AirisMagik http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4958638 Someone pick items that they feel sufficient enough for a legible trade for an OMG hat. I'll overpay a bit if I have to. >.< I'll take them all and give you nothing. Alas, a fair trade I offer.

AirisMagik Valgav Actually, the genius is not so hidden. I'm just a burnout. biggrin Well, that's... like my friend. XD Enough 'Gifted and Talented/Advanced' classes rreally kills your urge to try. So many recesses I spent learning advanced math and language skills as a child. I wouldn't put my kid in those.... at least until they were older and could make the choice themselves.

Gifted, as in, give them the crappiest teacher on staff because they'll at least be able to teach themselves. Mine actually does not know grammar rules and routinly responds with "I don't know."

Valgav There were a few times where I was pretty sure that I was working with a teacher so that they could learn something. neutral This is frequent. domokun Yeah. Didn't sign up for "gifted" classes... BUT YOU KNOW WHAT!? The counselor took it into her hands and signed me up anyway. ********. D: At any rate, I don't care, thus my grade isn't great...C-B range. Whatever it is.
Do do do do. She's OBVIOUSLY VERY RELIGIOUS ... Puritan freakoid. D:
*roars* XD
*coughs* But anyway. Some of the teachers for the "gifted" have high thought of themselves and look down at any who thinks outside the box... or... society... or whatever.
First ESSAY OF THE YEAR! I ended with "I'm probably not going to college, this class isn't necessary for me, bleh bleh bleh, I didn't sign up for it."
Probably pissed her off, well, you know, it wasn't her, but if she wants to take it personally... D:

You see, I tried to piss of a teacher with a dissenting essay once, I even through in all the liberal hijinks because she's a devout republican. And that sure as hell backfired. I was like instantly on her good side. And only now is she finally warming up to the idea that I rightly don't give a ********. Which is sad because I rightly don't give a ******** that I have the highest US history grade in the school. Which is sad because I don't give a ******** wonder if I can pull off a day next year of sams (basically you go and observe some lower grade class and pretend to be helpful. Sort of like teacher aid for the middle and elementary), teacher aid, office aid, release hour. Oh what I fine glorius day that would be. And in that time I could manage to take over the entire ******** administration, much in the way that Radar ran the Mash unit.
I really can't wait for a nice shiny letter from some college saying "accepted" so I can begin my dissenting campaign of Kiss My a** ******** b***h. Seig Heil!
I swear, at graduation I'm making sure the whole class just turns, faces her, and does that.

I'm glad I'm not one of the faceless millions you'll end up crushing with your boot of apathetic tyranny. blaugh Don't worry, there's loads of character education I have to reverse before I can get anywhere. Like Frank Burns says, "We can have individuality as long as well all do it together." Or so is the philosphy of character education. You're unique, so's this other guy, Now be uniformly unique. I don't see why more people don't recognize the stupidity of it.

Or as the elf in the claymation Rudolph movie says it: "We can be independent together!"
Honestly, I don't know who came up with that whole concept. Further, I have to wonder about the mindset of humanity as a whole to want to accept it. neutral

Now get the ******** back and line and wet your pants there like everybody else!" I seriously need to get my website ready for launch so that I can draw an massive amount of peoples to my cause. (Which for a hefty donation will allow me to not have to actually do real work) But really, who would trust him? He's the only male elf with hair.

Yeah, talk about scoring the genetic jackpot. I always assumed he was Santas b*****d half elf child. And to think, I came up with that idea when I was 8. neutral
Heh, well if your site does actually take off, let me know if ya need a PR guy. (Though that is sorta like asking Hitler if he needs a speech writer to help him win over the Jewish population.)
...That is a really awesome metaphor....

What I really need is a bunch of slave monkies who I can force to do the coding for me. But hey, there will be a picture of Titler on the site. And Cheesus. But don't worry, there'll also be a guild you can join. Anyways. *downs a martini* I'm off to bed.
