The piece of food caught like a hardened lump in Slaine's throat with the whisper, the hot breath tickling his ear. The kiss was like a sudden force pushing it down into his stomach. It was odd. The pancake was doughy on the outside, but had a burnt crisp on the inside. How did that happen? Even with Mizi's assurance that he didn't have to finish the breakfast, he couldn't push away the thought that it might hurt the boy's feelings.. but could he really bring himself to finish the whole plate? Snatching up the glass on the nightstand, he down the juice. "Don't worry," he said, setting the plate down and coming to his feet. "I didn't plan to really wear these out anywhere. Not today at least. It wouldn't make that much of a fashion statement on my behalf." Without thought, the dark-haired boy stripped his shirt off, already in the process of changing. "Would you be up for Italian?"

Mizi's hand had just closed around the door knob when he heard the question. Turning around slightly, Mizi began to reply, "Slaine, I'm up for whatever you like. I love I..tal..i--" As violet hues became stuck on the other's chest, Mizi blushed. Why couldn't he just.. wait until the brunette left the room to change. He was trying so hard to just resist any temptation with regards to the other male and Slaine didn't seem to feel like making it easy for him. "You know what? I-I'm just gonna go. Italian's fine- great, whatever you like. Not that I don't like Italian. I l-love Italian. I-Italian's very good. There's this little place called Capallini downtown. It's got great pasta. If you want to go there, we can. I'm going to go get another hot waiter to cover our shifts now. You just take a sh---" The drink mixer couldn't seem to stop his babbling mouth. Flushing with the delayed realization that he had just said 'hot waiter' instead of just 'waiter' or 'person', Mizi turned the doorknob, and rather desperately fled from the room. Mostly chuckling from hysteria, he moved through the house to find other boys to cover their shifts. 'Oh. GOD, I'm stupid. I shouldn't even be going out today with him. Is this.. kind of like a date? THIS IS NOT A DATE. Why the heck did I just think it was? He must think I'm crazy. I really hope he didn't notice my comment was in reference to him. Oh, perfect. He doesn't even like me. It's Shinto he's crying about. That's all this is... a day to help keep his mind off of ... him. And you're FINE with that Mizi. You hear me? No kissing his cheek... darn it! Why did I even DO that?!'
Mizi continued to reprimand and convince himself to not fall for Slaine or do anything suggestive as he began his little search.

It didn't take long for the handsome blonde to find the place, even with his limited knowledge of the city itself. People knew about it. Some less that others, maybe, but they knew. They all knew. So, in that way, did he finally get the address. As he walked, he stared at the little piece of paper in his hand, wondering about it. Wondering if what he was doing was really the right thing. But nomatter. He had heard too much so far about this place to go back now. He had to find out.
Within an hour, he was there, staring at the front door, unsure of how to proceed. After a long moment of hesitation, he reached out with slender, shaking fingers and grasped the handle, then let his hand fall once more. What was he afraid of? What did he have to lose? Finally, as if making up his mind, he reached out once more, set his knuckles to the wood and knocked sharply.

Mizi was walking across the foyer to reach another hallway of the boys' rooms when he heard the sharp knock. Turning his head toward the front door, the pretty brunette approached the entry and pulled open the door with a tug. His gaze fell on the handsome blonde in the doorway. "Can I help you?" he inquired with the most casual and pleasant voice he could muster.

His eyes, strikingly blue, surveyed the boy with gently scrutiny, and a soft, charming smile crossed his fair face, lighting up his features. A hand was lifted, brishing strands of stubborn golden hair from his face, and he nodded slightly and lifted the other hand in greeting.
"Hello..."
The man says in a smooth, flirtatious tenor, seeming oddly unsure of how to start.
"I..."
After another moment of hesitation, he takes a deep breath and looks the younger one in the eyes.
"I'm looking for a job."
Whether or not this statement holds any suggestion is most pointedly left up to the other's imagination, as the man's face holds nothing but gentle good-humor.

Most other boys in the house would've been wondering why a good-looking, seemingly well-off man wanted a job in a harem, but Mizi simply looked at him for a few moments. He held the other's blue gaze and then smiled. Pulling the door open to permit entry, he beckoned the potential employee to walk through the door way. "Come in."
Once inside, the drink mixer could hardly ignore how attractive the newcomer was. He hadn't missed the flirty tone with which the blonde spoke. Extending a hand, he introduced himself, "Hi. I'm Mizi. I'll take you to see Lady B, but please excuse the vibe in the house. We've had... an incident as of late and haven't quite gotten over it." His tone was kind as he began to walk up the stairs, once again beckoning the blonde to follow. But Mizi's voice held the 'don't ask questions' concept.

The man simply nodded and followed the boy upstairs, watching perhaps a bit too intently how he walked, but retaining his tone of politeness just the same.
"Lady B... is she the one who runs this place?"
He spoke tentatively, seeming to completely overlook the boy's 'incident' comment. His eyes traveled from the other's back to the walls surrounding him, to the carpet, then back to the other, seeming completely at ease, albeit a bit curious about where he was being led.

Mizi turned down the hallway once they reached the second floor. "Yes, she owns and runs the Gentlemen's Club," he nodded slightly with another smile, "She's quite the lady. She's taken good care of many of us, including myself, for years. Of course, it's not as if we don't work for her. But she's a fair boss. I like her very much." He glanced over at the handsome blonde as he continued to walk. "I actually am not sure how she feels about hiring currently, but I think you have a good chance if you really want the job," he commented before adding cheerfully, "You're certainly cute enough for it!" Mizi, of course, wasn't intentionally meaning to flirt. He was merely trying to be friendly and encouraging. "By the way, do you have a name?" he asked.
It wasn't long before the two males were standing outside of Lady B's door. The brunette knocked softly on the door. "Lady B?" he called, "It's Mizi."

That same, slight grin continued to play on the man's lips the entire walk, and when he was complimented it only grew wider, reaching his eyes and making them glitter with an inner glow.
"Thank you... so I'm told... and..."
He added, his eyes sweeping appraisingly over the boy's body.
"You're not half bad yourself."
The comment was delivered unflinchingly, and his grin continued to play, although the glimmer in his eyes showed something more than just... good nature. An alluring, almost predatory flirtation shone within those deep azure pools, and even as he surveyed the boy, the look only got stronger, only to be interrupted by the question.
"Hm? Ah. Johann. Call me Johann."
The hunger, which seemed so apparent a second before, was gone, and he smiled brightly.
"And you are... Mizi! Cute name."

Mizi found himself blushing with the returned compliment. "Oh? Well.. er.. thank you," he replied quietly, "I suppose that's a bit required for my line of work though..." He offered a small smile.
In the few moments of silence between two, the sweet brunette couldn't help but look over at the blonde. He noticed the look in the slightly older male's eyes for a fleeting moment and was a little unnerved by it. Men almost always looked at him like that when they wanted something. But before he could give it any more thought, Johann was smiling cheerfully at him. That bright, uplifting smile that Mizi had so longed to see on the other boys' faces within the house. That smile which even Slaine couldn't offer him today.
Apparently, Johann's smile was contagious because Mizi soon found himself unable to suppress one of his own. No more thought was given to the hungry stare he had received only moments before. "Thanks, Johann. Is that french or something?"

A ringing, merry laugh echoed down the hall as it escaped him and even as it subsided, a smile remained in it's place.
"I... really couldn't tell you. My father named me."
With that, the boy would find himself being looked over again, in a much more gentle fashion, as the continued smile on the man's pretty face expressed him approval.
"Mizi..."
He seemed to muse.
"It suits you. It's cute like you are."
A slight, flirtatious grin was offered and he turned his attention back to the door of the room which held the infamous Lady B.

Mizi nodded with the older male's response. He was used to hearing people refer to their parents. With exception of a few lonely moments here and there, the 21-one-year old hardly thought of his parents at all. He didn't really remember them; he was so young when they died. In fact, he wasn't quite sure Mizi was his real name.
The brunette could see he was being taken in by the other quite plainly. This didn't bother him so much anymore-- people looking at him, that is. He still didn't think he'd ever understand what others found appealing about him. The use of his name brought him out of his short reverie. Gazing back at those deep blue eyes, he raised his eyebrow in question. The compliment was only met with another light blush and a little chuckle. "Oh... thank you," he replied with a slight awkwardness.
Not once tearing his eyes from the blonde, Mizi knocked again.
"Lady B, there's someone here to see you. Are you there?" he called.

The man called Johann simply waited and watched, shamelessly appraising the other, but at times breaking his gaze to look about the place.
"It's... nice here..."
He said lamely, trying to make conversation. He had gotten out of practice, what with the few years he spens hiding in his apartment with a paintbrush. Nomatter. He had the feeling he would soon be as "in shape" as he ever was.
