I play the Tuba (primary instrument, w00t w00t!). Sousaphone in pep band. And, as my secondary instrument in Jazz, I play the Bass Trombone. (BASS Trombone. Don't mess it up with the trombone. BASS trombone). And the regular tenor trombone, the baritone/euphonium (it's a mix of the Tuba and trombone, of course I can play it. Duh)... should they be counted as separate instruments...? :/
And... I think that's about it. biggrin
I'm section leader... of my Tuba section... x3... that consists of two people. D:
(And the other dude kinda... sucks... GIRL POWER!!!! >: D)

I play the trombone. But I can play bits and pieces on a 4 valve tuba or baritone. It is funny. The lesson group in my school is two trombones, a baritone and a tuba. So we all end up learning each other's instruments.

I play the tuba for my concert band and jazz band, but I'll probably learn how to play trombone in the future.

triple3 oy, I played flute for six years, then my band director got the great idea of switching me to trombone, talk about opposites, I still dont know how to read base clef, though I have only been playing for about a month... stressed sweatdrop Don't worry, you'll get it eventually with some practice. I have a friend who was playing trumpet and French horn, and had to play baritone for marching band this year. He still doesn't know bass clef, so I transposed some things for him, as the valve combinations and whatnot are the same as on trumpet. It took me quite a while to learn bass clef to play trombone in jazz band my freshman year, but I got it eventually. It's worth it, really. ;P

Sousa and Concert Tuba!!! In my marching band we had 6 Sousaphones...which is a lotttttt for high school. It was great! Everyone makes fun of me cuz I'm a girl and I'm really small. Well compared to the sousa at least. All the guys who play sousa and concert tuba are huge compared to me. I love tuba!

No one looked it up? What is this... A "Here is my life story" Section? I don't care what your say. There are 3 Low Brass Instruments. Tuba, Baritone, and Trombone. Sure, maybe there are different versions, but they're the same. It's like saying I play BBb Tuba And F Tuba... They're both Tubas. If you look at the more recent posts, most of them are " I ply Tubea and susaphonee n i plyy tmbone" most with two word responses. I'm pretty sure this is a "read+respond" thread, not a "Read+Reply "Cool" Thread. >_>

I play 3 valve euphonium and trombone, but I don't exactly play t-bone in the band anymore. I still play all of my music for euphonium on t-bone, though... I'm thinking of trying the tuba, but my parents would kill me for the amount of money it would cost, and I wouldn't be able to move it...
