Touche. The feline stared at her for a long hard moment before going back to it's grooming, I'm apologize, I've been out of touch, I had a few things I needed to do. Merlin replied after a few moments of silence.

Of course. Merlin didn't miss a beat, You might have to give him up as quarry all together. You're probably first in line but there are more individuals that will be better equipped to find him.

There was no response from Merlin. The feline kept grooming, moving to it's ears and face.

His gaze met that of a young child's and held there. He could feel her power, her very presence. She was the one in the tomb. She was the one that had taken the blow in the tomb of the Lotus Base. She was Moneko.

"My name is Quinn Siddel." Quinn answered, "You are Moneko, correct?"

"I didn't exactly do much protecting until the damage was already done. I only did what I thought was necessary for your protection afterward. It was hardly anything." Quinn replied, his voice slightly weak. He was still coming to terms with everything that Ashra had spoken with him about. And here stood Moneko...the one who truly ruled the Lotus Building. How was he to tell her, someone of such power, that he needed to cut his ties to her base?

"He hasn't been sleeping long." Quinn answered her question, "I'd say let him sleep. He's very tired. After the spell that he cast, causing all the of chaos, and the damage that was done to all of you, his body and mind have nothing left. The conversation he and I were having was cut short, actually, because he needed to rest."

Quinn smiled at the sight of Moneko and Ashra. It reminded him of the family that he used to have, before everything went so horribly wrong. His youngest brother and his older sister were always like that. She took care of him, and without fail he would always protest. But, the two were very close. And despite all the childish words, Quinn knew that his little brother loved the attention.

"Perhaps I could help keep the darkness in check." Quinn answered Moneko's question, "That is, if you do not mind letting me go, Moneko. I cannot help Ashra while still tied to the Lotus Base."

Othello had stood a hallway apart when Lina and Moneko began talking. He knew it would be unwise for him to intrude or evesdrop. Hearing the mumbling subside though, he chanced a walk through the hallway to find that Moneko had gone out of the base while Lina disappeared into the kitchen. A sudden twitch began in his neck and spread down to his toes, stopping just as suddenly as it had began as his hands curled into and out of fists, his body seemingly straining against itself as the very air around him turned bitter cold.

"So Ashra... This is what happens when the darkness inside of us is put on hold only to come back again? Take back your damned energy!" He yelled out into the dark hallway as he fell to his hands and knees, the energy being released in a stream around him and dispersing towards its original source. Causing chaos to bring order, while undeniably efficient in this case, is no way to fulfill the greater good... After all, look at what the memories of chaos can do to us...

The last of the emerald green faded from Othello's eyes only to be replaced by an icy blue-grey as he stood back up. Breathing heavily in the frigid air around him, he crossed over to the kitchen door and knocked.

Remus had been sitting quietly listening to the one side of the conversation he could understand, but after hearing that question Remus started choking on the meat he'd been eating. After coughing a few times he looked at her with a shocked and extremely hopeful expression on his face. "Please tell me I heard that correctly." He was feeling a little light headed, and not just from the lack air to his brain.
