She giggled, suddenly hyper. She was already power drunk just watching him do that. She sighed like some love sick girl, "You got it." She disappeared with a wink and one last fall of black glitter which rained down on his head, making the dark locks glint even in the darkness.
((XD On that note, I must bid you farewell. It's near my bed time, gots to get up freakishly early tomorrow for work. XP Love, love!))

Black Diamonds and Garnet [Will we find out more about Othello's past here or in part two? I'm very curious now...]
I pray to Yule?
Lina barely contained her shock at hearing those words. No...it couldn't be...could it? Could Ashra actually have...no...
It explains why he knows our names and his candid nature towards us but still...how?
She looked over at Remus hoping that he didn't come to the same conclusion. Is this little boy...Quinn? Remus had reached the same conclusion. "You'd better not be Quinn. If you are, I may have to hurt you..." Remus growled in obvious annoyance.

Lina stayed silent, but her gaze did return to the child. If he was Quinn, then what happened to his calm nature and how did he become this?

Quinn cackled as maniacally as a ten year old could muster before quite literally disappearing as he had done so many times before. They had found their answer; they were both indeed correct. But of course, Remus was going to hurt him! Hurt a ten year old! That's hardly fair...
You were both correct! He called happily back into their minds, I am indeed your good friend Quinn. To answer your questions from a safe distance, Ashra does not know what happened nor does he have a way to explain why I might be the way I am now. It happened after my fight with you, Lina. It's either punishment for failing my test, or a gift for passing it. The limitless energy of a child...my power has greatly increased!
He didn't say anything else. He didn't need to. His only plan was to have fun now. He was going to be a kid again. He was going to be a kid, a true ten year old, for the first time in his life.

Black Diamonds and Garnet [Will we find out more about Othello's past here or in part two? I'm very curious now...] (All I'm going to say for now is that it's rather violent. wink This is setting him up for how he turns manic in part 2) Feeling the time was appropriate for movement, Othello cricked his neck sharply and turned to look straight at Vincent. "Welcome, Leader of the Ten. It is a pleasure." He bowed. "I am Othello." (Maker, I wouldn't say it's doomed... Screwed yes, but not doomed.)

[Vincent was walkng towards Signet, so he's not in the Lotus base...but we can role with it reguardless... It's interesting how everyone is discussing how doomed/screwed Signet is or will be...don't we do this every few hundred pages? lol I think its a trend we should probably continue in part two...which will be starting this week or the next.]
"Leader? Who said I was the Leader?" he asked, looking sideways at Othello, "Please call me Vincent. Such titles give people the wrong assumptions about me. I am a Leader, not the Leader." he turned to face him and gave him the small smirk from before, bit of the black glittler falling off as he did so, "But it is nice to meet you all the same."

Quinn, now ten, proceeded to wander Signet City. He had no idea what he should do with himself at that point. He was no longer a member of the Lotus Group. Although Lyra had not removed the mark herself, he could no longer feel its power upon him. Something involving his transformation was the only thing that he could come up with.
So what do I do... He thought to himself, contact juggling a small glass ball as he wandered the streets, Do I go with Ashra as was planned? Do I teach myself control as I have done for so long?
It was a decision that he would have to come to. So in order to think, Quinn found a nice bench and sat down. He didn't know where he was. It may have been Blaydon Territory, it may have been Rajen, Bastet, or Lotus, but he really couldn't care. With a soft crack of magic, he fabricated a small flute that had been given to him as a gift and began to play. It was a calming song, and it acted like a soothing draught to all those that heard it. Which, this time around, was many more than before. His new level of power carried the song throughout most all of Signet City. Who would hear? And how would they respond?

||So I think my cards in Signet City have all been played. Should I just wait for the start of part two now?||
Although Quinn did not realize, his song had indeed been caught by the wind. It was carried far away, out of Signet and across the land. It reached the ears of his sister after some time. And she knew immediately what to do. Whenever the Siddel Family Song was played and another Siddel heard it, they replied with the same song.
And to her husband's confusion, that's exactly what Mira did. Removing a flute, that looked remarkably like Quinn's, from the collection on her belt, she stepped out onto the highest balcony of their hilltop home and began to play. Using Magic similar to Quinn but still different, she sent the song along the wind as well. Quinn would hear it, she was sure.
When she was done playing, she walked back inside to a confused gaze from Stefan.
"We need to pack some things." Was all Mira could bring herself to say, "My little brother is calling for me."
Stefan smiled as he stood up and headed toward the room. He sent back the reply of, "Then pack we shall." just before he walked into the bedroom.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Quinn was not expecting an answer to his song. He especially wasn't expecting to hear it played back to him. He listened to it very closely, very happily. It brought a smile to his face to know that he wasn't the only one left. The song...it had a flair to it. His sister? Mira? Even better. She, out of all of his siblings, was his favorite. She was the most brilliant and talented, always able to figure out the solution to any situation.
"I need to speak with Yule." Quinn said to himself, "As much fun as a being a kid again may be, I don't know if I could stand being ten all the time. Perhaps he will be able to show me the way."
Quinn then Aparated off the bench and headed in the direction of Signet's Grand Clock Tower. No, he didn't actually know that that was where his god had been hiding. But he did know that it would be easiest to speak to Yule from there.

"Lodae... the ice in here... reminds me. Ice, snow, water, Torrent..."
"Ah. The knowledge of the two tells me that Torrent is your brother. I see, you must be sad, it has been six thousand years..."
"Lodae, how did I get here? Wouldn't it be easy to do the same thing again?"
"Karrot, what happened with you was an accident, one that is not easily replicated, It may take years to get the enchantation formula correct."
"Lodae, I don't plan on going anywhere for a while, but if we can get it to work, I want him to maintain the age difference between us, he needs to be my older brother still."
"But what would you do when he arrived, is there anything that the two of you would do to rebuild your brotherhood?"
"I had one idea... We would go on a journey. To relearn this world. And before returning, to find the centuries-lost cities of the Dwarves, to see if there are any left, or if we would be the last."
"Your quest is noble, I will help you. I will give the two who are one the knowledge they will need to help to research a way to bring him here."
Lodae and Karrot stood looking at each other for a moment. Then Karrot held out his hand, and Lodae took it.
[Well, I'm all ready for part 2]

Othello nodded curtly. "My apologies Vincent. I most likely misinterpreted some things I heard, or else I've been hearing things again... Speaking of that though, I must bid you farewell for now." It was all he could do to keep his composure as he turned and went up to his room. Once the door was locked behind him he finally let loose with all the energy of his literally tortured soul. Almost everything in the room instantly shattered from being instantly frozen as a miniature blizzard soon formed around Othello. He wanted so much to pay back in kind those who had scarred him for life... And yet it would never happen. Upon meeting Remus in Petrograd, Othello thought he had a way out of the struggle he had within himself. His morals wouldn't let him needlessly kill, but the torment he had gone through and invisible scars left made this ideal problematic to live by. So he decided the best route for him was to go to where he wouldn't be able to act upon the voices... Even if he was driven insane by them.

Remus sat down on the bed as Quinn left. Still not in the best of moods. He rubbed his temples and tried to ignore everything.

[lol Vincent is actually leaving now and I might be poofing the Ten towards the center of Signet (Where Fiora's tomb is) and atleast prepare for her Awakening if no one else begins the movement. Things are going to go pretty fast people if I want to make my deadline for tomorrow so if anyone has something special they need to tie up her, they better do it today. And now off to Vincen'ts beatdown...er...welcome party!]
Vincent watched Othello go with a slightly renewed interest before the inevitable pull of other interests sent him moving towards the Lotus base entrance. He lightly patted Moneko, who was now in her childish form, sending a silent message to her in an instant before finally moving out the door.
Signet's Flame must be relit...
Moneko gave him a silent nod as quie literally faded away as the First Leader left the base with his first true use of magic since he came...by the use of shadow teleportation. He stepped into a large shadow near within the alley containing the base and seemed to drop into it, his form causing the smallest of ripples within the darkness. He resurfaced within the total darkness of Merlin's room, his body slowly reforming to his former form.
He looked at her quietly, eyes darker than dark, almost glowing from the lack of light within the room, "Merlin."
