haha yeah...the most neriest name for it. I play bass clarinet, and his name is Heinrich Grenser (I call him Heinrich, unless he dies one me, which he does alot) after the 2nd earliest known inventor. The first was G. Lott, but there was no first name listed *tear* I'm so nerdy...

My old flute was named Sir Sticksalot because the keys would always stick >w< and my new flute is named Georgie Porgie ^^

My Bassoon is Basil. He's even got a wify bassoon, Lavendar, and they had a baby bassoon, Rosemary.
And they had another baby... but it's unnamed as of yet. Suggestions?

MY guitar's name is Zack. I don't know why, but one day my friend came in, and looked at my guitar and said, " Where's Zack?" I was like WHAT?! but then she pointed my guitar, so it's been named that ever since.

My bassoon is Alfred, I swear he told me so, it just popped into my head one day. He tells me stories too, when I play pretty etudes. And my double bass is Todd, after Sweeny Todd. Damn, I sound crazy!

I named my alto sax Vito mainly because thats the brand it is. nothing special.

I named my Sousaphone Sputnik after the 50th or somwhat anniversary of it's launch this year, my concert tuba Sir Drone and my trumpet Ol' Rough and Ready.

Yes, my instruments do! My old clarinet was named "Clary" (original, I know.) and my new one is named Ray, for "Ray of Sunshine." My saxophone is named Bob, short for "The music produced my this saxophone makes me Bob my head." That'd probably be more relevant to a drum, but whatever. Maybe I could rename my snare drum Bob and name my sax Mikey, for "I don't need a Mike, I have this loud saxophone!" Oh yeah, my friend's sax is Gee, for "Gee this saxophone is awesome," and my other friend's flute is named Frankie, for "Frankly, I don't care what you say, I love my flute." Her trombone is Jamia. yeah, we're MCR obsessed band geeks. sweatdrop
