"Wait hold on..." Zane said as he tried to understand the notes. "You want to trade the Mist Swordstyle for a gift?" Zane asked him. "What sort of gift?"

Hirose merely flipped his note to the other side, which read "Secret." Hirose was asking more than just to learn the entirety of Mist's swordstyles, but for the Mizukage's trust as well. The only question to be answered was could Hirose be trusted?

"Hirose, I could bluntly state I don't trust you fully. I don't even fully trust half of the shinobis of the Mist. And the last time I trusted a cloud shinobi, well that just didn't end well," Zane sighed. "I would like to trust you Hirose, but it's not you, it's me. I'm just not that trusting of a person, I mean I even have LT food taste everything for me before I even eat it. I've had way too many attempts on my life to be so trusting," Zane explained bluntly. It was true, he didn't bear any ill will towards Hirose, but he's learned from experience that trust could be broken so easily

Hirose kept his silence for a moment, and then suddenly spoke in an unexpectedly clear and calm voice. It sounded like a ghost's breath or the whisper of the wind. "You are right. Suspicion is only natural in your position. You have before you a man, close to a stranger, offering you the unknown in return for something of a unique power and pride within your village. This...gift I offer you, it could be poison, it could be a powerful weapon, it could be that star you're after, or it could be something else. You would be foolish not to question it. However, if I trust you enough to give you this gift, you must be trust me enough to accept it. This is the bond the two of us must make, for without it, the gift shall be meaningless."

Ikaru walked up and instantly knew there were people up there including Hirose.Ikaru got a running start and jumped on the closest building and jumped onto the roof with a swift movement.He decided to watch since hed benn bored all day.He sat and watched the people arpund.He layed the headband in his paw so he didnt lose it.

Zane was surprised at his voice. All this time he thought Hirose was a mute, but just realized that he was simply a man who chose not to talk. He took this fact into consideration. Oh well...whatever happens happens, Zane thought as he nodded his head. "Your logic is reasonable and if I trusted you enough to teach you the swordstyle, then I should be able to trust you enough to accept it." Zane replied camly

Hirose nodded and paused for a moment before speaking again. "After you teach me normal mist sword style, I will tell you what the gift is. After you teach me the silent blade...I will give it to you." Hirose finished. It seemed like a reasonable compromise to him.

Sighing, Luo shook his head at Zane's answer. He muttered to Zane calmly, "But it is the uncertainty that this gift will serve a better purpose than sabotage that would keep the secret that has caused the mist to be feared across the lands from being stolen and used in such a generic way against its own people." As a mist 7 shinobi, the matter had a great deal to do with him personally. He remembered how hard he had to fight to even be accepted to learn the art. It was something shinobi of the mist weren't given, they had to earn it. And the kid Luo saw in that room didn't look like he earned it at all.

"That's actually not reasonable at all seeing as how I can't teach you the way of the silent blade. Being fully enveloped with the sword I did not bother learning assasinations. I was a squad leader and was always sent to the front of the battlefield, not lurk in the shadows during times of war. The way of the silent blade is unbeknownst to even me, it is a deep secret of the Mist," Zane responded truthfully.

"Actually no one does...it's a lost art, that's why I said it's a deep secret of the Mist. The scroll containing it has been lost even before my time. I'm trying to recover it, but I have not been able to find it," Zane explained.

As Luo sipped on his coffee staring out at the city, and the boy on the rooftop across from the building, his mind wandered back to the day he found something interesting. As his body began to dematerialize into mist from the feet up, he muttered, "Thanks for the coffee buddy. Meet me at the compound for that chat. I promise it's worth your while." With that, Luo's ethereal body emptied out of the window.

Hirose was quiet for a moment. It was true that even he had only heard rumors of the silent blade's existence, but it was vital to his goal. If Hirose had to search every place in mist to find it, he would.

"Well, there you have it, anyways, I must attend to the Mist matters and I'm curious as to what Luo is doing so..." Zane said as he waved good bye to Hirose and dematerialized into Mist from head down.
