Good books? Well of course, the Twilight series! (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse. I'm waiting for Breaking Dawn, which is out August 2008! sweatdrop ) But if you read that, any of John Grisham's books are good! The Firm, The Partner, and The Jury are great :3 I'm currently reading The Innocent Man, so I can't really say anything yet...

Ugh! I got to 98 percent on insane jigsaw, and I lost connection to the server! So irritating. D:< All that wasted effort. Humpf. I gotta start saving...-.-

Yes, finally Quidditch is underway! I should try out for chaser...I've always been interested in that.
I should read the Twilight Series at some point...*pokes at Ivy*...Borrow please?

I got the Twilight series for Christmas! I was finnished with it at the 27th! ^^
Gonna re-read it in a few months, a little before the next book comes out. It was quite an easy read.
I read Narnia several years ago. Though I wanna re-buy the book. The one I have is in Norwegian... And I want to read the English version! gonk

The Twilight Series sounds like so much fun, I read the synopsis and it has one of those plots that seem really...cliche, but nevertheless, it seems to have an air of..."unique"-ness that makes it interesting.
I guess.
Narnia is really awesome.
Which is funny, because some of my favorite books, other than Harry Potter, are like...
"The Alchemist"
"The Things They Carried"
"Atonement"
"Flowers for Algernon"
"Death Be Not Proud"
Is anybody else interested in those kinds of books. You know, like...modern classics (for lack of better description...)?

Have you noticed that we reap the most points from team so-called "efforts"?
As of now, 65 out of our 85 points are from working together by having banners in our signature. As of the ornament call during Christmas season, we won that by working together as well (I think) and another one for the house with the Secret Santa, Erised, etc. posts. Well, that's teamwork for you...!

So true Kita! Hats off to you for discovering that axiom, as well as doing the math! Speaking of team-ups, we have another possibility to shine and work together: there are 10 Points up for grabs to the House that has the most team recruits! Garnet17th as Slytherin Captain just started a gorgeous thread I'm putting in the Index temporarily, which can be found Cerbera, would you create a gorgeous Quidditch try-out thread for Ravenclaw? I suggest you team up with Orna, who knows the glitter site and some other tricks. I won't be upset if you out-do Slytherin in gorgeousness! And of course, something due:  Announcement:  to Cerbera Dragon, newly named

I, for one, am comepletely and utterly obsessed with Twilight,and I havebeen for over two years. And I'm saying that like it's a good thing. Oh, and I'm even more in love with Edward, but who isn't? I actually know two guys who have a t-shirt that says, "I went gay for Edward Cullen." One of my friends got the whole school of nearly 1000 hooked on it. xd

I'm going to go work on a pretty try out thread...and try and figure out the logistics for tryouts. (Please post or PM me any ideas)
I want Ravenclaw to win those points and we definitely need players, so EVERYONE, please try out!
Who's to say you won't be on the team? Make my job hard, Ravenclaws! I want to be totally stuck deciding which of the awesome people of this house to choose!

Off topic question: I haven't seen too many guys in the Ravenclaw common room... there's more than just me, isn't there?

I. Love. Edward. Cullen. mrgreen Jacob sounds like an amazing friend, but I LOVE EDWARD CULLEN! xp -hops up and down- Breaking Dawn is coming out in August! (I can't wait surprised ) And the movie is coming out in December! OH MY GOSH! =P

Atonement is a beautiful book...
Read it, it's by Ian McEwan. As for tryouts, make a shoutout please...what Vortigan said. And I just noticed that, too Vortigan...where are all the men...
