It's actually really funny, though, cause right now Owle thinks Vahn doesn't care much about her. If he cared for her, he'd be near her, protecting her, not running off doing whatever. Or if he was running off doing whatever, he'd tell her that he was and why he had to.

I didn't want to go tagging along with you, Rage and whoever else because the atmosphere was already tense to begin with and like Flare, I thought there was gonna be a big group centered around you to begin with.
Vahn does have his own reasons being on Gambino in the first place so he got caught up in this secondary, and he did make a 'contract' with Owle.
What he plans to do or how he does it to acheive his own goals and fulfill the contract is for everyone else to find out.
And he isn't the type of person to really open up to anyone, let alone give updates or whatever.

I understand your/his reasons...I'm just saying, Owlie has no clue, so she thinks Vahn doesn't care.
