Luna smiled and stood back. "True but I have never been one to follow the rules." She smiled and cleaned up her brushes neatly putting them away. "You should try to relax I am not going to get angrey at you for any reason I preferre company of just another girl no matter her rank." Luna brushed out her own hair long and silken black to her waist, she had always taken care of her hair since she was little it had always been long and her mother had always braided it. Sitting down she listened in silence to the rain hitting the roof tiles and sighed, this place was so unlike her home, yet still she managed to find happyness.

Reiko finished her menial duties and would then go back to kneel beside the Maiko. She did want to keep the woman company, and happy, she knew someday the woman might be her Onee-san. Which would be wonderful, given as they seemed to have some kind of a bond all ready. "Do you need anything else?" Reiko asked softly, with a bit of a smile.

Reijin-chan ((Post #10)) Reijin's head snapped up at the geisha's voice, realizing she was the only other person in view at the moment. Quickly ascending the stairs, and nearly tripping over her kimono as she did, she bowed to her before responding. "You called, Geisha-sama?" she said, her voice soft and unassuming, her eyes downcast out of respect and nerves. "May I be of some assistance to you?"

Luna could not think of anything she needed and shook her head sighing the rain always seemed to bring her own in mood and she felt trapped once again unable to go anywhere other than wander around the halls or stay in her room, she could not go out into the rain since she could easily catch cold and become ill... "Reiko-chan." she was already on friendly terms with the maid. "There is nothing to do now, I am so bored of sitting..." She shifted conctsantly to find a more comfortable position.

Reiko-chan?! That was shocking, however it did make her smile somewhat as she straightened her sitting position somewhat. "I... I wish I knew what to do for you now..." She wasn't about to return the informality however, it would be rude of someone in her position to do that. When she was on the same level as the Maiko, then she could be friendlier and more casual. "Have you been invited to any tea houses this evening?" Reiko had to ask, it was one of those curious maid things.

Luna shook her head. "No, I do not have an Onee-san as of yet, perhaps later on I will." She shrugged as if it was nothing and she was fine with it but really, Luna wanted an older sister so badly, she'd told herself to wait but watching how happy others were she desired the same happiness as them. Luna seemed to be starring off into space for a moment then snapping back to reality she looked at the maid as thunder boomed overhead, it was going to be a long night. "It is getting rather cold, could you get some blankets one for me and one for you." She was sitting quietly on her knees combing her hair even though there were no tangles, the motion calmed her.

((Post #11)) Reijin raised her face to the geisha slowly, her initial timidity fading in the gentle presence of the geisha. "My name is Tsukiyono Reijin, Geisha-sama. What may I do for you?" She managed to smile, her respect for the geisha radiating from her eyes. Reijin hoped that someday, when she became a maiko, her onee-san would be as gentle and kind as this geisha.

"Ah, Reijin-chan? How cute! My name is Iyasu and these are my younger sisters: Yokome-chan and Tanpopo-chan!" She beamed a proud smile to the girls, before she continued on, "Would you please fetch us a warm pot of Jasmine tea and also . . . oh, something a little sweet. Would you girls like some mochi?" Iy-chan suggested, "If your chores are too consuming for you, you may join us as well, Reijin!"
Iyasu gave the new maid a warm smile, as if she was family. She always did her best to treat everyone in the okiya on equal terms, except for her Onee-san and Okaa-san.

"Oh, yes Luna-sama." Reiko was obedient, and bowed low to her superior before she would rush off to the closet with the blankets and sheets within it. Taking two down from the shelf, she made sure to close the door so no one would be angered if dust got into the sheets and blankets, and hurried right back to Luna's room. "I hope these will suit you..." Reiko spoke softly, as she would go to present the folded blanket to the Maiko, bowing as she did so. "If it is not suitable I can find another..."

Luna shook her head. "No, no their perfect!" She took one gently wrapping it around herself removing the pin holding up the majority of her hair so it fel down ehr back in waves silken and black. "Do not worry so much of pleasing me I just want some company informal company just to talk to." She smiled for once and the simple expression lit up her features as she closed her eyes and muffled a small yawn.

Reiko smiled then to the woman before she would kneel beside her, making sure to maintain some sort of distance because she was still a lowly maid in the scheme of things. "The rain is so beautiful..." Reiko made a stray comment before she was brought back to reality by hearing Luna's words. "Oh, I am honored you wish me to remain with you for conversation..." A kind smile again appeared on her features before she sat up a bit straighter. Indeed it was an honor.

Luna looke doutside a sad expression to her face. "Yes, it is nice... just like home..." She looked away fromt he window her eyes lowered though due to she wasn't alone she didn't let it show how she felt and ptu up a fake smile. "Reiko-chan please tell me about yourself, and I'll answer any questions you would like to ask, I wish to know more about the people I live with here." Luna knew she was a very shy girl she always had been but the only way to break it was to make friends as hard as it was for her.

((Becuase it has been a while since I last posted here (nobody was responding) and I wasn't very far, I will start back at post # 1. I don't remeber my last post.))
Shizuka sighed happily as she walked down the halls of the okiya. She loved doing work. She wasn't sure why. She decided that since she had been working for most of the day now, the situation called for tea. She walked into the kitchen and began preparing some ocha.

Reiko perked when Luna asked her about herself. That was when she blushed somewhat. She really didn't have it that bad compared to other girls who had been forced into coming to the Okiya. She had choosen to become a maid and eventually a geisha. "Well... I was born near Sendai, my family owns a shrine there, I'm the youngest of five children and... basically I picked to be a geisha. Their lifestyle always seemed so amazing to me. I had to do it... my parents were reluctant at first but... they did eventually strike a price with the Okaa-san here at the Okiya and here I am."
