Star suddenly stopped as she found a large glob of blue webbing wrap around her mouth. Didn't really do anything, but it was enough to make her stop thinking.

"Still have a lot of things that need my attention." she replied a bit quietly.
"But nothing that needs immediate attention!" Star called out from the alley, no longer bothering to use telepathy. Saph didn't want her to think, fine, she'll just talk. "Plus your place was leveled..." she continued as she gently floated out of her hiding place.
Sapphire glanced back at her with a small aggrivated sigh. "And here comes one of things on my to do list..."

So much time alive, and so much of it spent trying to get information from people, had taught Vandal Savage to not dismiss anything. "Your meme? You mean your grandmother?" He took another look at Sapphire Spider. "There must also be some kind of time distortion involved, as well. You don't appear anywhere NEAR old enough to be a grandmother. I'd put you in you mid-to-late twenties." Damn, how long has it been since he was that young? He hadn't even found the meteorite yet...

Sapphire paused and thought for a moment. Really no. She didn't want anything to do with that family if she didn't have to. But if she was alone...
"Didn't you say something about your uncle being here?" she asked Star.
"Oh, yeah. That's who I found when I came to this world first. But that got me in trouble with that flying cheerleader, remember? So hanging out with you should put me on everyone's good side, right?"

Vandal Savage dipped into his extensive knowledge of heroes from his Universe. Flying cheerleader... Only one person she could mean by that... "Supergirl won't care who you 'hang around'. Once you prove yourself to be 'evil' in her mind, you're pretty much stuck there."

Gold Star slumped a bit. Well great...so she'd be after her anyways. She glanced down at the bag hanging from her side a second, and remembered that she still had the dagger her uncle had given her. Well, maybe she'd just have to try and find him again. Then again she had said that she'd stick around with her meme. But then again she could still stick around her without being around her.
"Well, so much for that plan." she said as she glanced back up at Sapphire. "Well then...if you really are getting annoyed with me, I could totally leave you alone for a while." she said.

Sapphire glanced back at her a moment. Honestly she wasn't sure she could leave the girl alone...but right now all she wanted was something to eat and a nice soft bed. The whole day was really begining to wear her out...now this on top of it.
Gold Star grinned a bit under her mask. "I'll take that as a yes." she said as she tapped her head with her finger. "I'll head off and find something else to do for a while. Maybe I can find you again when you're not feeling so busy." she said, then turned and gave a small knod to Savage before drifting back up into the alley.
