you know your a band nerd when you can carry on a convorsation with one of your directors the entier way to san antonio (from dallas >.>) my friend did this...i think our director just wanted her to shut the hell up xd

- you see the football players oing to practice and ask them what the hell they ar doing on your marching field (ive done this XD)
- you have realized that all 4 of you directors names start with a J
-have used the school bell to tune the timpani, knowing that: a) it is perfectly in tune, and b) it is a B natural
-the band website is your homepage

you know you're a band nerd when you care more about your instrument and comfort it when the creepy guy in your section bad mouths it or when the creepy kid asks if you prefer him or your instrument as a friend and you straight out answer the instrument....(raises hand...guilty....on both charges)

-You build your entire schedule around band, including whether or not you take AP.
-You dowload Limewire for the sole purpose of dowloading music that your band is playing.

The Jolly Glomper Nappy You know you're a bando when you go into your scheduling meeting for next year and the counselor already has you signed up for band.
And nothing else.
-You build your entire schedule around band, including whether or not you take AP.
-You dowload Limewire for the sole purpose of dowloading music that your band is playing.i iwsh i could DL limewire for my shows! you know you're a band nerd when music camp is the only thing you look forward too. especially when graduation was two days away... guilty! i was more worried about going to camp than making it to the HS on time go shuttle over to the MS for grad!!!! you know you're a band nerd when you're dating someone you met at music camp four years ago and think that they're instrument is sexy, but your's is even sexier and sound much prettier for either jazz or classical or rock!(guilty guilty! my b/f plays bari, tenor and alto sax and i play flute! i can make jazz sound awsome and classical very pretty without accompianment! also rock is just a natural feature to add to my repitore.lol!)

You know you're a band nerd when you fight with someone over weather the note is a flat or a natural. I had that happen to me. I was in Washington D.C. for a parade, or music had D flats in it, one of the kids in my section was playing a D natural, I kept telling him that it was a flat, 5, but hes all "No, it 4" I'm like. "Thats a natural, the note is a flat wich is 5" We fought over it for about 10 minutes, then I finally showed him the music and he realized that is was infact a flat, 5, insted of a natural, 4.

-You have taken your instrument out and played old pep tunes in the cafeteria for lack of a better reason to play other than YOU HAD TO!!! (see addiction statement above)
