worried about Dusk. Needing to get to the bottom of all this make his head hurt. 'What the hell is going on?'

Sighing, Dusk traced Kyoshi's jawline. Walking out, she looked at Joker and Talon. Walking to the couch, she sat next to Joker on the other side of the couch, looking at the floor.
"Dusk..." All pain was forgotten when Talon saw the pain in her eyes. Dusk was empty, and he knew enough about her to know that this was caused by more than just Kyoshi.

"Put your chin up, Dusk. It won't do you good to let it get to you." Joker said looking at his folded hands. "Your the greatest thing that Angel has right now. It's not anyones fault that your more of a bad a** than anyone, more than Monty." Joker looked over both shoulders. "But you didn't hear that part from me." He whispered. "If there is anything you wish to let out of your system, go ahead and do it. No will hear you." He waved one hand around the room and twitched. For an insane guy he did make some form of sense than some but then again as the author of him I don't pay that much attention.

When Dusk didn't say anything, Talon spoke. "It's more than this...ain't it Cecilia?" Looking up, Dusk looked into Talon's eyes and nodded.
"He died, because of me...so did she...and so did so many others...will Kyoshi die because of me too?" The only word that wasn't in elvish was Kyoshi's name. Only changed by a slight accent.
"It's not your fault and we both know that."
"If I would've accepted the marriage...I wouldn't be here..."
"And so many people would be dead because you weren't here to save them." Dusk looked up and felt her heart break. "But....."

"Cecilia? What a pretty name. Hmmm. She had a pretty name too. Not as pretty as yours though." He twitched and wore a thoughtful expression. "Yes. Her name wasn't as pretty as yours." He muttered. He looked at Dusk. "Let it out Dusk. Holding all that in will make you feel worse. I should know." He should. Look how he was and never learned to let it out. That's how his madness set in and how he can use that madness as an advantage.

Glancing at Joker, both Talon and Dusk had the respect to not ask who she was. "I know that if I hadn't been in the picture," She started. Dusk's voice was soft, but steady, back in the normal language. "If I hadn't been here, and stayed in Ellwood like I was ordered, Zaine, Ziggy, Talon, Mist, Ali, Kai, Serras, and Kyoshi would all be in different positions."
Talon sighed. "Yeah. In prison. Dead." Dusk looked at him. "Come on, Dusk... me and bro were about to do a suicide job when you showed up. Zaine was still a mercenary, Ziggy was getting into his business before you showed up, he just took more risky jobs recently. Ali, Serras, and Kai...well I don't know about them. No one really does. And I'm sure Kyoshi would be hurt at least once like this." His voice was soft, comforting. But Dusk just looked down.
"And Mother?"
Sadly, Talon had no answer to that one.

Joker's ears perked up. "Kyoshi was hurt. Both physically and mentally. It was horriable. He was worse. This was many, many years ago. Now. He's more....responsible. Because of you. Now....If you don't mind, what happened to mother?" He had this bad habit of nosing around in things that weren't his business, unless you count knowing without being told as nosy. "Though Kyoshi would have been dead long before you came." He said under his breath.

Both of them stiffened at his words. Talon didn't know how Dusk was going to react, scared that she would just stare at the ground again. But, she sighed and looked at Joker. "Because of what I am, I was sentenced to exile at age four. My mother kept me alive illegally. Even though she was the Lady of the Clan, they killed her. My brother being the one to do so."

"Ah." Joker looked thoughtful at her. "You may not see this but me and Kyoshi do have a history." He lowed his voice. "Do you know what Kyoshi is?" Joker leaned near Dusk. "But I think you wouldn't believe me if I told you." He straighten up and looked at his hands. A smile grin played on his lips.

Talon and Dusk both looked at him oddly. Talon stayed quiet, knowing that none of those really concerned him other than that Dusk would be ok. "What is he that is so unbelievable, Joker?" Her voice was practically monotone, something that really was worrying the pyro. Normally, Dusk would be all excited, but now....now she seemed dead.
Talon really hoped that it just stayed seemingly dead...
