Josh kept his face straight. "Fine. I don't even need to ask what you were doing." He said, grimacing.
Star swallowed hard. Josh may come off as a nice, laid-back guy, but when he was either being protective or serious, he was so uptight and grouchy.
"A few buddies of mine were passing the nurses office when they saw you and Thayli through the window." Josh said, pursing his lips. "Star, I thought we could trust you to handle yourself. Guess you can't be by yourself anymore."
"Josh, no. Thayli doesn't know yet." Star argued, looking him straight in the eye.
"Well, I either pull you away from him, or you're off the job." He said, knowing if Star chose the latter, it meant she didn't get any of the payings from it.
Star bit her lip again, unsure of what to do. Without being on this job, she'll never be able to do independant jobs. But, was that worth losing Thayli, not to mention probably hurting him?
"Tick tock.. we're on a clock. We need to pick someone to frame still." Josh said, speaking lower.
Star closed her eyes and sighed. "You mean you still have to find someone. I'm out." She said, turning away. She could already feel the red, hot, glare from Josh on her back, but Star didn't look at him. She was afraid her face would melt off. That, would not be good. Star opened the door to the nurses office, and saw Thayli. She walked over, plastering on a smile. "I'm back!" She said, with a sing-song voice.

((I'm Canadian, color is Colour)) Thayli looked up as he heard Star enter. "Welcome back." He said, standing up. "Grey seems to be one of your colours." Complimenting her.

"Thank you." Star said, smiling. Even though she hated the colour, she had to admit, the outfit was nice. "Shall we go see Kiyoko now?" Star asked, not mentioning anything about her talking to Josh.

Star looked stunned. "W-why?" She asked, very surprised. Hopefully it wasn't some test or something, because the necklace was nice. Certainly, Star would take it, but she wasn't sure why he was giving it to her.

Without noticing, Star blushed. And she blushed hard. She walked over and hugged him. "You're the best." She wispered.

Thayli smiled when she hugged him and hugged her back. "Thanks." He said in reply to her saying he was the best. After they hugged he opened the door and held for her. "Let's hope that Kiyoko is awake."

"Yeah." Star said, entering through the door Thayli had held open for her.
Josh was grumbling to himself as he wandered the hallways. His phone rang and he picked up, realizing it was his mother.
"Yes, mom. She just quit."
"Well then. You can let her know that until she shows some responsibility traits, she's off any jobs." His mother said proudly.
"Will do, mother." Josh answered, hanging up the phone.

((Sorry for the holdup, guys. I'll have to PM a couple people who havent' been showing up. I'll help you guys out.))
The same red-haired nurse noticed two people enter the office, who appeared to be looking for someone. "Hello, may I help you two?" she came up to them, looking at them expectantly. "There's only two people in this room, so you're looking for either Kiyoko or Renji. Which is it?"
Kiyoko could hear the nurse talking to someone, but by the time she looked towards her, her view was blocked by a strange instrument used for something with medication. "Who's at the door?" she wondered aloud.

"Ohh, um, Kiyoko." Star said, looking at Thayli then back at the nurse. She could here Kiyoko faintly in the background, and smiled. "Can we see her?" Star asked.

((Yay Sora!!)) Thayli nodded when Star asked if they could see Kiyoko. "We were there at and after the shooting if that helps." Thayli added, hoping that it would help get them in to see her.
