"Rrgh, SHUT UP!" Conor slammed a hand against the cockpit dome of his navskid when he heard Sakio's voice. He couldn't bear to hear the taunting voice of the XANA-warrior now that they were so close to getting Alicia back. It pained and angered him that the despicable warrior could undo their efforts with mere hypnotising words, while they were fighting for their lives.
"Alicia! We go to Kadic together!" He said as he flew toward Sakio's ship. "We're in the same classes! And you were the first person I told about XANA!"
As he shot torpedoes at Sakio's craft, tears welled up in his eyes. He blinked them back forcefully as he flew past the ship at close range. "Look at me!" He cried out of desperation.

Kearo watched Ethan's ship coming his way as he tried to protect Brook. He saw three torpedoes being fired from the enemy craft and then curved around the Skid. He cursed under his breath, seeing that he wasn't able to stop those, but at least he could stop Ethan. Hearing Ethan's voice over the comms and how angered he was, Kearo prepared for the collision that was imminent. "Because I won't let you hurt my friends!" He yelled back at Ethan as he watched the craft speeding closer, and then disappearing from his view from the cockpit. Immediately after Ethan's ship disappeared from view, Kearo felt the Skid shake from the collision. The sound from the collision didn't sound too good, and the screen showed that the hull integrity was at 45%. "Convert all power to the shields." And with that, the propellers stopped turning and the lights inside the cockpit had dimmed down. With all the power diverted to the shields recharging, Kearo was now a sitting duck, the propellers wouldn't be able to maneuver him out of any attack in time.

Watching the Tiburon Negra ram into the boom of the Skid was like sitting in a movie theater, and Sakio enjoyed every minute of it. What added more to the entertainment was Conor yelling over the comms. Hearing their pleas for Alicia to break free was truly the most fun he's ever had. He watched on the radar and saw Conor's ship coming closer and launching torpedoes at him and Alicia. He smirked as he watched the Lyoko warrior speeding past the cockpit at such proximity. He merely kept the Shadow Stream in place and let the torpedoes collide against the shields. "Just because Alicia isn't firing back, doesn't mean that I can't. All power to the weapons." And with that, the power for the shields completely drained and the propellers had stopped turning. "Conor, do you really want to keep firing at us? You're going to kill me and Alicia along with." As he spoke to the Lyoko warrior, he looked back at the Skid, which was completely defenseless. "Tell you what. Since I'm too lazy and am excited to watch thing unfurl to open fire on you, and that my gunner is a little busy holding her head right now, I'll strike a deal." He made an evil smile onto the screen as he about to tell Conor the conditions of the deal. "You can have Alicia... If you blast Kearo out of Zero Space..."

"Yeah, like you'd keep your word!" Conor snapped as he circled around the Shadow Stream. It was obvious that Sakio was just trying to use him - it would be too easy for him to withhold Alicia from them even if he did as he was asked - killing two birds with one stone. He racked his brains for a strategy or some other means of breaking through their defenses. He cut the connection between his navskid and the Shadow Stream.
He looked around and saw Ethan going after Brook, and got an idea. Come on, you psycho... fire at me... he thought as he glanced over his shoulder at Sakio's ship as he continued to circle around in a predictable pattern.
"Brook! I've got an idea," he said into the headset. "When that guy behind you fires, bring the torpedoes over here. Fly past me and when you do, shut down everything on your navskid. Theoretically those torpedoes should start following me..."

 ETHAN CASTELLAN
"Lock... and fire." Ethan's eyes narrowed as he pressed the trigger on the steering column. Two torpedoes shot off toward Brook's navskid as his own craft spun off to the left and stabilized itself, watching the fight from the side.
he commanded via mind link. Readings popped up on the screens around him, a low beep emanating from the flashing red diagram of the twin engines. Engine 1, the left engine, was already down to 60% of normal output and dropping fast. To add insult to injury, the overall system energy was also ridiculously low - he couldn't divert power to the engine to make it run faster without completely killing either the shields or the targeting/navigations computer. And even if he did that, it would only accelerate the damage process. He had no good option but to let it flame out on its own.
This is unacceptable... he mentally berated himself for his lapse. "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."

"What? But, are you sure--" Brook started to say, but stopped once Ethan fired his attack. Without time to think about her choice, she went into panic-mode and took off, flying towards Conor's navskid. As soon as she passed Conor, Brook made a sharp turn out of the path of the torpedoes and hit the manual shut off for her navskid, watching as the torpedoes headed directly for Conor.
"I hope whatever you're planning works," Brook said into her headset, her hands hovering over the controls, ready to start up the navskid's systems again once Conor lead the torpedoes away.

Sakio clicked his tongue when Conor refused the deal. "Heh, can't trust me is his loss. Looks like I'll have to take down Kearo with my own hands." His sights locked onto the Skid, and he prepared the targeting systems to lock onto the Skid for the homing torpedoes. But, instead of him getting a lock, Conor's craft kept circling by and kept cutting off the lock. "How annoying." He looked down at the screen to see how Alicia was doing. "Alicia, it seems their objectives have changed. They'd rather have me dead than you captive. It seems they want to shoot me down and have you come along with me, as long as you can't fight them back is good enough for them. If you want to prevent them from going through with that, then shoot the insect named Conor that is flying around us out of Zero Space.""

As the Lyoko warriors argue with Sakio over the current dilemma, Alicia struggled to separate the lies from reality. They're all lying. They're just trying to trick me. They want me to get confused and scared. Alicia thought over and over again in an effort to convince herself. Her headache was getting worse as she listened to everything being said. But why me? Why only go after me? Why do they sound so serious? Slowly she raised her head from her hands as the yelling was directed at her. Fight what? What the hell are they talking about? If they have the skill to dodge why not try to shoot us down? Questions were coming one after another into her mind. Some of what they were saying actually sounded familiar.
"No, it has to be a lie," Alicia mumbled to herself as they were dodging the attacks. The screens starting to show two faces, the faces of the Lyoko warriors. She stared at disbelief as Kearo explained about Sakio and was even more in shock when Conor mention the school. Her hands started shaking as she lowered them. Sakio's voice then came into her ears making her cringe, but she listened carefully. Her hands reached for the controls as she looked at the attempts to survive.
"Sakio," Alicia began, her voice sounded calm but her face didn't quite match. She moved the controls to take aim. Her attention went to the the screen that displayed Sakio's face. "If my alliance is with XANA then why were you going to use me as a bargaining chip?" If what he was saying was true then why would he even make an offer. It would make no sense to just give them one of their own so they could be a captive.
((Sorry for the late response, I was out of town longer than I expected.))

Sakio sighed when he heard Alicia ask about the deal he was trying to make. Her willpower seemed to have become a bit resistant to the mind control, but a simple twist of words and some convincing speech would turn that around. "It's simple, Alicia. They want to take down me and Ethan so they can take you away. True, the reason is a little personal, but it's also very tactical." He took a pause before continuing to explain to her this lie. "If I give you over to them, then you are still a threat, after all you have those bombs of yours. In exchange for that, Kearo gets shot down and that gets rid of one Lyoko Warrior." Still, some parts would be unclear, but the next reason would sure be able to convince her teenage mind. "But, I also don't want you to go down with me." Sakio said, his voice getting more serious. "I'd rather be shot down and have you still alive instead of you being shot down with me." True, this was all a lie, but he sounded very convincing. Of course, if she started asking if he had feelings for her, then he would be forced to say 'yes' in order to become more convincing. An easy trick to use on these young female minds, especially one as confused as Alicia.
(Eh, I was out today anyways.) ((Ha, this is getting funny.))

As Alicia listened to the lies that Sakio, she still had a slight look of suspicion on her face. In a way, she guessed that was he was saying made sense, but still there seemed to be some doubt. She placed her hand under her chin to think about. Maybe he was planning a type of divide and conquer strategy, it made sense. Sending one inside the enemy base to damage if not destroy them from the inside. He must have of assume that they would focus on him and Ethan so she could launch her own attack. She merely assumed that he had this big battle plan that he was thinking about using. Even if he did get shot down, she could still continue on XANA's missions.
"Well it makes sense I guess," Alicia said as she placed her hands back on the controls to take aim once again. Her attention went to the three. Two of them were sitting ducks while the other was trying to out run some torpedoes. She watched Conor fly around seeing if he was going in any particular order, there was a chance he was up to something. "Sakio," she began while still in deep thought. "Which one would you say is the biggest threat?" Their words still echoed through her head. Their voices seemed so familiar and even genuine, but still.

Sakio looked down at the screen to see how Alicia was reacting to what he just told her. It seemed to be working, she was thinking about it, and that would help his words take even more effect. True, they were lies, but it did seems to work, and Alicia was ready to take aim again and asking who would be the biggest threat. "Kearo is busy recharging the shields, and Brook just shut down.. With those two just sitting ducks, Ethan can easily take them out. Brook just left Conor helpless out there with the torpedoes now locked onto him, so I think it'd be best to put more stress on him. I'd say shoot down Conor, but it's still your choice, as you are using the weapons."

((Where is everybody?))
Alicia nod her head in response, "I thought as much." Taking his words into account, had complete focus on him. She watched the ship kept circling around while she counted. Launching a torpedo too soon or too late could create a problem. She had to figure out what was going on and for all she knew this was probably the only way to get her answers. Her head still hurt but she had to continue regardless of how she felt. She pressed the buttons and launched a torpedo at her target once it got into view. Despite counting down when Conor was circling them, the torpedo wasn't heading for him but the threat in back of him. Alicia couldn't believe what she had done, but yet something in her mind told her that it wasn't as bad as she thought.

 ETHAN CASTELLAN
Ethan saw the ship he had targeted suddenly stop moving. He didn't see his torpedoes changing lock and careening off after Conor, and wrongly assumed that the torpedoes had impacted and he had missed it. He dismissed the engine diagrams and warnings that were blaring left and right from his damaged engine, and set off after the stopped navskid. Now to finish it off.
He highlighted it several times with his HUD, to no avail. He couldn't gain lock on it from the distance he was at because all systems were turned off.
"... the hell?" He muttered as he switched to manual targeting, boosting toward the navskid. "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."
