Aya brought the water up quickly and struck it out once again, but with less precision and mostly out of anger. That type of focus was not Aya's goal. She had performed the worse try out of the entire day. It looked as if she had no control of her chakra at all. She felt ashamed at the fact that she let her frustration get the best of her. Aya sighed and took a deep breath. She would wear herself out a little too quickly if she kept on like that.

After taking a moment to clear her mind and think the exercise through once again, Aya waited until she was ready to try again. When she was, she brought the water up carefully with her chakra moving it through the air. She didn't get it perfect, but it was much better than last time. If she just worked her way up instead of going for it right away, she was sure she'd get it sooner that way.

With that bit of good vibes and motivational sent through her mind, Aya felt a lot better and moved the water as perfectly as she had imagined. It was just as her mother had shown. A smile crossed the girl's face, which hadn't in quite the while. She moved the water around once again and smiled. "I can do it!" she announced cheerfully.

In an ideal situation, well... in an ideal team, he would be with Aya and maybe someone else like Kohki-san. Or was it more tactical to have Myobi-san, a genjutsu user? Yeah, he could take care of the taijutsu, Aya the ninjutstu, and Myobi-san the genjutsu. Wait, that was too simple a plan. Shinichi frowned and scratched his head. This was really hard. He gave in, if only for the moment, and took off running once more. This time he would be so sneaky as to not even make that puddle ripple.

Shinichi bit his lip and lowered himself down until he was sitting the traditional way. This method was always good for the clearing the mind... and focussing on the task at hand, no matter how daunting. He breathed slowly out of his nostrils and enjoyed the sounds of the world around him.

T'would all be better soon, he told himself. Although the training and use of chakra was difficult on him, Shinichi had to admit that he loved the very idea of the Shunshin no Jutsu. It was like a technique made for him... made for all shinobi, actually.

Shinichi rubbed his eyes and yawned. He stood up as tall as he could, although there was a slight slouch in his back from repeated periods of rest and training. Looking around, he sighted a simple leaf that looked like it was about to fall. The boy stretched out his legs, then took off on a running start towards the leaves. He directed chakra to his feet and flew by as quickly as he could while remaining absolutely stealthy.

Perfect. Shinichi sighed happily and slid down onto the ground. If only, if only he sighed. The training were easier and the resting a bit fast. Cause don't we all just woooork until we drop? If only, if only he had more chakra.

By the looks of it at the moment, he was fairly stealthy and could soon sneak up on common objects with ease. Aye, it would be very soon. Shinichi played with a blade of grass, ripping up three to form the symbol on his hitai-ate. A village as grand as Kusagakure required powerful shinobi... and he would be there to answer the call.

Shinichi rose and closed his eyes, allowing the chakra to flow naturally to his feet. If he wanted to truly muffle his footsteps, he would need to cover his feet from all over, but just enough as to not drain his chakra that badly, which was clearly a problem. He formed the sign of the dragon, for power and leadership, and took some time this try to get the amount of chakra just right. There, that should do it. The boy testing his try by jumping, then dashed right up a tree.

He had barely made it, but it was enough to qualify as a successful try. Shinichi let out a long breath and sank back into the trodden mix of grass and dirt, his sweat soaked hair sticking to his forehead. Patience... patience... it was so easy to think about something like that in the best of times, but more than difficult to live what you learned when it really mattered. Shinichi mumbled something and tucked his head into his chest. Just a little longer, now.

Shinichi leaned back, thinking there was a tree or something behind him. He winced as his head hit a root and moved around until he found a comfortable place to rest. Looking upwards at the passing clouds,. Shinichi gazed dreamingly at the obscure figures above him. There were all kinds of shapes, most being symbols that he, only he, recognised.

After rising to get the blood pumping in his limbs, the boy found a stream and splashed his face with water. He wasn't quite ready to go all out on training just yet and his body was definitely in no condition to go on a mission, but he could attempt to finish this light stealth training. Shinichi instinctively reached behind his back for the shinai, but felt nothing, only the sheath where his sword used to be. Ah, that was it! He had discarded the tattered weapon back at Smi-san's shop. Shinichi nodded to himself and scaled a tree. He looked for a good pace to land, then directed chakra to his feet and leapt down, landing in a crouch.
