Ranu Blackheart
[That was more at the use of the word 'army'.]

Ranu nodded, then added, "I should go too. The darkness grows thicker with every moment we sit around in speech."
[late response rampage!!! domokun ]

"Right." Whispering to Ranu, he says "The friend of yours is an airhead..."

"I heard that," She said before taking off. Her black wings where barley visable in the growing darkness. She bowed elegantly, then saluted, then took to flight. her hair felt as if something was pulling it softly. A large dose of Adrenallin rushed through her as the wind whipped all around her. Her eyes still could see fairly well, but she spotted a warg no to far off. She shook her head to herself. "Stop imagining such hungary creatures." She scowled at herself.

[I was on holiday. So sue me.]

Ranu gazed sadly after his friend, he was rather sorry to see her go. He glanced at the other human and grinned faintly, "She grows on you, though."

Elrothiel had been lucky. As soon as the orcs had left the area, Sol had returned, along with the rest of her gear. She had climbed into the saddle with difficulty - her muscles were aching and a combination of blood loss and the healing leaves was making her feel light-headed - but she managed. She had initially tried to maintain a trot but the jolting put too much strain on her injured shoulder. Even at the slower pace she was swallowing several of the leaves every couple of hours when she should only have needed them about once a day. At the rate she was going, they were not going to last for more than a week at maximum.

Shrugging at the loss of his companion, Ranu nodded his head to Normon. "I must go." He stated shortly, glancing at the sun, then heading away from it, keeping the river to his right as he headed south east. His eyes watched the sky for a sign of Amara.

A single glossy feather fell right infront of Ranu. Amara Circled overhead, because she just couldn't leave, because of her new friend and because of a strange inncodent with what she thought was a fake warg. She started to decent, this time falling flat on her face when she landed.

Just before she fell, however, Ranu, warned by the feather, grabbed at her, preventing her from hitting the floor. "You've really got to practice landing," He grunted, trying to heave her back upright.

Elrothiel was making steady progress. Fortified by the leaves she was now travelling by canter and walk in turns and had made a lot more progress, covering ground in a single morning that would have taken her several days on foot in her present condition. Although weak, she was feeling optimistic about reaching Minas Tirith. In another day or so she would cross into Gondor, after that she estimated it would only be another few days before she reached the city. Her wound, held together by magic, should hold that long.

"Grows like a tumor." he says with a smirk. "We must be swift, if we are to make progress today, it is getting late. Unless, you like the dark..." he says with another smirk, and putting his hood back up. Over the river, the sky turns orange as the sun prepares to set.

Carantathraiel stepped through the forest on silent feet, her maroon cloak trailing behind her, catching the fall coloured leaves. Her hood was drawn up, but strands of her ebony locks spilled over her shoulder, swaying in the breeze as she walked. Something is different... she thought, as her skilled ears noted the deafening silence that screamed through the woods.

"T-thanks Ranu." She blushed slightly. "Oh, right, I think a possible warg pack is headed tword us, unless they turn a different course." She smirked. "Ready for some fun?" She drew her sword.

Ranu put a hand to his sword, glancing back. After the near encounter with the Uruks, he was hesitant to even consider it. He pondered for a moment where everyone else was. Why had he left them? He stopped wondering as he drew his sword. "Why not?"

"Goody, I like a good fight." She smirked, then listened intently for the unfriendly intruders. She herd hevy pawsteps not too far away, and her heart quickened. Suddenly, Five Adult sized Wargs flew into view, four of them had ork riders, the other was the biggest, meanest looking warg she'd ever seen.

Elrothiel gritted her teeth with frustration. She had passed a small village of the Rohirrim about an hour ago, but the place had been deserted. So much for getting assistance to reach Minas Tirith. She thought with frustration. Night had fallen but she didn't dare stop until she was a lot closer to the border. From the look of the village, either the Uruks who had tried to kill her earlier, or another pack, had passed this way and could easily still be in the area. She patted Sol's neck. He didn't seem to mind the pace but she didn't want to hurt him accidentally. She bit her lip. She'd have to risk it.

"Man thats one big dog." Ranu commented as he regarded the charging Wargs. Sliding his sword into the mud, he drew an arrow and his bow, pulling the arrow back and sighting the charging enemies. He let the string go and the arrow raced towards the Warg on the far left. The creature roared as its eye was hit, tripping forwards and crushing its Orc. Replacing his bow quickly, Ranu drew his sword from the mud and waited. His mind slid to the others again and he sighed ever so softly. Was it possible he missed them?
