"That's pretty cool. In fact, your a lot more cooler and more of a gentleman than your friend is." Revy said with a slight snarl. She scratched the hawk's neck a little bit more and then smiled a light smile. She was begining to like the animal.

David's head perked up lightly when she said that the hawk was more of a gentleman than Roland. He would disagree. Except he couldn't talk.

"Yes, that would be wonderful. Thank you so much Lum for helping me." Setsuka said to Lum. Her head lifted up and she smiled a warm smile, her eyes also reflecting the gratitude of the kind people here.
((I rather be sweating it out than freezing my a** off with Michigan weather. xD))

"Oh!" Revy said, slightly surprised as David's head perked up. "Guess you don't like me talking about that a** like that, but do you know what he did to me? He practically mind-raped me." Revy said. Though, in a half second, she sighed. It didn't matter what some animal thought of her, she stopped petting the hawk and looked away from it.

[it's like 98 degrees! i hate the summer ><; id rather take cold, rainy weather over hot, smoldering weather any day, but that's just me XD lol]
"You're most welcome!" Lum told Setsuka before she looked over at Roy and gave his hand a good squeeze as well.
Temari smiled at him, laughing gently as she held her hand in his own. "Thank you Inuyasha. But I actually meant if you could actually tell if I was pregnant by now. My stomach is beginning to get bigger now..." She told him, rubbing her swelling belly as she did so.

((Switch places? Cause I love the weather in our summers. When it's 90 degrees, sunny, and i can finally work on my tan. >.<))
Setsuka nodded to Lum and prepared to follow both her and the guy that was with Lum. She hadn't got the guy's name, but didn't mention it at all. Setsuka looked at how Lum and the guy held hands and smiled as she had a flashback of how her and her mentor used to be just as friendly.

((That took so much longer than I had anticipated. >.< ))
Realizing something, Jack turned to Gear. "Hey, where'd your little 'criminal' buddy go off to?" he asked.
Almost startled by the question, the superhero quickly realized that he didn't even notice Hotstreak had left. "Ah! Oh no! I've lost him!" he shouted. "Who knows what he could be doing at this very moment!?"
As it turned out, Gear needn't be panicking; at least not yet. Hotstreak was simply exploring the rather green town, and for the moment, not causing any kind of trouble. He caught a few glances from some of the residents, which ranged from disapproving to flirtatious. It was kind of nice, he noticed, being able to walk around in public like this, not having to worry that there might be a cop around the next corner...

[i worked on my tan when i went to hawaii for xmas XD lol]
Lum smiled up at Roy before she glanced back at Setsuka and blushed gently. "Oh! You two haven't been properly introduced! Setsuka, I'd like for you to meet my fiance, Roy. Roy? This is Setsuka." She said happily, loving the feeling she got when she said the word 'fiance'.
Rosette glanced around, just now noticing the red-head snuck off and was no where to be seen. "Oh no..." She muttered innocently, as she tapped her index finger against her chin. "Perhaps he's lost?"
Hitomi looked up from eating her ice cream cone at the two genius'. "How could you lose a 6-foot, spiky-haired criminal!?" She exclaimed before she threw her cone in the garbage. "Argh! I'll go look for him then!" She exclaimed before she began to run down the street, looking around for him.

((lol Glad to be back. xd It is a wonder how he can just walk away without anyone noticing like that... xd ))
"Right, I'll look, too!" Gear replied, taking off with his jet-boots. "Backpack, run a scan. See if you can pick up any traces of that lunatic metahuman," he instructed, Backpack's "eye" popping out almost immediately.
Jack watched the two leave, taking notice of Gear's robot. "Y'know, I wonder why those two seemed to get so worked up about it," he said to Rosette. "I mean, you don't hear any explosions or screaming, right? He's probably not even doing anything."
Hotstreak, on an impulse, decided to explore an alleyway he spotted up ahead. He was completely unprepared when he walked into a solid mass that was standing there. "Hey, watch it!" he snapped, clearly not intending to admit he was the one at fault. "Other people are trying to walk around here, bub!"
"Excuse me?"
"...Wow, that pale guy wasn't kidding."

"Well remember, that Hitomi girl's a psychic. Maybe she predicted him causing a bunch of trouble to the group or town or something, I don't know exactly. Maybe she just likes him." Rosette said with a shrug, smirking lightly as she did so. "What do you think Jack?"
Hitomi stopped for a moment, grabbing a hold of her glowing crystal that hung around her neck before she closed her eyes, trying to concentrate. "Okay now Hotstreak, where are you." She whispered to herself as she picked up his manna and grinned. "Got'cha!" She exclaimed before she began heading East, towards the alleyway where he was located.

"'Pale guy'?" Kain questioned, looking over this stranger. "Are you referring to Jack Spicer?"
"Actually, I don't think I got his name..." Hotstreak mused, but shrugged it off. "Dude sure sounded almost exactly like I do, anyhow."
"Yes, there is quite a bit of similarity in your voices..."
"I think that if a girl calls a guy a pig while smiling, she certainly doesn't hate him," the albino replied, grinning.

Rosette couldn't help but laugh lightly to herself, grinning back at the albino just as much. "Heh, wow. You picked that up all on your own? Good for you!" She teased lightly before nodding. "But it's true nonetheless. It seems a lot of random people have been hooking up while here on Quasar, now that you think about it.. A hanyou with a human nin, an angel with a monk, an oni alien with an alchemist, a demon with a witch hunter, an exorcist with a dhampir, and so much more..." She noted to herself.
As she ran, Hitomi tapped into her super speed, which caused her to reach the destination she was searching for faster. But when she slowed down at the entrance to the alleyway. She saw not only Hotstreak, but Kain as well. "Oh Kain! You found him!" She exclaimed with a smile, panting softly as she tried to regain her lost breath for the moment.
