Graff hears Shin Lu "dont worry I pick up the food and when you finish your fight you help me to make the dinner, we still have a lot of time, a feast sounds too good, enough food for everyone, mostly for Ilyana I think...·"

You'll never expect what you can't see...

((Woo-hoo! Post #1111, dunno, just found the post count amusing. Sorry for not posting 'til now. I had a wedding to attend.))

Although Siom's curiosity was beginning to build, he didn't press further for now. He nodded back, "Khr'uss." After a short bit of only staring, he finally blinked and turned to Kayla's father. "This may be stated a bit bluntly, but wouldn't it be your match again, Isaac, against Shin-lu?"

Par'il nodded, "Sure. I could explain the preparation of a meal or two as soon as you can join us in the kitchen." With that, he, too, stood up and began walking down the stands. As he had already seen both Isaac and Shin-lu in a fight, he felt he could miss a bit. The elf began to the lounge. It may be early yet, but some of this meal needs time to prepare.

"Yeah, you're right." Isaac replied, walking out of the stands and into the arena. Kayla kept her gaze on the arena grounds, waiting for the fight to start.

Graff follow Par`il "I would like to see the next fight, but Im also want to know a few of your recipes, elven food is not very common, by the way, I dont know if you noticed something, but Dark has some kind of... troubles... he spoke with me, and he looked very disturbed...·"

Par'il peered over his shoulder to the man speaking to him. He found Graff's curiosity of the cuisine delightfully interesting. As Dark came up, Par'il's eyes fell. He stared forward again. "Dark is considered grown for a human, I am certain he can fend for himself." Presumably, Par'il meant no disrespect by the remark, but Dark isn't a person Par'il would readily seek out.

Dark was still sitting under the shadow of the tree. He could barely make out Par'il and Graff in the distance, but he was far enough away to not be able to hear what they were talking about. He didn't move more than to keep them in sight as they traveled the grounds. Easily, he could've remained unnoticed.

As Kayla peered forward, Siom did the same. Hopefully Shin-lu would prove more of a challenge to Isaac.

Graff keeps walking with Par`il "yes... he is a grown man, but also he seems like... someone stole all the fun in his life, the way he spoke to me, it was like he didnt know what to do... like... like a child, a child who truly never had faced such trouble..."

Shin-lu looked to the arena and noticed Issac getting into the arena. Looks like her turn again. She turned to Par'il and Graff. "You two get a head start, I'm up." She grinned as she hoisted her sword belt up and jumped down into the arena. Shin-lu held her hand up for a bit to Issac. The fight was her and Ilyana verses him, see if magic made any difference in the game.

Ilyana eventually made her way to the arena and walked over to Shin-lu. She opened her mouth to speak. Nothing came out. Ilyana patted her throat, wondering why.

Shin-lu tilted her head. "Ilyana? Something wrong?"

Ilyana took out her spell tome and ripped out a page. Nothing. No thunder, no fireball, no wind. Silence was deadly to mages. Ilyana looked to Shin-lu and held her hands out, confused.

Shin-lu looked around. "Anyone know Esuna? Or have an echo screen or something? Ilyana seems to have silence casted on her somehow." She wasn't sure if she should continue the fight. She wanted to do it with Ilyana.

Graff keep walking beside Par`il, "OK Ilyana we will start, and when you are ready you will help us to finish, think we have everything in the kitchen?, or going to need some exotic elven spices?"

You'll never expect what you can't see...

((Sorry, back...))

Dark heard the call for a silence-breaking solution from Shin-lu pour out from the arena. He may have actually carried many healing items for a tight situation, items which include an echo screen or two, but he didn't exactly feel like going back into the arena at the moment. So, he sat.

As Graff gave the description, Par'il laughed a bit under his breath. He had often heard the elder elves speaking of humans as the child race of the world, but this was the first time someone had ever made that comparison to someone he knew. Quickly, he cleared his throat to cover it. "From what I have seen of the man, he was raised in the life of an assassin. These people are denied pleasures, usually even stripped of emotion at a young age. Of course he would not seem to be 'fun.'" Par'il noticed that this wasn't the answer Graff was looking for, so he gave another alternative, "Here is an idea, if you can find him, feel free to invite him to these dinner preparations. He already has proven he can cook. More hands should make this move faster and easier. If there is anything I can help him with, I will do so there." There was a small pause in this conversation. "Go. Look for him now. I am only going to grind grains for a fresh bread; you will not miss much." Par'il kept walking towards the lounge. It is true that he did not want to work with Dark, but he couldn't say no to Graff.

Siom leaned closer as Ilyana struggled with something. When Shin-lu called out, he leaped forward and rushed to her. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a plastic vial, which contatined a decent purple tonic, and held it to Ilyana, "Try this; it's my own remedy."

((Note: Ilyana will be able to talk and cast after this, but she still cannot vocalize the topic of 'the elf in the forest.' The elf had thrown a few spells together which caused this 'curse' of sorts.))

Graff looks at where Par´il is pointing "ah yes, he is there, sure it would bother you?, its easy to tell that you both didnt like each other, its Ok, then?, well Im gonna ask him... I dont think he are gonna say yes, but I still want to ask him, I see you in the kitchen..." Graff start to walk toward where Dark is "... I hope this dont become a mess... one confused assassin and a usually cool elf that dont like the assassin, nice combination..."

You'll never expect what you can't see...

Par'il stepped into the lounge. The vines which had grown on the wooden walls from when Par'il 'healed' the wall of it's 'wounds' hung delicately in place. 'With no one taking care of them, they are bound to dry out, wither, and die. We cannot let them to brown and leave a lot of plant debris.' "Sira en' alu - mela en' alu - hisie en' alu - Rosse Hwesta." The plants seemed to perk up; tiny droplets of water formed on the green veins. The place became just a little livelier and inviting. After only a moment of viewing, Par'il headed straight back to the kitchen.

Dark looked up as Graff approached. However, he didn't say anything. He only stared, waiting to see if the half-elf would speak.

Par'il's translation: "Flow of water - gentle caress - nature's love - Breeze of Dew."

Graff approaches Dark "Hey... we are going to make a dinner for Isaac, I thought you would like to help us with the food... of course if you dont want or dont feel good, I... we would understand..."

Suddenly there would be a loud thud near the door of the lounge. Another second went by before the door slammed up and an towering figure walked through it's opening. It was a dragonborn, none other than Roy. He was a great traveler but had returned from his long comings. He was tracking someone, but who? The last time he was seen was in the arena, around the time Graff won his match. He would move through the tables and whatnot straight to the kitchen where he noticed Dark but more importantly Graff. He would nod his head in respects to the both of them. From Roy's appearance, it looked as if he went through a great deal, and many hardships.

"Water..." he would ask for.

Ilyana took the vile and downed it...vile and all. She then turned to Shin-lu and muttered. "I'm hungry.."

"She's cured!" Shin-lu grinned. She then turned to Issac and whipped out her rapiers. "Now let's see if a bit of magic gives me an edge over you."

Ilyana opened her mouth to talk about the elf in the forest, but found herself unable to, as if she was mute again. Another muttering of "I'm hungry" showed she wasn't completely mute. But Ilyana was not one to hold grudges, so the light pale girl jumped onto her friend's back and hung there like a cape as they waited for the battle to start.
