also when you think about it

also its not written by square but approvedIt may be the case of Tifa, but it talks about Cloud and Tifa throughout the novel. rolleyes I agree that when Case of Tifa went out, the hints grew. Even in "The Maiden" in shows more of a Cloti than Cleris. Not only that, but Aeris pretty much gave in, "I'm a little jealous, but take care of him...." Or something to that extent. And when Aeris thought about Cloud, Zack suddenly appears. Why? Because Cloud inherited Zack's personality, she came to know and love more of Zack than Cloud. Ironic, but true.

she is not giving up she just realizes that
shes not going to come back to life and be able to take care of cloud
in the physical world
she wants to take of him because she knows that really shes the only one who can take of him
beyond the physical extent
I just hope you all realize that clerith views go beyond
worldly boundaries
and if some people are too naiive and narrow minded as to not understand that
I dont wanna waste my time expressing my views

although i'm a cloti fan...i will say neither tifa, aeris, nor yuffie......the game did hint somewhat....okay, maybe more than somewhat.... (not so sure about yuffie though)....we the gamers/players/final fantasy fans just like to link those hints together and voila...we have ourselves two possible couples that people might be forever debating over (and get nowhere).....>>>i;m sure there are a lot of evidence of feeligns of cloud for *insert name here* , but we are only "sure" of tifa's and maybe aeris' feelings for cloud (again, not so sure about yuffie) but not really cloud's feelings............. neutral

I don't think he really had any interest in yuffie, but in Tifa and Aeris he had to choose. Of course Tifa was his childhood friend so that set a foundation between them. But when Aeris came along with her flirting, Cloud grew more fond of her. So between the two I would say Aeris. Too bad she died, now Tifa can make her move.

onishi-kuri sweatdrop so we pretty much agree CLoud didn't Like Yuffie That depends, are we going by the storyline or who Cloud took on a date in the game? If it's the latter, I always had Cloud date Yuffie- namely because she's MY favourite.

Personally, I am more of a Cloud x Aerith person. Why, you may ask? Well, let me make a short little list because I suck at describing things.
I believe opposites attract. Cloud and Tifa are extremely similar. They seem to have more of a brother/sister or mother/son relationship than anything. Hmm, I could write in minute detail, but I am a lazy kid who has a whole lot of extra credit to do. So, if I may, I shall just leave it at that.
ORLY? So why did Cloud call Aerith mother? Oh yes, I'm QUITE sure that any man who had just been shot, combusted, and was now floating in an otherworldy place, in a comatose state, (with his eyes shut, no less) would be PERFECTLY lucid enough to tell who was taking care of him. rolleyes
I believe Nomura has also stated that Tifa is a mother figure for Cloud, or summat...In Case of Tifa, wasn't there a line where it said Tifa had "motherly" feelings for Cloud? And that Cloud looked like a boy who had been caught with his hands in the cookie jar? I haven't read Case of Tifa for a long time, but I'll have to check up....Cloud and Tifa do NOT have the best communication; she didn't know he was living in Aerith's church, among other things. Cloud and Aerith have wonderful chemistry, and are indeed opposites...But just enough that they balance each other out. Cloud also seems to be able to open up more under Aerith's influence.
Erm. Don't mind my random drabblings. ^^;;; That was poorly written, wasn't it?

xD Hahaha, thanks. <3 Now THIS is canon:  D: Oh, and one thing I'd like to say...In neutrality, you could argue that Cloud seems to see both Tifa and Aerith as mothers....In a slight sense...xDD I found the quote about Tifa's motherly feelings thing. xD "Yes, it was similar to the feelings a mother would have. Tifa walked Cloud outside and was enjoying the new feeling that was blooming in her." Erm. I think that's right. sweatdrop Although, I'm really just giving my opinion~! I like Cloud x Tifa as a mother-son and/or sister-brother relationship. X3 If it were sister-brother, then Tifa would definitely come off as the older sibling, theoretically speaking. :3
