Asuka Hayata The way I see it is that since vampires don't exist, there is no wrong way to portray them. Bizarre ways (Twilight?) maybe, but not wrong ways. Most of the old vampire media is based on Old vampires (which are the most common one. sometimes extended with more magic) Twilight was on a vision of some dumb person who NEVER SAW ANY VAMPIRE RELATED MATERIAL. Quote from the rant: "in an interview she once said that she never read or saw any vampire-related material before in her life. THEN WHY THE HELL ARE YOU WRITING ABOUT VAMPIRES?! Imagine if Larry the Cable Guy did stand-up about the problems in the market on Wall Street. But he doesn't do that, do you know why? Because Larry's smart, he knows that he should stick to redneck stuff." She didn't portray them. she remade them with no basic knowledge of a vampire besides pale skin and fangs. Chocobo's are not real either but you don't see people who tribute/put them in games as a dog or some cat. The people who uses Chocobo's either played the video game or looked up some notes on them. (Greens are carrots, so a chocobo is a giant chicken-like creature that is as fast as a horse and sometimes flies. They enjoy a diet of Greens). You don't see stories about a Chocobo being a Dog who eats the flesh of humans and swims underwater like a shark. What i am getting at is if you are making anything and including something like a fake monster or being, please keep nearly all of the basic characteristics of said monster/being. And now you know how i feel about Twilight Vampires.

I don't know though I personally feel the term sounds awkward to say. I won't tell others not to say it though. 2. Even if I knew for a fact I was the last man alive I would still have class and decency.

I tend to say Gensokyan.
As for Rinnosuke, he's the only named male character who isn't dead if my memory serves correctly. Therefore, fans love to just mess with him like that I suppose. I prefer normal ol' Kourin to be honest.
Also, Wotan, I happened to see you get called out in the metal subforum. You're quite the celebrity.

I say that there ZUN should hold a contest to design a new Story Male Character (like Rinnosuke). one could be used infuture works.
They submit a drawing of a human (no other breeds) that could be Rinnosuke's rival. Design him via image and send name of character and name of his store.
I could think that ZUN would have his bio and other stuff besides names and image.
WE NEED SOMEONE TO COMPETE AGAINST RINNOSUKE AS BEST SHOP KEEPER EVER!

Well, it's more like Rinnosuke's the only confirmed-alive male primary that isn't a CLOUD. (How could Unzan be forgotten? Too much trauma from fists and lasers?)
On another note, I just got blindsided from a friend sending me a crapload of Reitaisai stuff. As happy as I am, it's quite a lot to sift through...

I still firmly believe that Unzan is a Stand from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The fists and lasers make more sense now!
I forgot about Lord Tenma. I was thinking Youki and Myouren. Well then I guess Rinnosuke is the only male character who's alive, active, and has a definite mass and volume.

Well... I think Youki hasn't been confirmed to be dead, and I hope ZUN decides to bring him to one of the print works someday. Gensokyo needs a resident badass. (other than Unzan, that is)
