Once again the rubix cube fought back against the young Nara with a superior wit and unyielding steel trap mind. Again the child had to concede to the fact that the toy was totally whooping his butt with its ability to roll about in various fashions that seemed good to the user until he found himself in a dead end. That dead end was where the Nara was beginning to feel that he had caught himself. However a quick peek at the small girl told him that giving up after a couple failures held no rewards, but rather if he pressed on until his worl was complete he'd definately accomplish his goal. With the rubx cube still in his hands, the boy closed his eyes and set his mind on a series of turns and twists that formed a pattern he would test out on the block.

Reza decided that he would practice some more hand seals while he waited for he boy to reply to him. He popped his finger and began to contortion them again into the horse seal hopping that this time he would get it right.

Rhaim didn't even bother putting the device down when he had noticed that he failed at his attempt. He simply reset his mind to a new formula of rotating the block and began a anew on it. He needed to keep his eyes closed for two reasons, one so that he wouldn't second guess his own moves, and two so that he wouldn't be distracted by all of the going ons in the outside world. For the most part as long as he concentrated he was having no problem with either area. The thing that was giving him issues was the actual means of finding the right pattern to use in rotating the block about. So far he had assumed that what he had been finding were small seperate rule for solving the individual sides. However what he needed now was a universal rule that would work for this and every block he ever encountered.

Reza sighed in defeat as once again the horse seal evaded his control. His brow furrowed in concentration as he bent his thumbs over his steeped finger and interlocked the remaining fingers after he had bent them. Oh come on this is such an easy seal. A voice replied in his that sounded annoyingly like himself when he was small, Then why can’t you get it right? Reza was just getting ready to reply when he realized that he was talking to himself in his head, That’s a sign of going crazy right. He face contorted into a frown at that thought.

DAMN YOU HORSE, he shouted in his mind. He let the seal drop and turned around for a moment to compose himself before trying once again. He twisted his finger so that they over lapped his pointer fingers which he had formed into steeples. He then curled the rest of his fingers and interlocked them.

“Finally,” he muttered under his breath as he managed to perfect the horse seal and hold the horse seal. The next seal that he thought of was the monkey seal. He took his left hand and place it palm down, then he took his right hand and placed it against his left hand palm up. He took the thumb of his left hand and placed it between the pinky and ring finger on his right hand while he took the pinky of his left hand and placed it between the thumb and pointer of his right hand.

A dejected sigh escaped the lungs of Reza as he once again contortioned his fines to once again take up the shape of the monkey seal. He was getting sick of this handsign training but he supposed it was all part of the academy, but that didn’t change the fact he didn’t like it.

Rhaim could feel himself get rather close to choosing the correct pattern during his last attempt to solve the rubix cube and thus wasted no time in trying out a new pattern. He was certain that there was some sort of series of movements that would bring it all together and that the answer did not lay in some random choice of spins on the cube before him. However at this point it would not have surprised the young lad to find that it was indeed just a series of random rotations that would end up solving the puzzle. There was no time for the boy to be considering all of the possible outcomes of the block, he simply would stick with the path he had chosen and force it to work. He knew that this answer would not solve every problem in life but for now it would do.

The rubix cube was placed on the grass in front of the young Nara as he wanted to again stare it down for any weaknesses that it might possess that he hadn't seen or considered yet. The colors of the cube seemed to stare back at him equally as hard, as if it were discerning his weaknesses at the same time. He ran both of his hands over every side of the cube to try and focus his mind around every angle by which he could approach it. He needed to try some sort of new technique other than blind guessing at patterns if he wanted to have any hope of finishing the cube. Thus he decided that he'd move the solid sides that he already had onto different faces of the cube and see if that would somehow cause a settleing of the two remaining colors.

When he had finished moving about the colors he had already properly placed Rhaim found that he had in fact been successful at placing all of the white squares together on one side. The only problem that remained was that in the process of such one black square had ended up in the corner of each of the other colors respective sides. It was going to take a high amount of critical thinking for the boy to fix this mess and what's more is that he knew it. He knew that it was going to be the most difficult portion of the cube yet, but he was still determined to defeat the block and thus he set himself to flipping it about in his hands to look for the best way to handle the situation. He knew that the only squares which couldn't be rearranged were those in the center of the faces, so somehow he had to use that to his advantage.

Just as he had assumed, the last piece of the puzzle was definately the hardest to figure out for this rubix cube. Also just as he had thought it would be, the centers of the faces of the cube were the key to finishing off this small task. However having knowledge of these issues being existent and being able to do anything about them were two very different animals, as the small boy was fast figuring out. He spent several more seconds playing over all of the moves he had made with the device thus far and tried to link them all with where he was now in his progress with the block. Feeling somewhat more confident that he better understood the principles of the toy, the Nara took to dialing it around itself once again.

Reza took a deep breath and let it out trying to relaz himself a little. After he felt some of the tension leave his body he tried forming the monkey sign again. He took his left hand and place it palm down, then he took his right hand and placed it against his left hand palm up. He took the thumb of his left hand and placed it between the pinky and ring finger on his right hand while he took the pinky of his left hand and placed it between the thumb and pointer of his right hand.

He smiled once again as he managed to master that particular seal with out to much difficulty. He closed his eyes and focused for a moment and the next seal swam into view. This time it was the ram seal. He took his thumb, pointer, and middle finger of both of his hands and stuck them up in the air and settled them next to each other. Afterwards he curled the pinky and ring finger of his right hand on top of the other two fingers of his left hand.
