Nodding, Dusk walked over to him, her instinct of staying silent came through as she practically glided soundlessly to him. When Dusk reached him, she didn't say a word. Thoughts were running rampant in her mind as her face was a blank facade. Something was wrong, and she needed to fix it. Dusk knew that someone was after her, and she figured that she knew who that person was...
Talon looked around, sighing. "Damnitt..." He muttered, "She's so freakin stubborn..."

Dusk came near and he relaxed abit. "I'm...I'm sorry Dusk. I...Something..." He didn't know where to start. She was being unusually quiet. Maybe she had some bad news for him. Maybe she couldn't be with him because of what happened. "Dusk?" His mind reeled at the thought of her not being around him. He reached up to touch her cheek. Pain laced through him but he ignored it.

Dusk sighed, but had to stop herself from leaning into his touch. Looking into Kyoshi's eyes, Dusk waited for him to say what he wanted to say. I'm sorry, Kyoshi. I'm so sorry, but I can't do this...I can't let you die while he looks for me...
She had figured that it was her brother that was looking for her. More than likely that was who Casanova was working with.

Clearing his throat he opened his blood shot eyes more. "Dusk. I'm sorry." He cleared his throat again. "They, got to me. I just came back to the apartment after a job with Gambler and then fell asleep. Something tried to...control me but I couldn't stop it. It caught me off guard. I...." He didn't know what else to say. Her being quiet unnerved him. "What's wrong?"

"What?" Dusk was beginning to feel everything fade off away from her. Kyoshi was there, yet he wasn't. It was odd, and starting to make her feel sick. "Are you going to be ok?" Dusk figured that Kyoshi would be ok. But what would happen if this happened again? She didn't want to think about that, the thought making her feel even worse.

Sitting up, he looked at her closely. "I'm going to be fine. Forget about me. Why are you so quiet?" Worry was getting to him. He didn't want her to worry about him either. He was scared.

"I'm just...I'm just thinking, Kyoshi. Don't sit up so fast, you'll hurt yourself. Joker had said that you have been burned badly." Even with this said, Dusk's voice was barely audible, thoughts swarming her mind.
Talon was pacing, his drink forgotten. Something was wrong with Dusk, obviously. The way that she was talking scared him, not because of what she was saying, though that was bad. It was how she was talking. Dusk had spoken like this only once.
Right before she jumped.

"I'm...." He looked down at his arm. "Joker didn't say anything. I..." He looked up at her. "Did you get hurt? Did I hurt you?" He asked quietly, self-loathing beginning to set in. He shook his head. "To hell with me and my burns." He said, even though his body protested. He grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her into a embrace. "I'm sorry." He whispered.

Instinct had Dusk hug him back, but there was no pressure to her movements. "No..." She whispered, "You didn't hurt me." I hurt me. I should never have come to you...I should have just kept going...I shouldn't have stopped by your place to take shelter from the rain....
Pacing still, Talon snapped his fingers, a small flame on his thumb. Stopping his movements, he watched the small flame. It was a way to calm himself. Talon was so worried about Dusk. He didn't want her to get hurt...but more than likely the longer she was with Kyoshi, Dusk was going to hurt.
At least until they both got their acts together.

He held tighter. "No. I believe I did." He said quietly. His instincts were going through the roof with what she was saying. "It's wasn't you, Kitten. It was me. I shouldn't have slept or anything. I should have just stayed put." God he was an idiot. His heart was beating really fast. He was getting scared but he didn't know for what.

Kissing the top of Kyoshi's head, Dusk forced a slight smile. "You were fine. Nothing has happened other than you being burned. Lie down and rest." She didn't move or anything. Dusk didn't even notice the nickname, the hybrid was still in her thoughts. "You hurt Talon more than me. Don't worry."
Talon stopped the flame and rubbed his shoulder. When that guy had thrown him into the wall, Talon was sure that he heard something crack. "Ouch..." He was way stronger than he looked.

Catherine shook her head, "You are insane," she said with a grin. She was mentally sane, but highly insane herself. Atleast she knew the basics of survival and when to get out of deaths reach.

Kyoshi frowned at Dusk and at the name of Talon. "Who Talon? What did I do?" He had hurt someone? Damn it, for once couldn't he do something right for once? 'No.' Kyoshi rolled his eyes. It hurt his face to do it. "I can't rest Dusk. Now that your here I got to make sure you are safe."

Shaking her head, Dusk placed her hand on Kyoshi's chest, making the gesture of someone about to push him down, but she just couldn't find the strength to do it. Something was racing in her mind, and it was giving her a killer headache. "Rest now. I'm fine."
Taking his hand off of his shoulder, Talon noticed a little bit of blood. "Well... that's new." Sighing, Talon just let it clot, knowing that the amount of blood lost wasn't significant. The only thought at the moment was, What is she gonna do?
