JeTwHiTe Bell leaned against a tree and watched as Troden made his compromise to the situation. Her mind then wandered off in time to hear her sister.
"Why aren't they fighting?" Jen looked at the two sides with confusion and back at her older sister. "It doesn't make sense, they should be killing each other."
Bell laughed and shook her head slightly before walking over to Troden's side, but not saying anything. She looked over Lina, but dared not to look at Troden. "You have no reason to say what you have." Bell glared down at Othello, "Even if it is time being wasted, it's being wasted on both sides. If I were you I would keep my mouth shut, such large mouths have a way of being hushed." Her eyes narrowed slightly, but she made no threatening moves torward the man. Othello stood neutrally when addressed, saying nothing but still keeping his eyes looking appraisingly over the Rajens. A barely noticeable smile and glint in his eye were the only things that showed he was actually amused. He was quite glad when the teleport spell came over them, placing them around Moneko's tomb. Waiting for an order, he stood silently and looked towards Lina.

((Fudge.....))
Magnolia was in a bit of a panic. No well....she was in full blown panic. Dorien was merely flickering in her senses like a dying flame. The sensation made her heart squeeze and her chest hurt, Dorien! She tried calling him again.
((Ugh....that was dreadful....))

[lol Wow...let me help out a bit....]
The doctors who had been able to remain in the room let out a small chorus of warnings as Dorien heard the call and actually attempted to use his power to bring Magnolia there.
"It's too dangerous!" they said, "If you use lose too much energy-"
Get out. Dorien answered quietly in their heads. Now. It took now more than a few seconds before they disappeared. The Leader closed his eyes and then used what was left of his energy to send Magnolila into the elvan realm and beside him. He visibly weakened, but he had managed to stay conscious.
Before she could speak, Dorien spoke first, Tyran and Kari, I need them both to return to me. Bring them here and I should return to me former state. Tyran should be able to find Kari on his own and contain her...but hurry. I trust no one to do this task but you. That would be the closest he would ever get to saying he cared for his life, he let his actions speak for him.

Black Diamonds and Garnet "I have been asked many a time by my own kind what I am," Ashra answered, resting his back against the bench, "A lycan who is still a child after all these years is not supposed to be possible. You should see the reactions on other's faces when they find out I can destroy them with a touch. It's priceless." and of course, the strange child laughed at that.
But Quinn's answer did quiet him slightly. So his people are Rith-Kiran..that explains a lot. he thought as he listened, his head tilting slightly at the thought of age. Ashra knew more than most on how looks can be deceiving, which is why he look took an interest in Quinn. Many of factors also caught his eyes, but they could be discussed later. Or so he thought.
"The God of Time you say?" Ashra replied, his eyebrows raising slightly, "Yule is his name am I correct?" he looked down, his eyes narrowing as he sorted his thoughts. This was an ancient god Quinn spoke of, one Ashra very well. And this Rith-Kiran worships him...
He looked back at Quinn, his gaze intense before lifting his hand, "Do you know why you have come here Quinn? What purpose do you have within this city? Think well for this is important." the his black hair fell over his shoulders and he crouched upon the bench and stared into Quinn's eyes, "There is magic here that you can learn, that is true, but is that the only reason you have returned?" "You are correct." Quinn answered, "Yule is his name, the God of Time. You are well versed in your knowledge."
But Ashra's next set of questions caught Quinn slightly off guard. Why had he come to Signet City? What was his real purpose there? Yule had not given him the pleasure of such knowledge. He happened upon Remus Sect in Signet City, which was a true treat. So he figured he was meant to help his friend in whatever he needed done. But was there perhaps more? The city was so filled with magical energy that it was almost intoxicating to one such as Quinn, so he had not even considered the other possibilities.
"To answer you truthfully, Ashra," Quinn began slowly, coming to terms with the words he was about to speak, "I don't know. I came here at the will of the God of Time. He did not give me the pleasure of why he wanted me here; he only told me to be here. Time would reveal everything else when it was necessary, the one thing that Yule himself controls but at the same time does not."
He paused, trying to collect his thoughts further, "When I first arrived and happened upon my good friend Remus, I was sure that that was why Yule brought me to this city. I was to aid him in awakening the Ten, the Old Leaders. I set aside myself, set aside my never ending goal to learn all that I can, in order to do so. But now that you propose the question to me, Ashra, I'm not sure that I know if that was the reason for my coming to this wonderful, cursed city. With the Awakening of the Ten coming to a close, what purpose do I really have here? Do I have a purpose here?"
A small smile broke Quinn's straight face as he stared back into the young leader's eyes, "Something tells me that you have an idea as to why I'm here, Ashra. If you have the time, if you have the energy, I ask humbly that you enlighten me. The purpose that I once thought I had has come to a close, and I wish to go back to what I once had."

Remus took a place next to Lina, his face set and determined. His face and fur lit up with a blue glow as lightning sparked up and down his arms and hands. He waited unitl he was told to begin.

The child leader for once looked surprised at hearing such a question aimed at him. He remained in his crouched position a moment longer and then slowly slipped away from the bench, and held on to the railing, as if remembering that he indeed was weak.
"I control the flow of energy that passes through all of us," Ashra began, seemingly moving to another subject, "It is part of the reason I have chosen this form for in children, energy flows through them unabated and without the constraints an adult unconsciously sets. This flow is ancient, but I do not believe it is as old as Yule and the power he holds. But I do believe that I can give you atleast a better hint than just sending you to this place as he did."
For a moment, he looked almost proud of himself before the usual smirk appeared across his face, "Give me your hand." he lifted his small hand expectantly, "I shall find out soon enough."
[Argh...gotta wait for the others before finishing up for Moneko... whee ]

Quinn looked somewhat confused. Did he really set so many limits to himself? Was it all subconsciously done? If he could stop himself from setting those internal limits, how much power could he unlock? What powers was he holding himself back from? So many questions flooded into his brain all at once that he was almost lost in it all. He thought he had reached the end of his power for his age. Could he have been wrong?
"The limitless energy of a child..." Quinn thought aloud, thinking back to when he was young. It certainly made sense. When he was but a child, he never tired of the magic that he used. It was all a game, a never ending game.
So, he did as he was told. He gave his hand to the child leader, curiosity peaking his interest to the highest it had been in some time. He wanted to know. Part of him had to know. Was this perhaps the reason why he was originally brought to Signet City? Perhaps he was indeed meant to meet with Ashra and unlock the true secrets of his power.

((>.< Thanks....)) Magnolia blanched and there was that unpleasant sensation like a flurry of butterflies were battering around inside of her. Her breath came in sharply, "Oh Dorien..." She murmered. What had happened while she hadn't been payin attention. She wanted to ask him so much, the question burned at her lips but she pressed them together and held off. Find Tyran....that meant finding Goldie as well.... She only nodded silently and reached out to touch him gently before back away and slipping out. She had to catch her breath once she was outside and it took almost all she had not to fall over. She closed her eyes and took slow deep breaths and then reached out and out.....She didn't sense Tyran in the elvan realms. With a galvanic effort, she latched onto the Nocturne and heaved, popping outside the establishment. She let her breath puff out and had to reach out and brace herself against the wall until her head stopped spinning. She stared down at the ground and proceeded to kick herself, if shed been paying attention, if she hadn't let him out of her sight....he wouldn't be like this, would he? She set her jaw against the onslaught of tears, managing to push them back again, swallowing a lump painfully and taking a few more deep breaths. She jumped when someone touched her shoulder and swung around, blinking at Goldie. She stared at the woman. She was in a little black coctail dress. It was sleevless, she noticed, hugging the woman's curves and ending just above her knees. She was wearing high patten leather black heals and broad shiney black braclets, one on each wrist. She wasn't particularly sure why it was she was completely fixated on the other woman's outfit but it looked good. "Mags?" She asked. "Goldie....Hi." She mumbled, "Tyran...I need....Dorien...he's so...he's so weak." She covered her mouth and swallowed another lump. Goldie frowned and turned, "Tyran."

Ashra took a deep breath, closed his eyes and then let it out as the hand settled in his own. The tang of ancient magic filled the air, almost overpowering the magic already saturating the air around them, but instead of choking Quinn and Ashra with magic, it seemed to lighten the air, thinning it out and stretching it until delicate threads of energy could be seen flowing through their bodies and every other living thing around them.
The threads moving through their hands continued to flow easily, never knotting up or tangling for the flow cannot stop. For then one of them would be dead.
Ashra slowly opened his eyes and looked into the glowing threads within Quinn's as if reading a deeply encrypted letter, his free hand lifting and capturing a free thread in the air. The Rith-Kiran was indeed powerful and had performed many feats in his lifetime, but there was more to be done and of course, the safeguards his body were preventing him from moving further. Yes there they were, restricting the energy flow like rubber bands.
Did you know I would take an interest in this Rith-Kiran, Yule? He thought in mild amusement as he looked on, the mature look on his face ill-matching his child body. Is this Rith-Kiran ready to break those binds?
He let his hand fall away from Quinn's breaking the spell and returning the glowing threads into their invisible forms. He let the former magic settle around them and the sounds of chaos return to his ears before moving back onto the bench, his look now distant and filled with inner thoughts.
"Are you willing to give your all to time and energy for the sake of magic?" he asked suddenly, those golden orbs glowing as the threads of energy had done, "To be truly free of those bonds, you will have to leave your present state of mind behind you and become truly neutral flow the threads of life to flow freely. Can you do that Quinn of the Rith-Kiran? Yule's warrior?"

Tyran stood nearby and for once did have a comepletely clueless expression on his face. He had obtained a good amount of experience atleast to hide the innocence he still had. But at the sight of seeing Magnolia upset, it concern took over.
"Is she alright Goldie?" Tyran asked, moving to the succubus's side, "What has happened?"

Goldie glanced back at him, "Mags, what's wrong? What's wrong with Big Daddy?" Magnolia blinked at her then her eyes darted to Tyran. She tugged at Goldie's arms, "He needs Tyran....and Kari. He's so weak, I don't know what happened to him. He's in the elvan realms..." She said running her words together. She paused a took a deep breath, "Dorien told me to find Tyran and told me that Tyran could control Kari. He needs them both." She said clearly. Goldie nodded and looked back at Tyran, raising a dark brow, "Guess we're going on a road trip." She wasn't too keen on hearing that they'd need to come in contact with his b***h sister but Dorien knew what he was doing, at least that was Goldie's impression of him.

[lol Karrot, you are with Lina and everyone else. Merlin is too so you can post lol]
Tyran's eyes narrowed slightly before nodding and placing his hand upon their nearest shoulder, "If that is what Dorien needs to heal, then I will do what I can to help..." he looked at Goldie as if to say something more, but after almost fighting with himself, he sent all three of them infront of Dorien's tomb. He then moved away from Magnolia and Goldie, the heavy lid slowly opening as he did so. The iron circlet floated into the air as Tyran raised his hand and stopped a few inches away from his fingertips. He shivered slightly as Kari's dark aura wafted from the circlet, no doubt reacting to his own aura of light. Once again, he looked at Goldie as if to speak before his inner battle was finished and then continued by touching the circlet, his skin burning as he drew away.
He watched as the aura disappeared and the circlet fell to the floor with a loud clang that rang throughout the area, his expression grave as the aura returned once again as the shadows around them fell under the circlet and rose, bringing it with them as it formed the familiar body of his sister, Kari. Their eyes met for only a moment, but instead of a look of intense hatred or the hidden manipulation, her gaze was blank, as if Tyran had hypnotized her.
"The spell Father used to imprison her still works well," Tyran said quietly, his voice filled with an unexplained sadness, as he moved to Goldie and Magnolia with Kari floating like a ghost, "We should get moving." his hand touched both of their shoulders once again and they were soon off to the elvan realms, more specifically Dorien's own room.
Tyran could not meet Dorien's gaze that he felt was upon all four upon them as the leader said, "You did better than I thought you would Tyran," he said his voice faint and yet it was still cold, "You know what must be done."
"Yes Father," Tyran answered, his voice even fainter than the dying Leader's, "Just allow me to say my final goodbyes." Dorien's lack of a reply was all Tyran needed to hear before he turned to Goldie, his voice shaky, but resolute, "Whatever happens Goldie, do not worry our future," he said, the affection clear in his voice, "We will see each other again. I promise you that upon what honor being Dorien's son gives me and being your man."
He kissed her deeply before moving away and led Kari to one side of Dorien and himself upon the other, each of them placing a hand upon the leader, "And to answer your question, would you have let me go if I told you?" he then closed his eyes followed by Kari. A blinding light filled the room, turning white, red, black and finally grey before it finally returned to the room to its normal brilliance. There Dorien stood, his body settling upright upon the floor, his eyes closed. Tyran and Kari were nowhere to be seen.

Can you do that Quinn of the Rith-Kiran? Yule's warrior?" Quinn was both amazed and confused as the magic unfolded before him. It was an ancient magic so far gone that he hardly recognized it, but his parents and the elders of his village had used it perhaps once or twice. To see the very threads of life and power that flowed through him was both a terrifying and enlightening experience. But then Ashra asked his question. How was he to become entirely neutral? Or a more appropriate question, exactly how neutral must he become?
"I have given my life to my art up until the recent events of the past while." Quinn began, "I have held no ties to any group, organization, or people. I joined the Lotus Base in order to help Remus. To become neutral..."
His thought broke off momentarily before he continued, "I give my time to my friends. I give my time to those I care about. I use my magic for those I care about. It is why I took up magic to begin with. That, Ashra, however neutral I must become, could never change. I can break my ties to the Lotus Base; I can break my ties to every group unless it were on a temporary basis made for learning. But I cannot leave my friends. They have made me who I am."
He stood up, towering over the child leader as he did so, "My friends make me who I am. I wish to utilize my full power, but if I must give up them to do so then it is not a power I want. Kiran, Remus's cousin, is my apprentice. Remus is my best friend. Lina, his wife, took me in and gave me a home here. I cannot let go of that. Please Ashra, if I may, allow me to hang on to those few things that I hold dear in this life. Allow me to help those I care about. If that cannot be, then I will have to find another way to break the bonds that you have shown me this day."
By this point, tears had come to Quinn's eyes. He couldn't, and wouldn't, give up everything solely for magical power. It wasn't worth it. Especially since he took up the art for all the things he was just asked to forsake. He hoped that Ashra would understand that, and he hoped that possibly Ashra would all him more power despite it all.

The silence that settled after Quinn's small speech was destroyed by Ashra's laughter and no matter how small or innocent he looked, that laughter was still cold and quite terrible to hear.
"Do you really think that to be truly nuetral is to give up your friends and family? Oh Quinn of the Rith-Kiran, you have so much to learn then. I myself created the Litani family as my clan, what teacher would I be if I told you to give up something that I myself have?" he looked up at Quinn, and tlted his head, "But that is understandable I guess. You are but a child. Being nuetral is not the same as isolating yourself. It is the ability to know when the tides of good and evil are tipped and to do your upmost keep the scales balanced or when to let the chips fall where they may. Two very difficulat actions to do."
He looked tired suddenly and even yawned as he felt Moneko's power grow, "The curse I placed upon this city was he second action. You will learn which one you must choose soon enough, but before that time, I must rest. The day has been long and my body can only hold out for so long..." he finished sleepily before falling asleep upon the bench.
