Ammy watched in silent awe as the espeon repositioned the stool without even touching it. "Amazing." she whispered and found herself wishing that she could do such things, Why don't raichu get telekinesis?. After the other two had the stool steady she stepped towards it. "Ok, I'll get up there and get the keys and the journal... and anything else that looks promising." She started her ascent carefully, keeping her weight equal so as not to knock it over again and once she was on top of the stool she stepped carefully onto the table, not wanting to come in contact with any of the sharp objects.
She reached the journal first and grasped it in her mouth, walking to the edge of the table she dropped it to the floor and then turned carefully and went to grab the keys. She put the large loop over her paw and then noticed a plastic card that had been hidden beneath them. It looked like one of those cards they used at the hotel she and Raina had stayed at while she was visiting her cousin. The one that had opened the door to their room! She quickly grasped it as well and then turned and headed back to the stool.
Very carefully she made her way down from the table, the sharp objects were much too close for comfort, and once she was on the floor she set the card and the keys down next to the journal. She looked at the key ring first, there were two small silver keys and another 4 golden colored ones. "I wonder what they are for?" She turned to look at her companions and waited for their input.

Lucine stood up on her hind legs in vain, trying to see what Amaryllis was doing up there. It seemed to take the raichu forever before she hopped back down… when she finally returned, Lucine sighed in relief. Good. They were all safe, at least for now. Batting the shiny keys thoughtfully with one paw, she considered their use. “I bet they go to the cages,” she said eventually, referring to the empty cages in the room. “And that card… I bet it locks and opens the room. So, whoever was working here had to leave in a hurry. They didn’t even lock the room. And they left their book.”
The journal had more of her attention now. She walked around it slowly, as if that would somehow compel it to give up all of its secrets. When this didn’t work, she ended up trying to open it with her paws, a maneuver that did not go over well since she no longer had proper fingers and thumbs. In the end, she simply used her telekinesis to open it.

Daybreak stared at the keys warily, then at the cages. What the pink Eevee said make sense. They wouldn't be any use to them now, though, unless there were something in the cages that could be useful. Even then, she wouldn't open them, since the death smell was too strong to bear as she got closer to them.
She noticed a figure sitting in front of the door. With a pillow in her mouth? It looked like the Growlithe from yesterday, the one she saved from the flooding.
"If you want to come in, there's nothing to be afraid of." She told her, before looking at the journal that was now opened. She didn't see her use telekinesis, so she only found it slightly fishy that the Eevee managed to open it.
"Do you read human?" She said, peering at the words herself. She could only understand the basic, useful words. Not this scientific jumble the journal was made out of.

"... and that's how I can do such things" Merlin finally finished what turned into a several hour long lecture. He was about to continue when he saw that he had accidentally put Pastel to sleep. "Ah, I was rambling again, wasn't I?" Merlin said with bit of a chuckle. The kitchen seemed a bit... calm for now, so Merlin went into the hall and over to investigate the room that had the stifling feel of death.

A familiar voice called out to her, and though it attempted to reassure her, it seemed to do quite the opposite. The puppy began to hot-step between her two forepaws, in an excited and slightly agitated fashion.
"It is stinky," she attempted to yip out from around the pillow in her mouth, but the reply was extremely muffled.

Oh, there was another pokémon here? Lucine looked towards the door curiously, recognizing the growlithe as one of their group. Mostly, she remembered the little puppy running around like… well… a puppy during the poochyena event. “It’s alright. The room is empty. It still stinks, though,” she said, wrinkling her little nose. And there was another pokémon behind the little black growlithe, a misdreavious. “It’s alright,” she said again, mostly to reassure herself.
“Uh-huh. I can read human,” the mewvee answered, looking back at the book thoughtfully. “It might take some time. Some of these words are really big.” And they didn’t make sense, big long words like ‘glycocalyx’ and lots of other things even longer and more confusing than that. “I think this is just about their experiments.” Her words were tinged with disappointment. She had really been hoping for a map out of this place, or at least some idea of what was happening to the humans.

Leaping up the ever large steps, for a Rattata at least, Tank climbed them quickly. His little nose twitched as he reached the next level. Trying to pick up any familiar scents, he darted his head every which way. Perhaps the trainers were here? Failing to pick up any scents strong enough to be his current trainers, Tank was able to catch a wiff of food. Pawing lightly, tail up high, the mouse Pokemon trotted along the new hallway, curious as to the current update of finding a way our and the trainers.

As she polished off the last of her poffins, Dido thought she could feel herself getting more beautiful already. With renewed confidence, she strutted back out of the cafeteria, through the kitchen and out to the hallway. Deciding that, though she wasn't ready to sleep again, she could use some time simply resting on something soft, the Skitty made her way back down the hall to the room full of beds. Dido shuddered slightly as she heard the voices of a few of the other Pokémon floating out from the 'Death Room.' How could they stand to go near it, let alone in it? The Skitty finally slipped into the bedroom and leapt onto an unoccupied bed. As she sat atop a large pillow and kneaded it gently with her front paws, she considered the locked doors along the hallway. That Mewtwo was in the room next door, she knew, probably with his laptop. One must lead out of this level, either to another level up or perhaps out of this place entirely, at she'd hoped to no avail the day before. That left one mystery door, exactly the same as the previous two levels, and both of those had housed groups of hostile, or at the very least unfamiliar, Pokémon. It seemed that the Rockets kept a team of Pokémon on each level, so it would probably hold true for this one as well. The Skitty tucked her feet under her, unconsciously making herself into a kittyloaf, and half-dozed, watching the end of her own tail twitch under her nose.

Penners stayed off by herself as she continued to worry about their situation. The mewtwo was no where to be seen. Some said he'd locked himself away, but maybe he decided to just leave them all. Really, what attachment did he have to them? She decided to sit by the stairs, perhaps the door would open. Perhaps not.

Zyk woke with a start as he heard a pokemon enter the bedroom, but relaxed when he saw that it was only a skitty. He got up and stretched his wings one at a time. He wasn't tired enough to go back to sleep and there was nothing else to do, so he squeaked a would-be-friendly "hi" at the cat pokemon. He was still feeling depressed from being away from his trainer for so long.
Zyk flapped over to the skitty's bed and flopped onto the opposite end of it, so that his landing wouldn't jostle her. "Hi," he said again, forcing some cheerfulness into his voice, "I'm Zyk."

Crescent had worked her way up the stairs to the next level when the hyper active mewtwo had been able to open the next set of locks. Delighting in find a kitchen with a freezer, Crescent grabbed some pre-frozen ice and nibbled happily in the hallway, not paying much attention to the pokemon around her. She had her suspicions that something exciting would happen soon enough, it seemed like every floor of this place had something interesting to offer, so for now she would rest and eat ice.
((I'm exhausted from working today, so I'm just going to chill and wait for the swarm smile ))

"There's nothing we can do about the stink. Unless you want the room to be washed out with water." Daybreak told her, half jokingly. She saw that the Misdreveus must have been done with his ranting, since he was coming towards them too. Why couldn't he have finished earlier, so he could've helped with the table situation? Then again, she wouldn't exactly trust him to not touch those needles...
"Experiments?" She repeated. "Even if it might not help us... we should keep it. When we get out of here, we could turn it in to the police. It would help them deal with the Rockets, somewhat."
Of course, she had to be thinking about her lifelong job at a time like this.

This was starting to get a little frustrating. Dakota stood up and began to run in small circles. She still wanted to see what was going on, but her poor puppy-nose was not liking this notion.
"Make the stinky go away!" she yelped into her pillow as she continued to make a slight fuss outside of the room.

"This place, it's even too horrible feeling for me." Merlin commented as he floated through the doorway into the room. As he passed some of the cages on the way over to the other Pokemon, he made a horrified face of disgust. There was far too much blood in those cages. This felt less like a place of science and more like a place of torture.

s**t. The world was coming to an end. A new level was uncovered and Ivrea had already finished showering off the excess candybar that matted her fur. Now a cafeteria was open. It was like Nirvana for her, as if the almight Arceus came down and rained down Willy Wonka bars and she found a golden ticket.
Her spare tires banged into her elbows as she made a mad dash for the salad bar. Vegetables were dandy but she was about to submerge herself in a very decadent and rich ranch bath. She already had it planned out. She would eat nearby vegetables by dipping them in her frothy bath. As she ran spittle landed on the floor.
"It's not my fault if someone trips on it" she muttered, a tongue wagging to the side subconsciously.
The smell of blood put a damper on her mood and hunger somewhat. But food was fuel and she needed to revitalize herself before the harrowing happened.
