"Well with Nina probably screwing up the spells, I'm guessing zero to none," Yuta smirked, remembering all the times Nina's messed up a spell of some sort, resulting in an explosion or some other sort of backfire.

"Not useless," Yuta said a little sharper than intended, he was the only one allowed to make fun of Nina in his mind, "just clueless. I used to have a crush on her, but it didn't work out. I was too much of a stud and she...kinda was off in her own little world like she normally is...and wasn't too interested in relationships. So I went out with her friend instead!" Sure he was stretching the truth, so maybe he did blackmail Nina with breaking Ayu's heart so that she would hook him up with Ayu for a little tour around the city, but when he told kids at school it was a date, they believed every word of it.

Kimiko flinched a bit at Yuta's tone, recognizing the "You can't do that, only I can!" air about it. "Sorry..." she apologized. "Well, did you ever just tell Nina how you felt?"

Yuta shook his head, "Nah, I was usually being too much of a jerk to find the time. But it's alright, she's really happy with Jack, so I'm okay with that. My time will come," he struck a pose, "Besides, with these looks and my new muscles from fighting in this world I'm bound to be the main attraction when I get back home. Ayu will be sorry she left me for Tetsushi."

"Luck? I don't need luck, I'm just plain irresistible," Yuta grinned, he was half-joking on all accounts, the other half was just his ego breaking free to annoy and terrorize the general public.

If Kimiko had been in her own world and not seperated from her friends, she would have been put off by the display of ego. As it was, she welcomed the similarity between Yuta and one of her friends. Laughing, she replied with, "Your ego's almost as big as Omi's!" Then, realizing he wouldn't get the joke, continued. "He thinks he's the most magnificent at everything! ...Except slang."

"And I'm not bad with human slang, so I win against this Omi guy," Yuta smirked. His ego was a little bruised at Kimiko calling him out on his big ego, but he just let it roll off.

"You should hear some of the things he says!" Kimiko continued. "Like, instead of 'get the lead out,' he'll say, 'remove the lead.' And there are sometimes where everything just stops, and we all sit there and try to figure out what the heck he just said."

"Haha, sounds a lot like when Nina was trying to learn how to speak human," Yuta laughed, "See, we have a different language in the Magic Kingdom, so when going to the human world you need to know how to speak English, Japanese, or whatever. Since Nina wasn't that great with magic when she first came, she messed up the spell so she talks funny at times. Of course, I got the spell perfect, so I was able to learn your slang."

"Omi's got a different excuse," Kimiko began. "He was raised in the temple with a bunch of older monks, and never met anyone his own age 'til the rest of us arrived. They have a very formal way of speaking there, although you wouldn't guess that with the way Dojo talks! Dojo's the temple dragon."

"You find a dragon interesing? There are plenty of those back i my world, among other demons, that cuse nothing but touble for us. Though I do find it queer that you would have a dragon in temple considering it's size and the way they normally act..."
