"What? Such nonsense!" Maggie scoffed at Danni's dismissal. In an instant, she wsa by Danni's side, holding up different flowers to her hair. "Hmmm.... what color, what color..." This was something Maggie did often. Plants often brought people together, where it was mutual admiration for a certain bloom, discussion of soil types, or common complaints of allergies and hay fever. At one point, Maggie was probably standing close enough for Danni to get a whiff of magnolias.
"HEY ELF-CHICK!! WHAT COLOR??" she called back to Lin.

When Maggie suddenly appeared right next to her, Danni immediately tensed, but forced herself to relax. After all, this fairy certainly didn't look like the type to be Arzol in disguise, ready to kill her off at the first available moment..."Um...what are you talking about?" Danni inquired when Maggie started spouting off about colors..."Um...my hair? It's blue." She said, though underneath the dye it was auburn.

Lin smiled softly at the girl before her and then more brightly at Maggie's actions. To grace a person with flowers seemed just like home. She felt like she was back at home right now. She felt very calm.
"Miss, it is not polite to carry on conversation as if you were not here. Why would we do that? Please join us."
Her smile grew warmer towards the girl, hoping to make her feel welcome. Then she addressed Maggie. "The purple looks beautiful with her complexion."

Maggie just rolled her eyes. "I know that," she said. But, her voice was friendly, not demeaning in the least. She looked back at Lin. "Just what I was thinking! Now, daisies, morning glories, hyacinths, or what?" Maggie walked a few steps around Danni, examining her hair and complexion.

"Morning glories because their name has 'morning' in it, the best time of the day."

"Um...flowers? Those are names of flowers, right?" She asked a bit stupidly, not having much use for things that couldn't be used in dark magic potions or something similar. Still, this was different...and amusing. "I'm sure night owls everywhere would disagree with you," She said to Lin Yin, flashing a grin that made her face seem friendlier, more approachable, for just a moment.

"Yep! All flowers!" Maggie affirmed. Yellow sparkles of light appeared in her hands and formed a ring, which she put around Danni's head like a crown or tiara. When Maggie stepped back, the lights grew bigger and turned into a ring of royal purple morning glories. "Although, afternoon can be very nice too."

Lin's eyes widened at the gorgeous scene before her as Maggie put the finishing touches on Danni. It was so beautiful and magical. It looked just like her home.
She smiled warmly and nodded. "That is beautiful. Truly extraordinary. And yes, Danni, you are right. The night owls would disagree, and they deserve their happiness like we do. I guess the night has its purpose."
She laughed softly, the laughing sounding like little bells tinkling in the trees. All elves' laughter sounded like that.

When the light halo touched Danni's head, she felt a sudden rush of white magic that had her suppressing a shudder. But the moment quickly passed, and she looked up to vaguely see a few purple flower pedals. She couldn't see anything else or her eyes would roll up in her head, so she could only guess it was a flower crown. Nice. Love the color." She said, finally getting what that conversation had been about a few moments ago.

"Thank you, thank you!" Maggie hopped back and took another bow. She spun around, and was suddenly holding an entire string of absolutely humongous magnolia blossoms. The fragrance was rather strong, but pleasant. "Maggie one, drab zero."

Lin laughed softly again at what Maggie said. She was quite eccentric, but she was also endearing. Lin was quickly wanting to become her friend.
She smiled politely at Danni. "May I inquire as to your name? My name is Lin Yin."

Danni nodded, flashing a quick smile. See, she could be civil if she felt like it. True, she rarely did, but that wasn't the point. "Good to meet ya, Lin Yin. Danni Rinaldi." She said, not knowing the elf had met her parents and siblings already.

"And I'm-" but Maggie was interrupting by a loud bang and a hand on her shoulder.
"And you're in trouble for skipping class this morning," Ophiuchus said sternly. He looked up at the other girls, and smiled. Not that he had any reason to be smiling. He was well aware of Ialo's situation, but the boy had given him explicit instruction not to interfere with his work life. "Good afternoon Lin, Danni."

"Hey Ophi. Thanks for last night. Good as new now, thanks to you." Danni said with a genuine smile. She was endebted to this kind man, who'd literally brought her back from the dead.

Ophiuchus waved at Danni. "No problem, just, ah, let's try to keep that from happening on a regular basis, okay? It kinda leaves me groggy in the morning..."
"Who? what?" Maggie jumped in eagerly.
"Nothing, nothing..."
