"Hitomi! Contain yourself, he will learn under me." She shuffled herself back to the desk and ruffled through her notes and papers. She mumbled to herself a few times, finally, "AHA! Found it!" She pulled out a big ugly rock, she chuckled to herself, "This will be fun to watch." Keiko did a few handseals and then disappear. The room was quiet, Keiko popped back behind Niame, "Swtich with the rock and then come back. Don't screw it up, because if you get stuck in the rock, there is nothing I can do." She gave a laugh and sighed, "Good luck."

((Henge no Jutsu:
Roll a 1d20. You must get an 11 or higher to successfully complete hand seal and transform into a crude image of the object. (We used a large rock) It was required of each student to successfully attempt this 5 times for the first day of training.
Cp:
Train: /5
If a student successfully performed the jutsu, he was awarded +1 Experience and -2Cp. If a student failed an attempt, he would lose -1Cp. To regain Cp they had to rest for one post to gain back +2Cp.

Okay? ))

Hitomi managed to control her wince mostly, but her fake hand moved subtly. Hitomi looked down at the hand, noticing that she had even henge'd the scar that ran across her palm. Quite a story behind that one. That's probably why her left hand itched so much when she was around Chisaki. Hitomi smiled, looking at the kid, the beads parting to show her 'sharingan' right eye. "Yeah, kid. Listen good. There's no better teacher than Keiko-sama. And there's some jutsu you don't want to screw up." Hitomi raised her left hand, waving at Niame as her left hand slowly disappeared starting with the fingers, the sleeve falling limply at her side. Hitomi winked at him with a smile.

Hitomi turned away from Niame and turned to face Keiko. Thoughts raced through her mind, in a line.
How old am I?
Periods... Why?
Chisaki... how can I show her?
Still don't feel anything...
How can I feel?
Why do I want to?
How's Gig holding up?
Mai?
Keiko?
Raisuke?
Why the hell is Raisuke on my conveyor belt?
Why the hell do I care?
Seriously... This is becoming a train of thought.
Raisuke! GET OFF MY CONVEYOR BELT!!!!
Is he gone?
Good.
Psh. boys.
He was kind of weird anyway.
SHADDUP!!!!!!!
OK
Why was I given a second chance?
Why does anyone here care?
Wait. Rewind.
"How's Gig holding up?" Hitomi barely whispered it, not wanting to say it any louder, because it might make her feel more responsible for causing him so much hurt. Not to mention Keiko... Too much stress... Hitomi should have been caught in the explosion.
Then Raisuke wouldn't have had anything to stare at.
Hitomi bit back the laugh in the back of her mind. She needed to go screw with him again. She didn't know if he even knew about her... Tastes... But was pretty sure that it would still be fun to mess with his head.
It's thoughts like that that you came here to stop.
Tons of good on that front, huh?
Good point. Shut up and fix it.
Then I miss these wonderful conversations.
Awww... How sweet. I would kiss you if it wasn't incest.
I don't mind. As long as you've been tested.
I won't tell if you don't
How... cloak and dagger...
We are a ninja, after all.

Keiko's face turned white, her eyes lost all color, and sadness surrounded her. She turned around, facing away from Hitomi. Thoughts raced through her mind, Keep it together...You can be strong, you must be strong for Hitomi. You are ninja, remember that. Somehow she managed to get color back to her face, her sparkle in her eyes returned, she turned to Hitomi, trying to read her. Something was wrong, she acted like she didn't hear her question, and smiled. "What have you been up to lately?"

~Guilt~

There were emotions. Hitomi went into her mind and slammed the lid back down on their box. Hitomi nodded softly, casting her eyes down. "I've been working. I have plans to fix my problem, and Kaijinbo-sensei seems the only person who can help me reach the realization of that goal. A puppet-master is exactly what I need." Hitomi rubbed her neck, rolling her neck to try to work the soreness out. "So far, he only scoffs at my ideas, saying that he's seen it in practice and it's almost never worth it. But I can't go for the rest of my career with just one arm. I was an inadequate ninja to begin with. I couldn't fight my own battles back then, although it's getting easier as I adjust." Hitomi sighed, becoming increasingly interested in her hand. Hitomi's voice failed her, and she continued in scarcely more than a whisper: "I've caused so much hurt. I hurt everyone that's close to me... I'm sorry..." Hitomi's mind suddenly stopped. Every thought that had been flying through it was blasted into the far recesses of her psyche. Only two things remained: Pain, and Chisaki. But while Keiko could blame her for one, --justly, so-- She could only help her with the other. But it didn't feel right to ask her. Hitomi couldn't cause so much pain to her and her love and then expect anything in return as to her own. She sighed, standing up to rid Keiko of her presence.

Niame ignored the attempt to scare him made by the second woman, Hitomi, Keiko called her. When Hitomi asked the question that made Keiko turn pale and face away from her, he became interested. He didn't think Keiko to be such an emotional person. He knew she was all talk, like most adults. He would be different, he decided. Although, he may never live to be an adult. He knew that if he ever discovered the cause of his parent's death, he'd either kill the person responsible, or die trying. It was odd to him how strongly he felt for them when he knew them for such a short, precious time. Maybe it was because he never allowed himself anyone else to love. He watched on at the two, listening to Hitomi's plan for a wooden "puppet arm." It seemed stupid to him. If you are clumsy, insufficient, or just plain stupid enought to loose a limb or cause a major injury to yourself or to just let it happen, then you should live with the consequences of it. He broke his attention away from the soap opera before him and consentrated on his new assignment. He pictured the rock in his mind, every curve and angle. He performed the handseals and was surrounded by a small cloud of smoke. Upon the clearing of the smoke, he found his sightline to be off from where it had been just a moment before. He caught a glimpse of his reflection in the window pane. He had done it. now all he had to do was complete it four more times, and he'd be on to the next assignment.

Her face fell, she looked over to Niame who made his first attempt on the jutsu and nailed it. "Good Niame, now do it four more times and you can move on to the second part. I'm not going to let you off easy Niame." It sounded like she sung his name it a creepy tone. She smiled, "I'll be back, remember, I have eyes and ears all over this academy! Don't do anything that I wouldn't do."

Keiko ran out of the classroom and caught up with Hitomi, "Eh, I didn't tell you you could go. I wasn't finished talking with you. I know it's not a rule of ninja, but haven't you ever been told it's rude to leave a conversation?" She laughed a little bit, she grabbed Hitomi's arm, the one that was ruined, now it was almost new. "Gig and I have just had some time apart. I haven't seen him for awhile now. I miss him..." She was showing her weakness she stood straight up, "just a bit. I'm getting along fine without him." She gave a smile, "Now, I know you came here for something. Would you like to tell me..." She looked back at the classroom, "back in the classroom." She batted her sparkling eyes, "Please?"

Hitomi felt a scar flare up, and turned around. "Yes, ma'am...." Hitomi sighed, stepping back into the classroom, collapsing back into the seat she had first taken. "I don't know what to do..." Hitomi's head fell into her hand, rubbing her temples with her thumb and middle finger. "I've met someone.... Every time I see them, I feel like there's an escape. I fell like there's finally hope... But..." Keiko knew about Hitomi... But she didn't know if Keiko knew just who she was talking about... Hitomi never had to live with this awkwardness before. Ki had never questioned it, they had just gone with it... But now, Hitomi was faced with a stronger feeling to a completely different challenge.... It drove her insane...

Keiko gave her a look, and then smiled, "Uhm a young boy." She gave her a little wink, "I'm just guessing here, I've had a lot of people come through my academy. Care to give me a name?" She tipped her head, sitting on a seat next to her, "Eh, come on. Don't be shy!"

Hitomi's face flushed, and she felt herself fighting back a nervous smile. Her face turned down and she whispered: "Taida, Chisaki... Formally known as Navalie..." Hitomi's hand began playing with the obi that was built into her haori... "And I don't know what to do... I don't want to mess it up... Although..." I may have already messed it up... She was halfway between laughing and crying. One she knew she couldn't do, and the other, she wasn't going to...

Niame tried to ignore the women and concentrate on training, but that was not really easy. He'd wait awhile before the next go. No point in running himself down like he did on his last assignment. He stretched and let out a yawn. He hadn't realized how tired he was. Letting his eyes flutter close for just a moment, he allowed his imagination to flow and wander. In contradictory to his appearance and attitude, he was quite creative. He allowed the faces of Kashoku, Homura, Uindo and others pass through his thoughts, characters he created. He had so many, too many in fact. He opened his eyes and shoved his imagination back into the dark corner of his mind he kept it locked away in, until he was at home in solitary. He listened on to the womens' conversation, only half hearing what they were saying.

((so whenever i do the jutsu, i lose 2 CP and to gain it back i have to do a post like this one where i do not attempt the jutsu?))

Keiko's face went blank, it all make sense, or at least it was starting too, "Why don't you start from the beginning?" She paused, "So that I can try to help you. I'm not good at these things, but I can try." she nodded her head. "Yup..." She settled down, taking off her heals and leaning back, waiting for Hitomi to continue.

((Yup, you can find your CP under your profile. Rest posts happen when you get down to one or two CP, depending on the jutsu and the timing. Rest post are 3 to 4 posts, they help you gain one half of your CP back.))

The first time I was in the village... When I was first accepted to train under you and Giglamesh-sama... We went into the desert and were pounded by Gig and each other... Hitomi smiled. Back then, the very first time I ever saw her, she was just a fresh genin, learning shunshin and patching us up when we couldn't fight anymore... I saw her then and knew there was something about her... And then..." They both knew the 'and then...' "When I came back, I started seeing more of her, or rather, noticing more of her.... I- I finally figured it out, but I don't really know what to do... She feels.... Something... And I don't want to pressure her, but I can't take this alone... Kon Is my closest friend, but she's not exactly one I can turn to for help on this... And you- I thought of what you and Gig have... I'm n-" Hitomi closed her eyes and grabbed the spot where her shoulder had been, having swallowed too hard to try to keep her voice steady, she'd pulled the sore muscles, and she stopped speaking for a moment. "When I see her, I've never lost anything, I don't need anything, I feel myself finally... Fit.... I-" Hitomi sighed... There weren't words...

Her shoulders sagged, her head drooped, her eyes facing the floor. The only time she'd ever looked like this in front of keiko -or anyone in all of Iwa, for that matter- was the first time she'd been in Keiko's office, after she'd gotten back. Did I really some all of this way... Just to die? Hitomi looked weaker than usual. She was pale, -especially for living in the streets,- she was thin -more so than she maybe should be, even given her procedure,- and there were dark circles under her eyes... She wasn't sleeping... Not anymore.... There was too much pain... She had never returned to the hospital, she'd never gotten painkillers, she'd never confided to anyone what she'd gone through... She kept everything inside, and finally it was eating away at her body... But there was someone who made it all go away. There was someone who could make her actually feel... And while it wasn't so much against her nature, it was against their nature. Everyone... It seemed Hitomi was a travesty of nature... She could live with it... But what she didn't know was if Chisaki was able to feel...
What? Love? You mimic happiness and pretend to feel love? Let alone for you? You really are too stupid to have left.

Giglamesh would walk down the hall way past keiko's room, and kept going past. He was reading something of great importance, he was the only one that had known of it. Gig was around but not as much as normal he was to busy pounding the hell out of his genin pushing them to there limit fixing them up, only to push them again. He was a great deal more feirce with those three than he ever was with the acdemy students, the blood splatters and worn down marks on the knuckles of his gloves were clear sign of this.

Keiko smiled, "Ah, Gig and I have little right now. We aren't the best example to use right now." She shook her head and took a minute to think. "However, you," She stood up and put her arms around her and sighed, "You, are strong and able to hold on to something. Ever since you came back you haven't been able to feel any emotion or even pain." She threw her arms up in the air, releasing Hitomi, "So I believe you have a good start on this. Maybe get a little closer to her, and then tell her how you feel. The worst thing is her saying no, and if you are as close as friends as you say, then she will still stick by you. I don't see why you worry."
