Eric, kindly just go sit in the corner and shut the ******** up.
Stray, Eric is one of the most active members of the RP. He's been posting as Nightmare since practically day one, when it was basically just Dark, Barbara, and Kagome just kicking it. As a result, the character has been gradually becoming more and more well established over the years.
Furthermore, aside from the cannon characters, Nightmare is the only OC that has stuck around long enough to warrant an additionally look into his background. Even then, the cannon characters are already pre-defined; we know who they are, who they used to be, and sometimes who they will become before it even happens.
As an OC, Nightmare doesn't have that luxury. Thus, his story is more detailed, more intricate, and more consuming than some of the cannon characters, because there isn't nearly a century of writing behind him to define his character. Eric, you aren't allowed to say another word in retaliation either.

Eric Coldfire Now that your curiosity has been sated, kindly STFU and mind your own sh*t before your open your trap again about things you don't understand. Be that as it may Kitana I have to side with Stray on this one, I've also been here since those halcyon days and I'm a little tired of so many stories gravitating to a single character, whomever it may be. I would also like to point out that this quote right here, qualifies as abuse

Well sure, it's good for characters to have a lot of history. My OCs have a lot of history. I just assume by default that no one really cares though and stay content alluding to it all. I guess that's my failing.
Thanks, YK.... It's nice not being alone. .-.

As for that comment, I agree with all of you. Eric, you were out of line. Apologize, right now, sincerely.

Ok, I admit I may have gone alittle too far with that, and I apologize.
And we have always done that Yoshi, every arch has made one or two characters the main focus atleast once. Maybe Nightmare wouldn't seem like a main character if more people posted more often. Nobody has complained in the X-Men rp about Deadpool becoming the main character since he seems to be making posts out the wazoo.

Deadpool is the merc with a mouth. It would be strange if he wasn't saying something every thirty seconds. Besides that, his effect on the plot so far has been negligable. He's not getting in the middle of everything and solving every problem. He's not assassinating Senator Kelly, dismantling sentinels, or otherwise leading the charge on all that is unjust. He's just doing his thing and hanging out.

I am not aware that anyone has previously complained about Nightmare stealing the spotlight, nor do I see any connection between the number of posts and the topic of a story. I do, however, see a problem with a story being rewritten for the sole purpose of bringing attention to a single character. Now I don't know if it's intentional, but when Dark asked me if I wanted to write an arc for this rp I turned it down, mostly because I felt you would end up twisting it to be about Nightmare, and I feel there is something very wrong with that.

So its Deadpool being Deadpool was he dominates a page, but if Nightmare gets into a conversation with someone, he's suddenly the unwanted center of attention?
To Yoshi: Yes, Nightmare stole the spotlight in NML... right around when Dark asked me to make Robert/Ragnarok the main villain in said arc. Did Nightmare steal the spotlight in the Queen of Fables world? No, its hard to make one character the focus when about only 3 people were posting with a total of like five characters. Fables was supposed to focus on Wonder Woman and Kitana's oc, but everyone got bored with it, stopped posting, and just wanted the arc to end.

As much as I hate to agree with Eric on this, he does have a point. Eric and I are literally the only people in this RP that DON'T go off and disappear for weeks or months at a time. Stray sticks around the OC pretty well, but other than that it feels like we're on our own most of the time. We are always here, and as long as we aren't written into a corner, we will post as our characters just to keep the damn thread going.
You wanna know why it constantly feels like Nightmare's story is being thrust into the spotlight? Its because, no matter where we are in an arch, people get bored, busy, or whatever else is going on in their lives and we're the only ones here to post. I may get alittle lax in my posting from time to time if I'm not directly involved, but I'm ALWAYS checking the OC and RP.

That's fair to say. You guys tend to keep your own thing going though. You've got Nightmare and Mira to interact, or Wonder Woman and Leonidas, so you both have someone you can always count on to be able to rp with. The rest of us tend to get caught up doing things elsewhere and sometimes end up having to wait to progress even when we're not busy. It's no fault of yours, it's just how it goes.
I'll give you this, my solemn oath that I'll post more often. Unfortunately there's really not much happening right now other than the trial, which is on some other plane of existence. There's also everyone sort of being disoriented.
Really there's nothing to bring my characters anywhere to interract with anyone unless they stumbled upon a scene by sheer coincidence. .-. My characters don't have friends.
....I'm a bad rper.

So I just read over the past few messages.. Stray@ Nightmare isn't the main focus of every arch he just tends to be active.. Eric@ I'm glad you apologized.. Yoshi@ you should consider writing one of the future archs due to having Jason as one of your characters.. Kitana@ Thank you for maintaining the peace.. I feel as if the evil horrors of contiunuing Education does reflect poorly on the RPGs themselves...

I check the occ, just don't post in the rp o.o; Because a junior lantern really has no authority. Dark was playing John, and that one jmorty guy was playing Kyler.

I recognize the art style and the pose.... After exploring the artist's gallery I realize why. Eric, I believe it will be worth it for you if you haven't yet explored the gallery.
