((I must have misread something. Naomi, Shikamaru, and Gaara were about to make a run for it, Naomi decides to stay, and then so does Shikamaru. I don't remember anything about Gaara staying, so I assumed that he had left.))
Jiro had caught a ride with Deidara not much later than when he had left. Jiro used his tracking jutsu to locate Gaara's exact position and he directed Deidara where to go. They soared through the sky and eventually spotted Gaara and the others running. Deidara reached into the pouches at his sides and seemed to pull out two clay birds. Specifically crafted to be silent, he sent them off towards the group, preparing to detonate them at a moments notice.

Yume lay on the ground, three kunai in her chest. But, she never believed in the fear of death. The body shattered into a thousand shards of pure shadow, and then merged with the shadow already there. A full bodied Yume then came out of the shadows with three kunais in her hand.
(I had to find a way to get back in.... crying )

Neji nodded and looked back to see if any Akatsuki were following them. he saw Deidara's bird over head and two birds fall towards them. he pulled out two kunais and threw them at the birds falling towards them.

The two birds dodged the kunai and pressed their wings against their sides like falcons, gaining incredible speed. The two clay birds had come close enough and Deidara prepared to detonate them, along with the three clay spiders that appeared in front of the group that he had created earlier in case of a persuit. Deidara smirked. "Katsu!" The two clay birds and the three clay spiders surrounded the group and exploded violently. Deidara had a feeling that the Hyuga kid would avoid the two clay birds and subsequently move himself further into the blast of the three clay spiders. Deidara used his left eye to scan the area, making absolutely sure that the two accomplice ninja were dead and that Gaara was heavily damaged or at least unconcious.

When the smoke cleared you could see a thick wall of sand around the four ninja, protecting them from ay blasts Deidara might start

Shiro did his best to avoid everyone, even his allies. He planned to stay hidden and wait for an oppertunity, he did his best to stay away from Neji because of his Byakugan, which could read Shiro's bone structure. If Neji focused enough on Shiro's bone structure he may discover he is not an ordinary Shinobi. Shiro did his best to avoid any member of another clan, especially those such as the Uchiha or the Hyuga since they might regonize his clan traits. Shiro was currently watching the artist formerly known as Deidara, that what he would call him since he used art for attacks. Shiro did keep his distance frm him,but kept his distance from the other Konoha Shinobi as well.

Neji looked around and thought he saw someone. for some odd reason, he had a strong feeling they were being watched
(ok, since minron hasn't posted for kisume, nali and taya are leaving the fight)

Kisame decided he would go in for the kill, he had to catch the Nine Tailed Fox and these Shinobi were wasting his time. "Enough of this, Samehada: Tsunami of the Shark Scales!" The water that came to Kisame and wrapped itself around Samehada in a swirling vortex of moister. Kisame aimed the tip of the blade at the two and yelled. "Release!" A gigantic whirl wind of water screamed from Samehada and towards Nali and Taya.

Nali ran in front of Taya and used a chakura shield to protect them. she then said "Byakugon!" and she looked at Kisume and noted how much chakura he had. Taya was glad that Nali had saved her and when Nali said Byakugon, Taya realized that she had the spirit of a Hyuga

Kisame pressed the attack, this Chakra sheild wouldn't last long against Samehada. The water had Samehada's trait of absorbing Chakra, only disadvantage is if the water was drank by those it had taken Chakra from, they would regain it easily. Kisame kept pushing with the Water Tsunami, Kisame was always well known to have vast pools of chakra.
