Thayli missed the suggestive meaning behind the sentence untill he sat there for a while in silence, just thinking of how great a day it had been so far, then the sentence made it's way through to his brain. "Eh?" He asked, not sure he heard it right.

Star laughed. "Your a thick headed one, aren't you?" Star said, not really making a question of it. "You are like, my first friend who's not a complete flake, family, or a nerd like myself." Star stated.

Thayli looked at her, staring into her eyes as she said this. He didn't say anything, not sure if he was interpreting what she was saying right. He didn't want to say anything in case he was getting it wrong. His face reddened slightly, but he didn't notice.

Not noticing him blush, Star smiled again. "In case you're unsure, that means I like you." She explained, blushing a bit herself.

"Yeah I am thick headed." Thayli said, smiling when she said she liked him. "I always think I'm reading things wrong, mostly because I think it's too good to be true because I like you too." He said, his ears burning but he kept looking her in the eye.

"Too good to be true, huh?" Star repeated, still smiling. She was glad he liked her. She entirely forgot about her job, as she leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips.

Thayli was surprised when Star leaned forward and kissed him, but returned the kiss. "A bit forward are we?" He asked with a smile. At least if a relationship did form and last he wouldn't have to worry about her being one of those girls that wants you to hold their hand but doesn't tell you, then dumps you because you didn't.

"Your brother didn't seem to happy when you were around me. What do you think he'll say? Of will he even know?" Thayli asked, suddenly remembering when he brought Star to the side to talk to her in the Cafe

Star now remembered how Josh had not approved of her being with Thayli, and chewed on her lip. "I don't know.. I'll deal with him later.." Star said, not sure how to approach Josh. Being with Thayli would be faulty with their work, but Star could handle it. As long as Thayli never found out, it was all good.

"Alright. Shall we go see if Kiyoko is alright? They may have forgotten about us." Thayli asked, a bit nervous about how her brother would react but he put that into the back of his mind.

"Yeah.. I guess we should." Star agreed, standing up. She looked down again at her nightgown, and laughed. "I think I'll go change, first." She said, turning to look at him. "I'll be back in a minute.." Star said, before disappearing through the door. Star made her way to her locker, and withdrew the clothes she had worn for her parents. Sure, her parents has her do the dirty work of the job, but they were still strict about her clothing.
Star came out of the girl's bathroom wearing a completely grey, blah outfit. This outfit included a grey plaid skirt, a white tank top with lace around the bottom, a matching grey jacket, knee high grey socks, and black mary janes. She had also fixed up her hair, so it was half up and half down. Sure the outfit might look nice, but it wasn't Star's style. She was more of a 'punk' dresser, not usually dressing in blah colours like grey.
Star made her way back to the nurses office, only to be stopped by her brother. Star smiled. "Uhm.. Hi Josh. How's it going?"

Thayli nodded as she left and pulled out his MP3 player. As he listened to his music he pulled off his second necklace and held it in his hand while he waited for Star.
