That was a scary thought. Dusk tried to ignore it as she faced him fully, serious. “I spoke to Kristopher today, Kalore’s father. He’s never liked him and though I understand why, I also know that he’s someone that’s like Kyin.” She shook her head, worry beginning to show in her eyes. “He didn’t know anything and he spoke like he was telling the truth, but no one lies like a politician. See if you can get into his head. He’s the only one that I know that actually has a relation to everyone that’s been attacked so far and, well… who would have a reason to blame it on you.”

A nod. “I’ll try not to and I’ll do my damnest to make sure no one else that’s part of my team does either.” She glanced at Eldin, the boy leaning back against the couch. He just sighed, “I won’t say anything nor will I do anything.” Dusk didn’t believe it, but she did believe that Eldin was just as trained as the rest of them. He knew how to behave in situations like this. “Good. I’m going to make sure my boys are alright. Anything else we have to discuss at this moment?”

Nodding, Dusk turned to Joker and Eldin, letting Monty and Kyoshi do as they wished. For now, they were in military mind-sets. Things had to be done quickly and efficiently. If things weren’t done that way then they had little hope of getting things covered. “Joker, do you mind staying here with Eldin? I don’t want him out in the open where this b*****d can get him. I’m going to make sure Ziggy does what he’s supposed to and he’s probably needing my help by now.” Ziggy was the best tracker she had, Talon could be of some help too, but she didn’t want to get the big guns out quite yet. Getting Harly always cost her something but she did need to get Raul’s group as well. They might be good for protecting Eldin, seeing as they got along so well.

Glaring at him, Dusk merely flicked the b*****d off. “I’ll be back in a few with your damn food, you brat.” Sticking her tongue out, she thought about who would be of any help with this. She wished she knew where Kit and the others were…or at least Kit. She could entertain the madman for hours and probably entertain the brat too, even if they didn’t like one another. Still, she needed someone… oh! Now she knew! Grinning as she moved within shadows, Dusk found someone and sent her with some food within a few minutes, heading over to Ziggy’s as she did so.

Stepping out of the shadows, though, wasn’t Dusk. Holding a container of Coca-Cola with one hand and some groceries in the other, a blue haired girl grinned. “well hey there, you little moss brat…” Eldin jumped as someone other than Dusk came out, about to yell before his eyes widened. “No way…” A laugh came from the woman with the blue hair, the cropped ocean locks in a cute pixie cut. She was beautiful, that was for sure, her golden eyes trapping anyone that saw her. “Yes way. Now, Dusky said something about someone wanting food… that you? You can’t cook…” “Shut up, Alice!”

Laughing, Alice shook her head as she flopped onto the couch, amused. “I’m a bit hungry, sure. Make me something sweet?” She grinned as Eldin groaned. Just what was she doing there? He thought that she was out of the continent, way overseas. Then again, it wasn’t unknown that Dusk and any of the shadow users could go anywhere they wanted. Sighing some, he leaned on his hand, watching her. “Why are you here?” A shrug. “I got called.” Eldin glowered. “No, really… you don’t say?” She only grinned. “I do say, actually.” “I hate you.” “Love you too, babe.”

As the shadows reappeared in front of him, Ziggy groaned, a hand over his heart. “Dusk… you need to stop doing that. I’m losing precious life here.” She only shrugged, “I think you’ll be fine. Alright, did you get a hold of them?” He nodded. “Raul’s on his way, the demons not far behind. He wanted to know if you wanted Edward to just start tracking now or not.” Dusk thought for a moment before nodding. “Get it done. They’re coming here, right?” A nod. “Good. I’ll take you all over in a bit then.” All the stops were pulled to get to the others. They needed to find them and fast.

Eldin glared as Alice sprawled out on the other chair, grinning like the Cheshire cat she was. Goddess, why did the poor boy have to deal with her? Still, she was better than Kalore. Oh damn, he actually felt a bit guilty thinking that. Sighing some, he called back, “Whatever you’re making for her is fine. I’m easy.” Alice only smirked. “You’re easy, eh? I knew it…” “Shut up!”

Ziggy and Talon stood around the table, Dusk at the head as she spoke sharply. “I need this done, and I need it done now. Hibachi is someone you can probably work with, Ziggy, so I’m sending you over soon. Alice is already there. Talon, talk to Kai. I know he’s being a little b***h at the moment, but kick his a** if you need to. I need Raul and his group tracked down.” Talon nodded. “Edward and Cassandra are scanning the underworlds for them. If it’s an elf behind this, though, I doubt they’re there.” Sighing, Dusk nodded. “I think it is. It would have to be. There’s no real link to anything but elves with all of them. So, Talon, I want you and Kai to scan the areas. Check the northern regions.” He frowned. “The North?” A nod. “Get going. I will not tolerate wasted time.”

Looking over as the others came in, Alice blinked. “Who are these people?” Eldin groaned. If it was anyone other than Alice, the complaints would come in waves, but Alice? She was just as bad as Hibachi. “The taller one is Kyoshi, the colorful haired one is… Hiba-something.” He shrugged. He had only met him once, but he couldn’t remember what his name was. The name caused Alice to laugh, jumping up and smirking before skipping into the kitchen. “So… Can I be introduced? I don’t know any of you people…” The beautiful woman grinned, not even looking at Hibachi quite yet. He was hot, but Joker had her attention. He was cooking her food!

Watching the man scramble around, Alice tilted her head to the sde, her bangs going over her face. Her pixie cut was adorable as her big eyes blinked. “Huh… You’re strange.” Laughing, she gave Joker a sexy look, smiling at him. “How nice to see you. It’s a good thing to finally meet the man Kit talked about for so long. Joker. Alright, I can remember that.” She watched as Eldin came in, the poor boy hating to be alone for too long. She snickered as he groaned. “There is something seriously wrong with you, Joker…” He grumbled but went to get himself a drink, staying by Kyoshi. At least he was a little normal.

“And you two?” she sat on the counter, her feet swinging a bit. Ugh, the ground sucked to walk on. She loved sitting on counters. “I don’t think I’ve seen either of you before… I’m Alice.” She winked, flirty and beautiful as always. “I think I recognize you…. Your Dusk’s boy, right?”
