 H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________[Hawkpaw smiled, seeing as how good Thunderpaw's mood was today. Lately, there'd been so much negative pressure on them all, and it took its toll on everyone. Anyway, he watched her shoulder with widening eyes, suprised at her words.]
“Of course it can get infected! That's probably why it's all swollen and red like that! You need to see Starpelt...” [But then he saw how absolutely happy, and pensively melancholic, she was at the thought of sharing stories, and Hawkpaw immediately cursed himself for even using such a worried tone with her. He quickly thought up something to say.] “Well, I'd love to hear these stories of yours, truly I would, but we need to get your shoulder inspected.”
[He tried to stand up, feeling his numb legs throb in protest. He stumbled awkwardly, his limbs shivering, and tried to walk towards Starpelt's den, flicking his tail for Thunderpaw and Moonkit to follow.]

[I huffed irritably.]"What if we wake Starpelt from her nap?" I protested. But, pausing, I admitted, "...but you're probably right. I don't want to get a bad infection."
[Thinking to myself quietly, I hesitated, and then suddenly jumped up and ran cheerfully after Hawkpaw.]
Offering him my shoulder for support, I said softly, "Whoa there now, warrior. You need to make sure you don't strain your healing legs."
[I blinked warmly, and quickly held him up, pushing gently with my good shoulder.]

Being around Thunderpaw made him feel happy, and yet, jealous. Of course, it was an immature jealousy, dealing with how close she was to becoming a warrior, and how far off he still was. He shoved the feelings aside and tried to support himself, rather than bother Thunderpaw with his weight.]
“But if I don't excercise them, then they feel all stiff and numb.” [He sighed and pushed himself to walk, hoping he looked a bit more...brave.] “Well, the point remains that we need to get your shoulder looked at. After all, how will you train with Silverstar if you're crippled with that infection?”
[He flashed her a lightly mocking grin, though half of it was just a wince from the pain in his legs.]

 Moonkit
[Moonkit watched the two apprentice's with bitter happiness.
Though the tom's words had warmed her heart, she still felt very far away from the two.
She twisted her head away, not wanting them to see hat expression on her face.]
"Excuse you two. If you don't mind, I'll take my leave." she bowed her head stiffly and began to pad away.
[She needed some time alone.
To embrace the fights still ahead.
She could feel both their gazes on her pelt but she willed herself to put paw, in front of paw.
Wrenching her gaze from the floor she stood still for a moment.]
"Air.. I need some air... she murmured before dashing out of the clearing.
[One last thought hit her mind before she left..]

[Brightspirit watched as the small kit ran out of the clearing]
"Is she going to be alright?"
[Riverfang shrugged his black shoulders]
"I don't know"

[I snorted.]"Well, I'll be fine, so don't worry," I mewed confidently. "And if you insist."
[I stepped back quickly, making Hawkpaw stumble slightly.]
Grinning, I said cheerfully, "Excercise them all you want!"
[Suddenly, I turned and listened to Moonkit, whose face was turned away. I blinked, watching her dash away.]
Glancing at Hawkpaw, I murmured quietly, "Something's wrong...I know it."
[I blinked, swishing my tail, and took a step forward to go after Moonkit. Suddenly, my wound ripped unexpectedly, and I let out a hiss as the air stung it. Blood trickled down my shoulder.
It seemed that it would have ripped open at any moment.]
"Looks like I'm not going anywhere either," I sighed.
[I winced, checking the wound. Blood seeped from it slowly but surely. I licked it, wincing again at the sharp pain.]

 Icestorm nodded. "yes, thats fine. dont worry, im sure you will be able to catch up despite your injury. you should get some rest though. a medicine cats word is like the leaders... you must follow without question. lesson number two." Icestorm told her apprentice. she licked his ears affectionately and comfortingly almost like a sister, before padding to Riverfang. "ah... sure." Icestorm said. Silverclaw nodded twitching her tail.

L u s t e r k i t "Shine like a bright star on a stormy night."________________________ [Lusterkit tumbled out of the nursery, his sister behind him. Since Redkit's recent death, Lusterkit and Snowkit grew very close. Lusterkit ran up to Icestorm and prowled around behind the warrior, unseen. His pupils enlarged, his eyes locked on her twitching tail.
And then he pounced. He expected a shrill wail to erupt from Icestorm as he mrrowed happily.] ________________________________________________

IceStorm felt someone pounce on her tail. *ah.. kits.* she thought to herself. She turned to see Lusterkit and purred. "Hello little warrior." She said to Lusterkit with a smile.

L u s t e r k i t "Shine like a bright star on a stormy night."________________________ [Lusterkit purred at Icestorm's praise. He rolled over and batted happily at her paws, but soon got bored and prowled around her in a circle, eyes darting up to look at her now and then.]
"And you're my prey!" Lusterkit mewed.
[Lusterkit leaps up, paws outstretched but claws sheathed, and landed on her back. He played with her ears, her broad shoulders making it easy for him to balance.]
"I'm practicing my fighting skills!" Lusterkit proclaimed to the Clan.
((Lulz, I can sooo see this actually happening. I've laughed for like 10 minutes at this scene! XD)) ________________________________________________

Icestorm laughed as Lusterkit jumped onto her back. "oh? im sure even the bravest will turn tail when they see the mighty Lusterkit!" Icestorm said. She twitched her tail from side to side.

"Oomph!"
[Lusterkit staggered back up, dazed. It was a long fall to the ground! He purred at Icestorm's comment and looked up at her towering above him, his fluffy tail waving back and forth.]

IceStorm purred. She licked Lusterkit's head the way a sister would. "Of course. you will be a strong warrior. im sure that if you try your best and work hard your name will be known in all of the clans." she said.

He stood up, watching the hustle and bustle of the Clan around him, meanwhile playing with Icestorm's tail. He looked up sharply when he heard Dawnthistle call him. A scowl spread across his face.]
"'Bye, Icestorm. Dawnthistle's calling me. See you later!"
[Lusterkit scampered into the nursery, his fluffy tail held straight in the air. He and his tail vanished into the nursery.]
